Hi Joe.
Hope you are well. I have just started to learn the Guitar. My hands are stretched and I have some experience with Chords and scales through playing Bass Guitar. I just need some advive on direction as I am learning and remembering most of the stuff I learn; I just can not seem to do anything worth while with what I am learning. As I regard you as an expert in this field; could you give me some direction; some advice On what to learn and the benifits. If I could; I would definately have you as my Guitar tutor, but I know that is not realistic. I just do not want to waiste my time learning musical theory that is not as important as what you might tell me I should be working on. Also: How to you get that sound on your Guitar in 'Flying in a Blue Dream'? That is the sound I am looking for.
BTW: I love litening to your music. It is a shame that Bethoven can not hear what you have done; imagine what he would say. I wonder if he would be amazed or shocked. You are definately one of the top composers of this time. I have deep respect for you and your music.
If you do not get this message. I still wish you and your family all the best.
God Bless you,
Paul.
