I found this at work today.
NEW OFFICE POLICY
Dress Code -You are advised to come to work
dressed according to your salary. - If we see you
wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we
will assume you are doing well financially and
therefore do not need a raise. If you dress poorly,
you need to learn to manage your money better, so
that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do
not need a raise. - If you dress just right, you are
right where you need to be and therefore you do not
need a raise.
Sick Pay: We will no longer accept a doctor's
statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go
to the doctor, you are able to come to work.
Personal Days : Each employee will receive 104
personal days a year. They are called Saturdays &
Sundays.
Bereavement Leave : This is no excuse for missing
work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends,
relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made
to have non-employees attend the funeral
arrangements. In rare cases where employee
involvement is necessary, the funeral should be
scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to
allow you to work through your lunch hour and
subsequently leave one hour early.
Bathroom Breaks : Entirely too much time is being
spent in the toilet. There is now a strict
three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of
three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet
paper roll will retract, the stall door will open,
and a picture will be taken. After your second
offense, your picture will be posted on the company
bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders"
category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will
be sectioned under the company's mental health
policy.
Lunch Break :
Skinny people get 30 minutes for
lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy.
Normal size people get 15 minutes
for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their
average figure.
Chubby people get 5 minutes for
lunch, because that's all the
time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
Thank you for your loyalty to our company. We are
here to provide a positive employment experience.
Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns,
complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations,
insinuations, allegations, accusations,
contemplations, consternation and input should be
directed elsewhere.

aussieRGman - really sorry to hear your news. My thoughts & prayers to you and your family
Stevee T - allegedly, there is a clue to new 2007 models on Disc 2 of the latest DVD!? Mine arrived today and I haven't got near it yet... but that's got me intrigued
Cube - I like products that will relate to guitar : ) it does sound cool ya know. I'm up for a job swap, you can come over here and shout "BRAKE" louder than I do.... given a different accent people might pay more attention
Cheese - thanks for the update. I reckon that amount in chat would be fun any time. Is that some kind of record (every time I peek, it's empty)? Joe can talk for America hey, that's funny.
alexandrecaetano - no, just hoping to add a 1000 soon. They are awesome guitars aren't they. You have a 1200CA?
Joe - Paul Gilbert for G3 : )
Guthrie fans - I've listened to bits & bobs from Guthrie, & am very familiar with his playing from the (Future Publishing) guitar mags... and he sounds like Jennifer Batten to me.... do I run and hide now?
Satriella - you ok dear, not drowning under emails at all?
Take care everyone

Cube - oh, pants... did I not say already? Sorry, I instruct people how to drive fast (P/T), which often involves me saying the word brake in steadily increasing volume, with little or no effect! Keeps you awake that one : )

Keniko: No I don't, but I wouldn't mind having one. I'd love to actually try one out before I sunk that much money into it, though. All I have are an Ibanez SA160, an old Kramer Pacer that I got from a pawn shop for $70 that an old girlfriend has on permanent loan (I'll probably never get it back), and an old Cort copy of a Gibson Explorer that my grandfather got me that I keep for sentimental value.
Does anyone have experience with both the Roland GT-8 *and* the Line 6 Pod XT? I'm kind of torn between the two. Any recommendations?

alexandrecaetano.....must be some legal eagle, gooey gumbo..stopping the contest world wide....I have a special place in my heart for
Greg Howe, as I've taken lessons from him prior to his move to the left coast....California, but I fear he's not in Joe's radar based on his most recent statement regarding G3 criteria...he is known world wide in certain circles & certainly capable.....who knows....?...gotta believe....
Joe Satrini....hmmm....honestly, I don't own the new live DVD yet, so until I do, I'll have to rely on others to shed light on the clues for NAMM 2007....
