962- Thank you... I'm not good with these in-between times, but it'll be worth it eventually!

MASTERYODA- lol, no it's a great feeling attaining those letters, you deserve the congrats! :)

DOTHESTU- That sounded cool seeing Satch / EJ and ALSO Vai! Wow... I saw Satch play at the London gig recently, what an amazing show:)

SLANSHROOM- LOL the JSStump1200 sounds good... that definitely sucks about those people in the arran sweaters being stuck in their ways... I have been to lots of folk clubs over the years so know what you mean by that!

MARI- Matt said thanks... will talk to him about the CD... not sure if you listened to this already - know he has recorded lots more, that one was him soloing over a backing track:)

BAHDUH- thanks for the good wishes, and for letting me know about Steven:) Hope you are having a good day...

GROWLER- Thanks for listening to the link:) Still no time to watch those damn BL films! Next week though for sure.

SATRIELLA- I am sure that on Friday I'll shed a tear or twenty, as I will miss everybody, the kids included. But I have to look onwards, I read a phrase yesterday that I liked, "Keep from looking back unless you are planning to go that way." And I certainly don't want to go back! I do have some stuff to prepare, but can't do too much of it until I get into the swing in September:) Are you going on hols anywhere? We are just going for a week to Barcelona, looking forward to it!

CLARKY- Matt (and I) are playing in St Paul's Church, Covent Garden on Sat Oct 7th at 7.30 p.m., if you can get to that it would be cool! Matt will be playing Classical Guitar, I will be singing some renaissance songs with him. Also, if you ever find yourself near where we live it would be great for you to meet up at last/ jam!

DELFINO- You are lucky- I think I must be a vampire, I have to keep out of the light.... lol

ZEN- Do you know a song called "Crazyman Michael" by any chance? By Fairport Convention...

WATERPROOF SOAP- How's things with you today?

KAYLA- Good to see you back, sorry to hear about the computer and family probs, but good news on the new kitten at least! :)

KENIKO- Wondering where you had disappeared off to :)

SORRY for the mammoth Chatathon...

Hi Joe,

Joe, have you ever been, have you ever been, to Electric Ladyland? That's one place everyone should record at at least once, methinks. I can't wait 'till a day swoon to 'find myself' in those rooms.

Keep the podcasts coming. I find some of that ish very funny, very amusing; you have a great sense of humor.

littleguitarman, bridge. The PAF Joe is the newest JS neck pickup and the Mo' Joe recently released is it's bridge-position partner.

ENGLISH GRAMMAR:

"Belated Happy Birthday" would be the correct way of phrasing good birthday wishes to Joe. How many people so far have wished him a "Happy Belated Birthday", thus inferring that Joe's birthday was late?

No offence intended, it'd just be nice to keep some basic understanding of the construction of our language alive...it'd be nice to stop that understanding being choked by all the abbreviated, lazy neo-english which comes with the non-stop lifetsyle that has been enforced upon us.

George W Bush is oficially the most dangerous man ever to have walked the earth. The Israeli/Lebanese conflict will turn global if someone doesn't assassinate him pretty damn sharpish...voting him out of office would have been the easier, tidier option, of course, but that's probably expecting a bit much.

GottahaveJoeI'm not sure what you mean by what broke on your guitar?? The input jack? Or the tuner I sent with your guitar? I should be easy to fix. If the cable that was plugged in it broke inside the jack, just get out any leftover pieces and use as normal with a new cable. If it's internal, you may have to replace the jack. Check carvin.com for the right kind and best price. I'm glad you've got a kitten. Carol is my girlfriends name! Both are cute, concidering who they are. I'm sorry to hear your troubles with family. Not everyone can handel sickness. Maybe your brother has issues with that. Keep playing and send pics when you can. Randell

fast touch - I know a few songs by The Squares are "out there" to listen to, but the only one I've actually heard is Follow That Heart. It used to be pretty widely available on filesharing sites before they started getting shut down.

Suzie2000 - I've been out of the Satch loop for the past few months...what was the setlist like at the London gig? Was it fairly similar to the setlist at the U.S. shows?
castle49 - "Just read You Tube is being sued. That would be a shame. Copyright infringement."

Why is that a shame?

I'm surprised that site has lasted as long as it has without already being sued. There are a lot of funny homemade videos there, but so many people there upload TV shows and DVDs from their computers to YouTube in clear violation of copyright law without even caring...it's quite ridiculous.
