Ten words for ya Joe:
elegant, virtuoso, brilliant, humble, graceful, pure, gifted, artist, dedicated, satriani
Very cool to see BLUE!! Congratulations on this anniversary!!...I spent the last few evenings visiting my brother Richard Termini, another great musician...you can hear his music in John Turturro's movie Mac who is also my cousin...my family is filled with talented folks...anyway we hadn't seen each other for awhile...and spent the last 2 days talking into the wee hours... talking about music...he was teaching me a lot...of course your name came up....I almost hear angels sing when I mention your name...funny thing Joe, I can share your music with my son and my brother....your music flows beautifully through generations............................................................keep on creating dear man.
Hey axeshredderjc thanks for sharing the Joe interview...very enjoyable! Was that "our" Kayla in the interview?
Thanks to all in Satchland who post links to go to...I love Satchland...a place to share and grow...and smile....a land of musicians and music lovers.....nothin' better than that......Smiles,
illuminata

LOL, Joe... IGA... yeah they just closed ours here in the Sunshine City... it's now a Foodland... IGAs are a dying breed of grocery store... that small town grocery store is almost few and far between... there's one in Coldwater ON, Canada... I've heard Eddie Van Halen himself shopped there once or twice over the years as he and Valerie and Wolfgang, had a cottage in a town not too far from there called Waubaushene On. Canada... that's where Eddie would disappear from time to time to get away from the spotlight...
Interesting Tidbit... lol...

Well I am at the end of my first week as a new college graduate. For some reason it hasn't hit me as "all that." I'm hoping that the fall term of NOT having classes will make it a bit more...something.
Cheese - My dad took a wrong turn out of the Crater Lake area and had to stay the night in yer town on Mon.. He said it wasn't as scary as he had feared. LOL BTW: I never heard from your buddy, hopefully all is well and he has settled in. You comin up for Vai next month?

My friend won't be arriving there till mid-October....I did pass yer contact information on to him, we'll see if he loses it or not, LOL!! But you prolly wouldn't hear from him till at least then in any case.
Dunno what to say about yer dad...at least someone in the family shows a lil taste ;) As fer Vai, woulda done the Portland show if it was all ages, since I'm taking Chris....but noooooooooooooooo it's 21+....so we're hitting the show in San Fran, less than 3 weeks away now :))

This Day in History
Potato Chips First Prepared (1853)
It is believed that the original potato chip recipe was created by Native American chef George Crum at the Moon Lake Lodge in Saratoga Springs, NY, on August 24, 1853. Fed up with a customer who continued to send his fried potatoes back, claiming they were too thick and soggy, Crum decided to slice the potatoes so thinly that they couldn't be eaten with a fork. The customer was delighted, and the chips became a regular item on the lodge's menu.
Wow Crisps were invented today

Civ, sounds like a bride's wedding experience, You go through all that hard work for all that time, then when the big day finally happens and is over, yer like "hmm, is that it?" LOL!!! I think my 40th birthday was like that too - and that took 40 years of hard work to get to!!! Big congrats because it's a big deal - even though you don't feel it yet. lol!
They closed our IGA about 15 years ago when we moved to this town. It's a lovely Blockbuster strip mall now.
potato chips alan!
edit: Climber, just saw the picture of your bike and my heart sank. I'd be sick if I had that and couldn't ride it (not that I ride, but that's a feckin beauty!) Hope each day brings your knee closer to a full recovery - and QUICK too!
