goodsaintsman-I too will be at the chicago show. Get there early. The last time I saw Joe at HOB I got there early and ended up right in front, with my arms resting on the stage. To see Joe play up close is mind boggling. Have a good time.

Cheese-I think that was Jeff on rythme guitar. I saw joe during the self titled cd tour and Jeff was playing guitar. Jonathan Mover was on drums. I think what i remember most about that show is when Joe came out and he did'nt have hair.

JS1200-Congrats on your baby! Whats his/her name?

roffler, good to know I'm not totally delusional, LOL....I knew it HAD to be Jeffy C on the git, as during that time JM was on drums...it's just kinda strange to see Jeff with a guitar round his neck, instead of a whole kit sittin in front of him, LOL!!!

Even at sound check, Joe looks like he has fun in life, dunt he :)

Well...tomorrow will be quite the busy day...up at 4 am, 3 hour drive to Bend...surgery at 9:40 am....and hopefully home before too many days go by. Life is certainly interesting, isn't it? Sometimes you gotta go through the tough stuff to get to the good stuff.

One thing I know, is that I'll have many people in my heart with me as I falls asleep....and all of them still there waiting when I wakes up. It's a VERY good feeling to have love in your life :)

And the other good thing about tomorrow? I'ma have Joe with me :)) They said I could bring any music I wanted with me and can have headphones on during surgery....I'm taking The Extremist, and Joe Satriani, the red album, in there with me. I'd take them all but it's not gonna last THAT long, plus.... can't have me dancin around in my unconsciousness to Joe's rockin songs....I think WAR will be enough of a challenge to lie still for, don't you? LOL!!

LOVE YA JOE....and thanks for being there for me tomorrow :) I know everything's gonna be fantastic with your music flowing through me :)

Catch ya all when I get back home!! Be good!

Hi Joe...just thought i'd say hello...

Hugs

Satriella...sorry if u upset...talk to me eh?

Slanshroom...well i suppose we could say Joe has the best electric tone but as for acoustic...hmmm? there's a lot of guitarists who have great tone but i think Joe's tone now is better than ever with his new peavy amps & wotnot...he just sounds soooo good with what he's using at the moment it's hard to imagine him changing it but you never know!

For Flamenco.... i think Juan Martin has fantastic tone

Best electric tone...best acoustic tone.....?????

Captain Steve:On Clarky, feel free t stick him in some kind of category, i,m not

Your inner ear evolves in time & somehow moulds everything you ever heard into some kind of mystical conclusion Its a weird thing tone, some peoples guitar sound has the frequency of wasps stuck in a jam jar others prefer the frequency smooth, like hot chocolate being poured into a bowl or better yet into the wasp guitar jar lol

Then theres the political lie media angle by that i mean if someone tells you its the best tone enough times you,ll start to believe it t be the truth even if its the furthest thing from it

we are all individual, whos t say whats right or wrong, interesting trying t put what tone is into words tho

tone is a subjective thing.. so everybody is right,

my taste for my own tone has chaned , for the better i hope, I even got a compliment from a guy that hears loads of guitar sounds "the best tone i have heard from you yet". thats kinda been pushing me. there is no best tone, but there is the best tone to you , since we are all differentwe will all like different things, so enjoy em all for what they are :)

Slan - Wasn't asking you to put Clarky in a category, was just being a bit of a devil wondering what you thought of his 'tone', no harm meant. Personally I do put Clarky in a category and that category comes under the heading 'Fecking A'.
