Can't believe it took me so long to find the best website around. Greetings to you, Joe and to your fantastic band and crew. Hi to all you fellow music-lovers.
I'm a bit of a late developer - it's taken me until my 40th year to fully apreciate the extraordinary effect that your music has on so many people of the world. I am now nothing less than a Satch addict and thank heavens for mp3 players allowing the groove to always be on.
My current favourite album is Love In Space but it varies depending on the mood. Anyway, hope to catch some of you around soon and thanks for making it such a breeze to become part of the comunity.
All the best to you all from Essex, U.K. Mike

Hi Joe:

I usually buy one or two CD's a year, nothing out there really excites me anymore. I was recently at a Border's and saw 'Super Colossal' and just bought it because of your past greatness. Well let me tell you my friend, I am really disappointed. Your playing is uninspired but worse than that is the rhythm tracks. You played bass, which I do, and it sounds like someone who has only played a year. Every song is the same, you play the root of the chord and only in quarter notes, every song!! Plus, it just rumbles on, like bouncing a ball that is half inflated. With your talent and connections couldn't you have had a top notch talent doing the bass?? Plus the 'I will sit in the studio and do it all myself thing' rarely makes a good record. We musicians need the feedback and back and forth. Bottom line, I want my $20 back. P.S. War is perhaps the greatest instrumental track of all time. I still remain a fan, but please Joe, not more bass playing.

Well guys Im home , and I have to say Im very dissapointed.. not at Joe or the show , that was awsome and he played summersong thanks Joe... I was 3 rows back from the front and I was in awe all night John was incredible live, better than on the dvd, Steve can really make his axe sing and Billy Sheen was amazing .., so was Dave and Gaelen (spell) but the dissapointment came from the staf and management I suppose.. I had originally bought a gold ticket, thinking that gets you at the front which was all I wanted. Any way as you all know I nearly didint go cause of my mums funeral last week,

I had recieved an email I'm happy to tell you that you've won the next random drawing we're doing for aftershow passes to shows from Joe's current tour!

Simply check in at will-call (usually the ticket booth) with photo ID and they'll give you two aftershow passes-- one for you and one for your guest.

The name we have from your account profile is:

"Jason Ramsay"

If this is not correct, you must reply to this email ASAP and we can try to get the correct information to the will call booth. now I went there and which was at the front of the horden and got my ticket and lamanet thingy, but for the after show pass they had no clue of this,no one did I knew I should have printed the email but my printer hates me..

So I went in side after the line was alowed thru , talked to some one at the desk near the internal doors they said to go to the right of the stage after the show , took my name and I showed them my drivers liscence with photo id..

After the show which I enjoyed I waited till most had left and went to where the others were lining up and some dude with brown hair with an amerian accent told us all to sit up on the seats and he didnt want to be there all night.. so waiting and waitng he eventually came up and was saying platnum people only to see Joe, I intruduced myself and told him about me on Joes website what my name wasd and website name. But he clearly told me that no gold tickets can meet Joe.. and literly told me to Poff and that I should have spent more money on tickets, .. I tell you I was all most in tears, Im sure he could have cared less, and I thru down my lamente thing that Id worn all night and walked out....

I then had to walk back to central station as the busses and taxis were full and got the last train back to my sisters at granville /chester hill.. my heart was broken yet once again.. Nothing against Joe, but that dude,, and some other lady going round was not fun at all... I didnt get home till 2 am at my sisters place.

I nearly wasnt going to go except for the email. so thats my sad story .. I know it wasnt your fault joe. but if you have these draws or what ever you call them, please tell managemnt or something ... This really hurts...

I'll quote...

"...Crowd Chant before Vai and Petrucci joined him on stage for his signature tune, Surfing with the Alien."

Ahh, am i on crack or did surfing never get played? I dont tihnk it did (mainly cause all night I was hoping joe would play it). So yes the article was funny because he didnt know shit? Vai and petrucci came out during always with me always with you.

aussieRGman: Damn Jason, definately not the ending I was expecting from your show bro, I'm sorry the meet didnt work out for ya :-( The only thing I can imagine is that Joe was just getting swamped with tons of Platnum folk, and they couldnt get anymore peeps in there.... As you can imagine, Aussie doesnt get the chance to see Joe everyday, so I'm sure they were overwhelmed.... No excuse for the fans left behind IMO though.... So....

If I were Joe's Tour Manager, I would tell folks long ahead of time so they dont have to wait to get turned down.... And I would also have some goddies (Satch swag) to give the folk that cant get to see Joe (aka the free aftershow winners).... lol, maybe Joe will read this and take that idea to heart, but I'm sorry you didnt get to meet Joe Jason, but at least you got the chance.... As far as the future bro, never say never, and keep that chin up.... I've yet to see Joe live....
