CRO NUMBER 9: Hi there! Long time no speak... Your website looks great! Fantastic design. By the way, do you have a MySpace page too? Oh and you are a Paulo Coelho fan too- I love his books, have read most of them:)

SteveeT- Thanks. Not sure if I posted it on here already but we also bought a new practice amp- great little amp: Epiphone Valve Junior 5W Combo. Matt LOVES it...

AussieRGMan... so sorry :( Never feel stupid posting here though whatever you do- plenty of great people here to talk to when you feel like it.

SupaaDave- Ouch! That sounds horrible... can't offer any advice though- apart from maybe getting a hand massage, when I did a Piano exam once I booked one just before and it helped enormously. Don't suppose it will help after the event but you never know!

JOE!! Wow, posting again:) Any news yet on when the UK G3 tour will be?

Suzo....nice, simple, light & little cutie....congrats on the bouncing new baby amp...lol...Papa should be proud...heehee...

OCPS470...so...just picked up the BBE DI-1000 Sonic Maximizer/Direct Box yesterday. Plugged the amp out of the JSX into the Thru of the BBE, then XLR out of the BBE direct into my Tascam 2488...no signal...tried new cables...switching XLR cables...switching switches...? Do you know what the Ohmage of the JSX Combo speakers are...their not listed in the manual, and there's an alternate ohm switch on the back of the JSX, but not sure if I should leave it at 8 ohms, or change it....?

Cube - you know Future? It was a fun place to be, they threw GREAT parties! Back office (as they liked to call it) for me [computer stuff].

Suzie2000 - nice pics. How does the JSX sound with the marshall cab as opposed to the JSX cab? Appreciate you mite only be able to relate to Joe's tone from the JSX cab as a comparison. Got any sound clips : )

Anyone - for a JS10th? Going fast (18hrs) on "*bay". A snip at.... well, just go search and see for yourselves...

SteveeT - if I remember correctly you have a JS2 and a 10th. Is the 2 a vintage (circa '90) or the JS2PRM from 06? Also, for you and Cheese I have heard the rumours about the JS graphic for the anniversary. Personally, I hope they do some new stuff & leave the designs of the 3, 4 & 5 as classics, particularly the 3 (out of respect to Donnie).

Joe - can you clarify anything about the rumours for the graphic JS's? It surfaces on a regular basis but as we're nearing the 20th anniversary then I would imagine somethings possible? Also, did you ever recover your (large face) Donnie F? I have a feeling it had a nickname but can't remember...

Best wishes to all

SteveeT - oooh, S W E E T! You also have far too much money for my liking LOL. Presumably you play the PRM with velvet gloves or, you have your own chroming dept : )

JS1 HSH as well huh. You the man! If you decide you need the money, Australia only got 1 PRM so that's your market! Didn't you mean the Snake : )

Cube - It was a good gig, then they relocated the office... good point, I forgot how FNET Plc likes to go on spending sprees and buy up lots of other cool mags... they did that a lot while I was there, and it worked out well

Stevee - I've noticed that when your playing a fat run of legato muting the strings slightly is essential to getting it nice and clean. I never knew he did it with his fingers though thats kinda cool. That would explain the kinda "fist" shaped pick hand he uses most of the time. I've always used my palm.

Joe - You LOVE that m7 arpeggio don't you!! I hear you play that lick all the time! It's cool how you squeeze it in here in there to quickly shift positions and play something in the lower register. "Until We Say Goodbye" is my favorite song you do it in, the first time right into a melodic licks sounds pretty cool and smooth. Not much of an arpeggio guy are ya? I personally don't like seeing guys just massacre a ton of arpeggios all the time... A lot of kids I see these days are WAY too concerned with arpeggios, rather then playing something with interesting phrasing that could potientially be all their own.

Cube - occasionally I make web pages about the South Park animal sanctury ; ) When not doing that I instruct people how to drive fast (on a track as opposed to rally), and do IT work. What about you (when you're not playing guitar with an upturned KFC bucket on your head) LOL?

I wanna play soo sooo sooo bad....but im always so busy with school and house stuff... and well.... my guitar isnt quite playable...but when it does get fixed...I want to play... play play play... What is the most important thing I should learn and know how to do? I read something and you said chords and modes/scales.. but is there any specific ones? I know a few scales and some chords.

would it be best if I took lessons? please... I must know. haha... I wanna play sooo bad I cant stand it.

Joe- nextime you put out a live CD, how about a deeper songlist. Surfin' and Satch Boogie etc. are great, but I think I have 4 or 5 live versions of them now. You have such an amazing catalog of songs- don't let it all vanish. Thanks!

Joe Satrini....yes...I consider myself lucky & a hardworker....and that (Thee) Snake is so hippy dippy cool....a little window pane when using that one...lol...

Once Hoshino replaced my body with a new one....I've put it away so it stays pristine, untouched & unplayed...I need another one just for playing...ouch! Joe saw & signed it at the Nokia in April when I had my backstage pass, the day before I sent her back to PA....

Mike Clements...I find the best way for muting monster legato runs is hold the top of the neck with the picking hand...then you can go to town confidently w/o the fear of a stray BOING note....
