Congrats to all the contest winners! (someone please take me along with you to the show!)

Satriella - hehe :-) Thanks for the link to your drawings.

Cork1 - Welcome to T2J. I've got family in Ireland (from Offaly). It is a great place. BTW, this girl?? http://www.vai.com/index_tour07/index_20070720.html If so, wow, nice work...

jblaze - Joe said before (liner notes on Electric Joe Satriani) that he doesn't know what is being said at the beginning of FIABD. I'm sure he knows what S.M.F. means, though...

I'll try asking nicely: Joe, could you please tell us what S.M.F. means? :-)

Speaking of the Electric Joe Satriani...

Webmaster - last question for a while I hope - I'd like to include info from the liner notes of The Electric Joe Satriani album on SatchNotes.com, but I know that the liner notes may be a big part of the reason that people might buy that album (and the new Surfing box set), and the last thing I want to do is take away sales from Joe. One idea I thought of was to include just one fact from a few of the songs, and note that there's more info about the song on the liner notes, and then link to the Sony store or something like that. I could even include Joe's referral code, if he's got one. So then he potentially gets more money. I'd also probably want to hold off on posting any new Surfing liner notes at all for a while. Does this sound ok?

Hey! ! ! How about some comedy to lighten the load:

An Irishman goes to confession in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. "Father, it has been one month since my last confession. I had sex with Nookie Green twice last month."

The priest tells the sinner, "You are forgiven. Go out and say three Hail Mary's."

Soon after, another Irishman enters the confessional. "Father, it has been two months since my last confession. I've had sex with Nookie Green twice a week for the last two months."

This time the priest questions, "Who is Nookie Green?"

"A new woman in the neighborhood," the sinner replies.

"Very well," sighs the priest. "Go and say ten Hail Mary's."

At Mass the next morning, as the priest prepares to deliver his sermon, a tall, voluptuous, drop dead gorgeous redhead woman enters the sanctuary. The eyes of every man in the church fall upon her as she slowly sashays up the aisle and sits down right in front of the priest. Her dress is green and very short, with matching shiny emeraldgreen shoes.

The priest and altar boy gasp, as the woman in the matching green shoes and dress sits with her legs slightly spread apart.

The priest turns to the altar boy and whispers, "Is that Nookie Green? "

The bug-eyed altar boy can't believe his ears but replies, "No, I think it's just the reflection off her shoes

i agree, no money should exchange hands if mr axe gives the ticket away thats fine but you shouldnt accept money like that, sorry thats how i see it, but do what you want, i can see his point of view but hell, joe could have had a silent auction or something like that, i dont think the spirit of the contest was to make anyone money but whatever.... :( this was a giveaway to the lucky fans, not for just the rich, you just had to get there somehow

I hafta agree with what's been said - it's kind of a low deal to make money off a free ticket. If ya couldn't afford to go, you shouldn't have entered. To have a friend pay their own way is cool, but to make money off of it is kinda slimey.

Keniko, great joke!

Alan, I'll second that on the peanuts. Way better! lol!

I love this clip. You can see Joe play with his teeth and wait for my camera to flash while they play Foxy Lady So friggin cool!!! One of the best nights ever!
