actually guys the opening so called morphing page which never really morphed much is flash based and it bases your countdown off of your systems clock.... so if you go and change your system time to something different then type in satriani.com again you will see a different time to blast off on the counter ;) change your date to tommorow and it will show zeroes already but nothing revealed :( sniff sniff
in otherwords it seems they wanted it to appear to be zero at midnight july 11th going into july the 12th thursday no matter who you were assuming your computers date and time were correctly set and Im sure sometime on thursday the 12th probably nearer the end of that day California time Joe and his webmaster aka Jon will probably post whatever is is they intended too unless Jon's not in cali and they are doing this where the tour is at the moment, ahhh the age of the modern laptop computer ya know
be paitent folks, someone nailed it on the head, theres everyone around the world with all the different timezones to deal with and im sure they wanted to be as fair about it as possible so everyone gets the general idea of when it is and no ones gonna get a sneek peak or anything....

Can't wait for the countdown to read ....0.... I'm so happy for Joe and what he's created. If you look back on his cd's and dvd's ....well.....he's ben' a busy man. Like Stevee T said....Joe has created a wonderful collection of great songs and brought back the guitar right where it should be.

Well time i go to bed...
Although i was a day early for the surprise it has ended up being a great night met a great guy Rygeldude in chat and chatted for quite a while along with dandaman from australia a big thanx to rygel for 1) having another satch fan to chat with. 2) For making the night fly by chatting guitars and scales and modes and 3) For the huge smile ya left on my face....
what a great night.......... woohoo see ya all in the morning...
