If u wana start understanding modes simply, learn what the diff modes do - what notes are flattened, or for lydian sharpened, u can memorise that and simple positions for em, its do do with chord and scale relationships too, theyre kiand weird at first but once u get ur head around it its simple :D

bahduh, ok thanks for filling me in. I'm sorry but I can't do any praying - i'm not religious and for me to wear the facade of prayer would be very immoral, but I can asure you I have set aside some head-space for Stevie and he's in my thoughts.
Master Yoda, I once saw a 'stick in one of the second-hand shops down the end of Denmark Street....can't remember the name of the place now, it may come to me but if it doesn't, bill me! haha

962: Unfortunately I don't get over to his place as much as I used to. My hospital visits are few now(that's good news) but gas prices are keeping me from going the full distance to Stevens. + work has been crazy lately. Don't worry, It'll all work out. GottahaveJoe: Ouch! You will be okay. You can still practice with your other fingers using alternative chords. Just pretend your using a slide!! Check back with me and T2J for excercises for your finger when your done healing. We goota keep you up and runnin". You will get to go see Joe. (postive thinking!!!!) Even if not then, sometime. Who knows, maybe Joe'll suprize you. Did You like any song on the cd? Comments? Be safe Satch-girl!!!

Something every parent faces one day....has come for me....

My baby.....my only child.....has left the nest. It happened so suddenly there really wasn't time to adjust to the idea, but I suppose no amount of time can make it happen easily or without some strong emotions...

Chris is now living in Las Vegas with his dad, where it is all our hope that he "finds himself" and grows up, and matures ....he'll be looking for a job and hopefully a band to join, so he's very excited about the new possibilities that may come his way. And I'm happy for him and hope he stays safe in that big city. There just weren't many job opportunities here, and very little music opportunities...so it was a good decision my boy made. And his father and I have always remained friends, so it will be easy to stay in touch...we all cried together as I walked them out to the car yesterday...group hug.....and now all I can do is pray for him every day and love him from a distance....

But my mothers' heart is broken....I've spent all of his life caring for him, providing, nurturing and loving him....and yes, being terribly exasperated with him these past few months...I think God plans for 18 years olds to become very obnoxious so parents will be happy to let them go, lol....I'm proud he was brave enough to decide to get out there and move on with his life, cuz I think as long as he stayed home with me he'd stay dependent and "my kid". I think this is the beginning of his new path in life to adulthood...

But that's why I'm sad too....I don't know exactly what to do with myself yet...the house is soo empty and I can't even bear the thought of looking in his empty room...the door will stay shut for a long time, until I can go in there without sobbing.

I guess I have to figure out what comes next for me....but it's kinda hazy right now....

I love you with all my heart Chris....I've loved you since I first found out you existed, and I'll love you even after I go.....you are my heart.

BE GOOD SWEETIE :)
