Cappy/Satriella:Peeps its a terrible day for Scotland, i really thought Gordon Brown for a while was goin t stick Bushs views on foreign policy where it dont shine & for a moment i felt relief & pride but hes chickened out n made a 180 degree spin, how dare he say we owe the US for their fight on terror when it is Europe & the US that created 9/11 etc from invading Iraq/Afghanistan & robbin their oil reserves.I,ve said it from the start, this “war on terror” bull is nothin but a media scapegoat for the people so Cheney n the boys get t their black gold n the Bush Empire gains control over yet another country, whos next i ponder, i feel embarrassed t be Europian even more so Scottish n believe me, i never thought i,d see the day i would have t say that, i cant help but feel total disgust at this blatant vulgar display of power, scuse me while i throw

cheese - just checked out the Grace Potter thing - wow! Great performances by everybody (except the trumpet player seemed a little off to me at times, but otherwise he was really cool). Joe looks totally possessed :-) - great solo, though, and flavorings throughout the song. Checking out Grace Potter's music now on Yahoo Music...

Thanks for the interview link as well. I'll listen to that soon too.

About the surgery - is everything ok? (yes or no is cool if you don't want to go into details)

Hey Joe, I got a question for you. Ever think about covering Skynyrd's "Free Bird"?

Blue_Moon - That 'naked canon rock' thing was...weird...to say the least. That's a minute of my life wasted.

slanshroom - I don't like Bush either. Just don't start blaming the entire US for the terrorist activity going on around the world. ;-) Terrorists have their own agendas, regardless of what free, sovereign contries do.

Yet another boring day at work...the internet - what a gift!

Time to hit youtube for some metal health.

- Cheers, John

Hey T2J, just droppin' by to say hi :o)

Did a show last night with my band, & we had a blast! Nothing like getting up & playing an instrumental set in front of a crowd. I'll post pictures on my web site if & when I get them :o)

On another note - I got to sit down with a Parker Fly guitar for about an hour yesterday............... I want it...... one of the best guitars I've every laid my hands on :o) So, if anyone would like to donate to a good cause, go to my website & order an Alien Water Dance cd from my media page.. 100% of the proceeds wil go towards my purchase of a Parker Fly............ (I just kidding BTW, but feel free to buy a CD anyways)

Cheers,
Dan

cheese - glad you're ok. Yeah, if anyone wants a question to ask Joe, I'll be glad to send you a few ideas (email me at webmaster@satchnotes.com). Actually, any song that has a (0) next to it on SatchNotes might be a good bet to ask about. It's fun to think up your own questions, too, though.

I'd record it for you, but none of the local stations carry it where I live (I don't think - I'll have to look into it again.)

Here's a question (not a good one for Rockline, though :-) - Joe posted this back in '06:

"Chad, that's a John Cuniberti song title!... Joe" http://www.satriani.com/perl/2002/ttj/main?thread=1&age=&page=4965&author_id=&search_str=

I searched through 15 days worth of posts and can't find a "Chad". So I'm assuming that somebody edited their name.

My best guess is that Joe is talking about the post from js1200js1000:

"...LISTENING TO COOL#9 GOOD SONG..."

since right after that, and after a flurry of blue text from Joe, js1200js1000 says "What about me?" :-)

So, does js1200js1000 = chad?

EDIT: Think I just figured it out, js1200js1000 does = chad: http://www.satriani.com/perl/2002/ttj/main?thread=1&author_id=118150

Sorry if you're in the witness protection program or something, dude. If so, you need to cover your tracks better :-)

Still not enough to go on to put it on SatchNotes, though, since no question was directly asked. Way too much work for a small bit of info :-)

Blackheart1211:I dont blame the people neither in the UK or US, i blame those who know better & continue t support those who govern overall while stealing from others in plain sight.Furthermore i dont see how we can call someone a terrorist for defending & fighting back against those “our own” who have invaded. We call them cowards for wrapin plastic explosives around themselfs & triggering the switch in an attempt t nail a few of us, hardly cowardly, infact quite the opposite. The message is clear, they want us out, we can only be thankful they dont have the A bomb at their disposal! at least not yet, its no wonder the powers that be flinch when Iran gets mentioned, i know i do cause when the Taleban & Iran link arms man... we can all kiss our ass goodbye

Hey Joe. Joe.. your freaking amazing. I got so much to say...but dont know how to say it. Those vids that Cheese posted where just GREAT. The video of you playing with that girl on piano.... i couldnt keep the tears in. The way you played in that was just amazing. I loved being able to see your eyes when you played... I think that is why it was very emotional for me because we can see more of what your doing... and.... kinda see how your working inside when we see your eyes... I really hope you understand what Im talking about.... once again it didnt come out really how I mean it... but I tryed my best. Your an amazing person Joe and your always so positive....never forget that. Luv ya Joe. hugs and hope you hvae a WONDERFUL day!

Cheese- Hey T thanks for posting those videos. the first one of him playing was just freakin awesome. absolutly wonderful. I really needed that. Thanks again!

Captain Steve - I get your name right, you do the same for me, ok? I'm no pirate. Your political beliefs may differ from mine, and I respect that. Personally, the world is a better place without him. You don't think that once he could hit us from afar that he would? I mean, we did crush his massive army back in the Gulf War. Just something to think about there.
