Cappy, I'm 42, proud of it, and the perfect age to have an 18 year old. If by chance I did use a walker, I'd bust if upside yer head for making such a lame ass comment. No offence there bro.

And now, I'm off to get a Christmas tree. Tra la, tra la.

I couldn't believe when Steve Vai's Aftershow meeting had finished in Sydney, I walked about 2 meters behind Joe while he was still meeting his group.
My son and I were the last out from Steve's meeting and followed him out of the room and down the stairs. Steve walked up to Joe and put his arm around him. I wasn't game to stop as the security, quite sternly told us to keep walking straight through and DON'T stop. I wanted so badly to yell out but thought it best to keep walking to save a brillant the night from turning bad incase security wanted tostart.
If anyone was there I was the balding one carring the guitar case out. But why would anyone notice me when Steve Vai joined your Aftershow get together.

Cappy, fair enough. Just had a go round with a troll in the chat the other week about age. He didn't like the fact that we saw his web page said he was 26, but he's really 32 or something like that. We called him on it, and he went into pussy mode calling me and another chatter old ladies and became very rude and ignorant. I wasn't going to stand for that again. There are millions of people who never get to be my age, so it really pisses me off when I hear somebody pissin' on it.. Every day is a gift, and for the dumbasses who don't get that - well I just feel sorry for them. *putting dagger away*

Stevee T - "50plus....cool....thanks....how'd you hear of Dimi?"

Hi Stevee T,

I met Dimi on a music collaboration forum about 2 years ago. Dimi and some other guitar players sent me songs to put on a Joe Satriani fan appreciation CD, which I gave to Joe when I met him in Columbus, Ohio in 2004. Joe said he was honored. I was honored too!

Joe,in april of 2000 I saw you at house of blues in chicago. After the show I somehow managed to get backstage ( without a pass ). I interrupted you while you were enjoying a sandwich ( sorry about that ) but you were still very cool and signed a poster for me and chatted for a couple of minutes even though I was not supposed to be there. I think that shows what a class act you are and how much you appreciate the fan support. Next time I'll go through the proper channels. Thanks for all the memorable moments

Hi Stevee T,

There were only 8 copies of the CD made - one for Joe and each of the contributors. I just checked and the project songs are no longer online. :(

I can say without reservation though that Dimi's track on it, the first version of "End of Summer", was the best track. You can download it(new album version) and another song free on his website... Dimi's website

Dimi may be moving to the US soon and is looking forward to meeting Joe.
