hey joe, you got any hints or helpful ideas on jazz improv? I'm a freshman at Iowa State University and i just got into a jazz combo with a couple grad students who are amazing musicians. Im predominately a blues guitar player, so i never got into all the theory involved with jazz improv.
You should also think about coming to Iowa sometime. Iowa kinda sucks cause the closest place big acts come to is Chicago. You should come play at the Hilton Collosium in ames, that would be sweet.

Hello again boys and girls...seems I have neglected to make an appearance here for quite some time, which I apologise for :-(
How is everyone, I hope you've all had a good summer?
I'm back at university now for my final year...I'm doing my dissertation on music for films :-). I'm going to learn a shit load this year, I just know it.
Also, I have two new guitars in my arsenal, an limited edition 7-string Epiphone Les Paul (with an EMG in the bridge for some reason) and a discontinued Ibanez SA360EX.
Anyways, I'm going to make a promise to become a regular here again!

Zenny - Man, some of your offerings I like, some I don't quite understand, but I get the impression you express your feelings and emotions rather than produce music for others. I sense a deep unease with life and feel a certain empathy with what I percieve as your troubled soul. Maybe I am talking crap but I genuinely hope you find the peace I think you are looking for.

Hey Marty!!! Congrats on school and yer new guitars!
T-Bones, Finally watching The Great Outdoors and just got to the "two pounder" bat part. lmao!! He walks in the cabin, the bat buzzed him, and he turned around and walked right back out. When they showed up in their "bat suits" and started bat fighting - omfg! I had tears running down my face and I was screaming with laughter! Now that was gad damn funny! Wavey just got home from work and I just rewound it and watched it with him and I got tears runnin' all over again. Holy shit that's feckin' funny! Thanks for the prezzie. I really needed that.
Working dayshift now. Bloody hell man, waking up at 5:30 a.m. really, really, reeeeeeeeeally bites! It doesn't feel like I'll ever get used to it, but I guess I will. Getting done at 3:30 rocks, but I'm to friggin tired to enjoy it yet. lol!
Anyways - hiya peeps!
LOVE YA JOE!

Hey Everybody!
First time poster, long time lurker ;-O
I've got a Joe story to share....
Last summer I snagged a piece of Joe's gear from San Francisco's Real Guitars. It's an old Eventide H3000 (V2.17) and it's sweeeet!
I was in the market for an old processor anyway, so when the Eventide came along I jumped on it. Given the nature of "collectibles" I took the claim of it actually being Joe's with a grain of salt. But the boys at Real Guitars seemed pretty sincere about its origins, and it was just too tempting! The Harmonizer did show up at my house loaded with a few interesting programs:
0) BAMBOO JOE
2) JOES BOP PLEX
3) JOES HONEYCOMB
4) JOES FAR AWAY
5) JOES ROBOT
6) JOES BATHROOM
7) JOES GARAGE
8) JOES BRIGHT RM
9) JOES SOFT FLANGE
10) JOES NEW AGE
11) JOES SHALLA BAL
12) JOES MOROCAN Rx
13) JOES SLOW C
14) JOES PWIM V RB
15) JOE'S 949
17) JOE DELAY 2
So Joe, if you're reading this (or any Joe-gear buffs for that matter), is this the real deal?? If so, I'd LOVE to get some history on the unit. As a gushing fan, any detail would be appreciated. Right now, my imagination is filling in the blanks..."Was it used on Flying in a Blue Dream? Was it a piece of road gear? Did Joe drip mustard from his bologna sandwich on it?"
Anyway, I'm stoked at the thought of not just owning, but using a piece of equipment that might have passed through the hands of a true master.
Take Care, Patrick
