HEEEEEEEEE,S BACK. unfortunately. Michelle, thanks for the good wishes, and Satriella thanks for the E-mail, we did'nt get to go to Orlando this time, we were in St.Petersburg for a week, then a place further south called Marco Island, but we've been to the theme parks before, and you,re right about the roller coasters you mentioned they're awesome. There's some good ones at Busch Gardens too if you ever get the chance to go there. Anyway we had an amazing time, and we loved Marco Island that much, we're getting married there next year. I did do one really stupid thing while i was there though, i went into a shop and there was a sign up that said WET FLOOR so i did.

Good Morning Satchland...... What's Up?

Hey everyone thanks for your comments on the JSX. I played one at Guitar Center at a real low volume and I was very impressed. It sounded really warm. The knobs are real responsive.... meaning you don't have to tweak much to change the tone. I cranked the gain knob on the Ultra channel and the guitar had that feedback sustain we all crave for. The note I played could of went on forever and I was just tickled to death. I can't find a pic of the back of the combo. Does it have a speaker extension jack on the back? I'd like to have a 2-12 cab on the other side of the stage for the bassist. Also, trying to decide on the head or combo. I have a Line 6 412 slant I could keep for the head or just sell everything and just go with combo(depending on the speaked extension Jack) What do you guys think?

My ideal set up would be : JSX head with 2 - 212 cabs ( keeping my Line 6 temporarily) or the Combo with the extension speaker.

A quick note: Now that I'm playing out live a lot I find my Pod set up just don't cut it. I have to change my patches depending on the club. I get a great sound in my studio but take out into an open room I lose all my definition and have to reprogram on the fly. You don't have that kind of time at a club and I've ended up playing sometimes with sounds that were't inspiering......and that's no fun. So I'm figuiring adjusting JSX in this sitch would be a cake walk. Plus with 3 channels It's all the tone I would ever need live.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Band update: We lost our keyboardist but we've found a new drummer and our first rehearsal is tonight. We also got screwed out of opening for Wishbone Ash. The promoter decieded go with a band named The Road Runners. I never heard of them and as far as I know don't have a web site. Oh well that's the music biz. ! ! ! ! Take Care

Keniko, that certainly sux... I hope you can get better gigs in the future...

As for the JSX, I tried it at guitar center(they let me crank it!!!) and I was speechless... I'm buying the thing as soon as I can, period... One word, versatile...
I'm not sure if you can get an extra cab out of the combo(it'd be sweet, though...), but it's a good idea...

I've read many reviews about the POD where people share the same frustration you have when they have to use it live... All those digital processors do that... I'd say don't use it for amp modeling nor reverb, just for the effects... I wanted to buy one of those so bad 'til I read the reviews... The POD is the best reviewed of all of them(zoom, boss, digitech, etc)...
