lol..btw...that was me noting to Joe "No, Egnigmatic"...lol. ..i love that tune and knew it was coming after NY. i think this was Joe's best performance ever, of the ones ive heard and experienced. I may be Bias, but thanks to this "Something Big", i had a week thats beyond imaginable musically and seeing all of SF and the many cool people i met. It has me thinking of relocating to CA...lol

Mr Joe Satriani,
It was truly an honor to be a part of this amazing night. I could only imagine the feeling of accomplishment being back in that studio after all these years. Your performance was the best gift you could give to me and all your fans and hope i did it justice in my record of the events. Im looking forward to the spring and a new generation of your music that reminds me of how alive i am ! Enjoy your Vacation! and thanks!
Joe "Axeshredder"(jc)

Ibztone - yep, had the same thing happen to me with Planet Waves. I also sent them an email telling them to just ship the picks to me when they were in stock instead of canceling the order, but they never responded.
axeshredderjc - so, are you on the payroll yet then? :-)
Stevee T - Wow - that was amazing! That's one of the best Joe covers I've ever heard. It literally sent shivers down my spine, and that doesn't happen very often with me. Kudos for doing something a bit different with the song, too.
roffler - SatchNotes.com has links to tons of interviews with Joe on every song and album page. I know, I'm plugging my site yet again. Gotta stop that.
aussieRGman - interesting song, I like it. I've always loved the clean/delay sounding stuff that Joe does (though I think Joe taps everything out vs. using delay on songs like Midnight, The Forgotten (part 1), etc.). BTW, there's a lot clipping around 1:50 when it starts to pick up.

climber, sorry about your knee. That sucks hard. Just take it easy and don't rush it, cause that will just cause more pain and swelling. Well, now you can read all those books and mags you've been putting off, and you can learn to be an ace solitaire player. Hope you're feeling better soon.
McFee, I'm hanging in there, ty. Crisis already this morning, but it's all part of the deal. She'll be okay. Me on the other hand, I can feel the gray hairs coming. lol!

Hey Joe - Your show in Chicago was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, even though I waited and waited and wiated to hear "Ten Words." LOL Next time - ok? I just wanted to thank you for taking a few moments to talk with me an my son, Oscar, in the hotel lobby. It was God's blessing to put us in the same place at the same time! Oscar has been studying guitar for eight years and as we said is thinking of checking out Berklee school of Music in Boston. I can't tell you what a huge impact you made by taking the time to talk with us for a few moments even though you were tryining to get to your room! As a mother, that impacted me the most, that you were kind enough to give a little of your time to my son who is a HUGE FAN. He studies your material and that of Steve Vai for hours upon hours each day. My husband and I have a local band and he is already sitting in on some of the songs that we perform. Anyway, we were both so excited to see you that we forgot to do the typical picture and autograph "thing!" LOL Anyway, thanks again for being not only a great musician but a great person as well! Take care. Renee
