Hi Joe. Greatings from Denmark. I am a huge fan of yours and I love the music you make. I think your latest record is awesome. Your style, sound and methods is really inspiring. I would like to ask you if you were using your peavey signature head when you recorded Super Colossal?
I hope that you will do a show in Denmark in the future.

hey joe.
just a little story.
Got an js1000 guitar last christmas. one of the pickups turned out to be bad so i searched for a shop in my area, central valley, happened to come across a shop in san francisco. guy i was talking to on the phone was real nice with me, fernando, and told me that joe gets his guitar serviced here by Gary Brawer. kinda weird that i came across that, but really cool too lol. anyways he says he jams with you every once and a while. do you know fernando? well they where really nice and ordered a new pickup from japan... took a month to get it.

Zen:no worrys, misunderstandings happen, its the net after all & yup there is something incredibly spiritual about playing acoustic guitar in all its forms, it unclutters the mind, evokes the mind n spirit of people immediately & as you know when in the right hands has y fighting back the tears, kinda like a good scottish breakfast or should i say a heart attack on a plate lol.....however....a 4 year old male kid wants t make noise, his idea is t make unpleasant sounds t be heard.
I used t teach pro, never once had a boykid want t learn classical guitar, stick em infront of a Marshall full on n watch the smile! have t say the lil girls loved classical, learnt & followed my every lesson without question.I guess Jim Marshall recognized that fact way b4 me lol
Cube:Yer dead right, theres more important things t learn, like speed reading writing & scoring for a band, orchestra or both, i suck biggy at all of those, can do but at snail pace, infact slower than snail, 2 much time spent in the technique depo, i also have left that rather peculiar building

Hey, master of the universe, how are you, it's been a long time, sorry. I got something except I forget. Did you get from me Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine? Check it out, especially, the improvisation. I got more but did not write them down to be more lucid for the time being.

Hello all in Satchland
Throwing out to you guys for a little help getting the BEST backing tracks for the following list of songs as I'm getting ready to do a bit of a Joe show for family and friends over the Xmas period.
I've already got backings for 'em, just want to know if any of you guys have Really good clear tracks. Also, I'd welcome any comments concerning the flow of the tracks I've picked out, and if you feel as though I should include some other tracks and where to slot them in, I'd really appreciate.
Set 1 belly dancer - flying in a blue dream - one big rush - ten words - (you're) my world - always with me, always with you - hill groove - the forgotten part 2 - a love eternal - crystal planet
Set 2 if - hill of the skull - love thing - chords of life - starry night - satch boogie - oriental melody - summer song - until we say goodbye - surfing with the alien - into the light
The songs where I desperately need better tracks are flying, forgotten, planet, and I think that's about it off the top of my head.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Xmas & New Year.
And Joe, thank you for being. You are a true inspiration. Good luck with your new album, I hope it kicks arse!
Si

Someone had sent me a link to a short video of Steve Vai playing a triple neck guitar (from G3) a few weeks ago. After I watched that, I started searching for videos of Satch, and was surprised to find instructional videos, particularly on warmups, picking, and the importance of learning modes. The only problem was, as with any internet video, the quality was lacking. Is there anywhere I could find these videos for sale? I've already checked Amazon, and a few of the other usual suspects.
