HORRAY

New Album !!!

Been listening to Paul Gilbert last few days and Arctic Monkeys - huh, what a combo.

Really enjoyed the last G3 with Paul Gilbert - first time I saw him live - he did great.

Cannot wait until you return live to my neck of the woods.

Happy writing (music, that is).

Hey Joe, how about doing this new album on different melodies found in different parts of the world.... there are various interesting tones and sounds out there which I haven't herd in any of your albums .. well may be a little in SBM..like belly dancer... but how about making this one just a bit fusion but.. still in it's core, a hard rocking album. Well anyways... what ever you decide to do with this album.. i'm sure it'll be brilliant as always... best wishes

P.S. When did Matt come out of his retierment.. or did he really retire.. I thought he went to Tibet to become a monk or something.. anyways.. good to see an old member returning

hey joe hows it goin?... Good to hear you`ve started on your next album, can`t wait for that one. Even better i can`t wait to see you live again,i saw you in Glasgow last june and it was amazing,i even got to say hi to jeff in the hall way.(i doubt he would remember though). My exact words were "alrite"!!.Then i said "that`s joe`s drummer",he just looked at me and laughed!haha. Anyway i have a wee question for you if you could help me out? What it is,is i`m doing my music Diploma at Perth rock school in Scotland,i play Guitar but over the past few months i`ve found my motovation has dropped and i`m not as keen to pick up the Guitar as i used to be and i`ve noticed my playing start to go down hill,my music and guitar means every thing to me without it i ain`t got a career. Please please can you give me any hints on how to get my spark back? yours in good health, love and music, Keith.

T2JERS: Any one heard from Mike? Let me know if'in' you find him. Now I'm STOKED Joe!!!!!

Suggestion for new album: Bald With Balls...just an idea. Or how about..."Cup of Joe" (got that off the burger king coffee cup.) Or maybe "Arto Joe"...I like that one. Joe skates, joe wears Etnies Arto sneaks...seems cool to me. All sounds gay when I read it back to myself. Anyway, rock on. Title, no title, who cares. As long as Joe and Jeff are on the album, it could be called "Flaming Pink Underwear" and I'd still buy it (with my wife at my side, of course.)

Hello Joe,

FYI, take a look at Derek Sherinian's album "blood of the snake". Did you hear that already? I want to pick the track #8 - Prelude to Battle – 2:55 (Sherinian/Tichy), it's with Y.Malmsteen and Jivan Gasparyan playing armenian duduk Interesting to hear your opinion. I can provide more info if you'll be interested.

Cheers, One Robot

Awesome! I can't wait till spring sad thing is we've just entered winter and its always the slowest time of the year. But anyway...all this talk of a new album prompted a cool creative streak in me. Using Adobe Photo Shop and a few pictures from here and there I created what I think is really cool idea for an album cover.

Not saying Joe should use this very album cover but i think the concept is really cool. I can only imagine what Joe could come up with if he set his engineers to work on this thing. Plus this just proves my devotion as an obsessed fan, Joe I spent 30 minutes on thing...just for you :-D

Joe Satriani: Creative Space

The idea came to me when I first saw his post about a new album. The original picture is a huge part of the Eagle Nebula called The Pillars of Creation.

So I thought it would be cool to have Joe sitting there in this Creative Space as if it was his own secret spot to retreat and create his masterpieces. Plus it fits with his otherworldly themes.

Just an idea I had Joe, I hope you like it.
