i used t own the crossroads vinyl...it didnt come with the guitar duel but some damn fine blues on that disk, my ex has it now... sigh.Arlen Roth arranged the music, not Ry Cooder, but i guess the record company figured theres more money in Ry than Arlen, thats how it goes i guess

I know many of you know the tragedy we were hit by 2 years ago, when I lost my wife, Deborah, and my oldest daughter Gillian in a car accident. Me and my youngest have been trying real hard to fight on, and we thank you fans for the thousands of letters, cards and emails of support. Gillian was just about to start her own TV show on Nickelodeon as a guitarist, just like her dad. I passed it all on to her, and now we've all been robbed forever of this incredibly beautiful genius of a child who had just turned 14. Thanks again for all your love and support.

Babe i cant even remember all those post,s you would know better then me with whats happening to me from reading them some year later the cops just come and take me to my new pad! colobian drug cartel will be their already called them he takes care of sue at my place in mexico he runs the cratel for me! hes my partner i will be like pablo escobar had a prison custom built for himself i think it,s 2010 or 2012 when the cops take me to my new place we dont change silly! it,s still me and you who knows maybe will be living to gether by then and i will cancel the whole thing cant remember it the posts are correct though and encrypted later wolf2

To anyone who wants to answer this - what's the biggest thing that got you to the "next level" of guitar playing? i.e. Learning all the notes on the fretboard, learning more modes, being exposed to a certain type of music, etc.
Amir K - I did regular GW-BASIC when I was a kid, and can usually hack my way through a language I'm not familiar with. I might be able to help. I think a QBasic forum or newsgroup may be a better place to ask than the Joe Satriani site, though :-)
Rubina_and_Joe - I could be wrong about this, but I don't think Joe would include a type of track because a few people asked for it on T2J (though he did take T2J requests for his "Electric Joe Satriani" anthology album, but that's a different kind of thing). Joe always has a theme to his albums, and I'd imagine that the theme has already been worked out already. Though I would love to see more self-titled album style stuff as well...
