Grusky - SMF = Simply Majestic Fretting (maybe)

Conch - You'll not be much longer on this earth if you lump the Irish and Brits/English together. They generally have a certain antipathy toward us (not entirely unjustified I might add). To give an example, my MIL was once visiting and as the England v Ireland rugby match was on the telly said she would like to watch it. No problem says I, I was then subjected to listening to her encouraging her lovely Irish boys against those horrible English ruffians. On the odd occasion I summoned up the courage and opened my mouth to speak I got one of those looks from my wife that would stop a runaway train!

And following on from Monterrey Trace....

Wimmens words.

1.) FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the match before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5.) Loud Sigh: This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

8.) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying F@!K YOU!

9.) Don't worry about it, I'll do it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now about to do it herself. This will later result in a man asking "what's wrong?", for the woman's responses refer to # 3.

Satriella - yeah, the Mini Colossal Song just rocks. "I never have anything..." - not true. You've got some of the best Satriani drawings I've seen (what's your web site again?), and you make people feel welcome here (speaking for myself, anyway).

Captain Steve - that's the best one I've heard yet - it certainly describes the song well :-)

wasp2020 - thanks for the plug :-), and thanks for helping me out with getting more info for the site.

-- It's kind of buried in the about section of my site, but I'm offering $25 for anyone who can figure out the whole spoken word intro to Flying In A Blue Dream, and $25 more if you can tell me exactly where it came from (radio, tv show name). I've tried using a demo of a very expensive audio forensics tool with no luck (but I really didn't know what I was doing...).

Cappy, didn't know I was lumping Brits and Irish together, but it IS raining on the whole lot of 'em. lol! Now as for yer post about wimmins - here's a clarification///

1. Fine = F.U., 2. Five minutes = F.U, quit nagging, 3. Nothing = F.U., yer an idiot and not worth my breath, 4. Go Ahead = F.U. I'm not afraid to draw blood, 5. Loud Sigh = F.U. is he worth getting arrested for on disorderly conduct and battery charge, 6. That's Okay = F.U. sleep with one eye open, 7. Thanks = F.U. I'll let you see another day, 8. Whatever, yeah, that does mean F.U. lol!, 9. Don't worry about it = F.U. ya get no supper either!

C;maaaan, it can't just be me!!! lmao!!!!

Gruskada: I too as well have some audio software tools.I slowed it down & put it thru an EQ. The spoken words are in another language.....Due to musical interference, very little can be made out. However,What I heard was "Enkay Wetu" then laughing over and over.....Then the words "At certain times"...

The subject has come up before and Joe said ther was some RFI coming thru the amps at the studio. Most likely from a nearby radio station.Joe said it's cool so leave it in there...I think?......

Show me the money!......

Good Late Morn Satchland.....What Up?

I'm reposting a part of yesterday's post

Please I need a response. This is very frustarting.

ATTENTION: Mac owners on T2J. Would you please go to my site to see if it loads properly. On my Mac our site wont load and all I get is a Quicktime logo on top of the Band dates from the home page. This is confusing as my site is Flash based and dosen't use Quicktime for anything. With your help I'll know it's my Mac and not something embedded into the site somewhere. Thanks so much.

Webmaster Jon.....If you read this......got any ideas on what this could be ????

Our Site

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Edit: BTW....This only a Mac issue. PC puter's load fine.

jblaze - hmm - that's interesting about a part being in another language. Here's what Dave over at SatrianiScience.com figured out:

(MAN) What about afterwards?

(BOY) Sometimes afterwards they still like each other, and sometimes they don't.

-- I used DC Live Forensics, btw. It's ~$1,200 to buy. I just downloaded the free version that works on 30 second clips (perfect for the intro :-)).

Joe, I enjoyed the article in 10/07 Guitar World.I admire the friendship that you and Steve Vai have and I am looking forward to the day when you both work on project together.I liked the part when talked about the influence and instruction you received from Bill Westcott. He sounds like a good teacher and helped push the walls of discipline and creativity.Joe I know you are given a gift and ability in music, but through your discipline and devoution to the craft you have become an icon and premiere artist.I believe the are many talented musicians in this world but where they may fall short is in their discipline and maybe even in their character.Which leads me to another reason why I admire so much as an artist,it is the character you display. For as talented as you are, you display humble, graceful presence on & off of stage.I truly believe it is geniune and has contributed to your success.I also see this same element in Steve Vai.Best of luck on your future endeavors and best wishes to you and your family & friends.Looking forward to your show at the Roxy.
