Cosmic Ape:Bout time someone separated the players from the guitar holders & give credit back t those where its due, t put the likes of Holdsworth into the shred bag for eg is just plain insulting, unfortunately i,ve also been discarded as another shred basket case.

Hybrid pickin, sure, we have Scotty Anderson & Guth Govan at the helm, melody phrasing & note selection are key to these great players but sadly we see them categorized & stuck in the shred nut camp as well

Shred guitar is for the young & foolish, the likes of mentioned above deserve another name & place, for them its a form of art

Al:Ah you luck dawg, might have t come n shack up in yer back garden t pick yer brains, does yer Ma make a good Irish brecky

Michelle:Aye not long now hon

Zen:cool have y listened t Wes Montgomery yet?

Well lads, back from the UK, severely hung over despite not meeting up with Clarky. Also got a bug on the last day and plane feel like crap. The Gary Moore gigs were great but his highness would not grant me an interview, oh well, I will still respect his playing if nothing else... Took a sidetrip to Stonehenge as well, cool!! Best part of the trip, two nights of a royal pissup with Cliff Moore, Gary's younger brother and also a phenomenal guitarist, modern and fusioney. He lives in Weston on Super Mare and we decided (in a drunken stupor) to track down Ritchie Blackmore's and John Cleese's birthplaces. We were unsuccessful. Cliff shall email me some fotos of the houses and I shall photoshop myself in later bwahahaha

In general great trip but the weather was as nasty as RB LMAO......

What exactly happens with the premium packages for venues with no pit or seating?

is it like vai's evo packages where u get into the venue early and get to get a nice place before the initial crowd comes inż?

Things you can only say at Thanksgiving

01. Talk about huge breasts!

02. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.

03. It's Cool Whip time!

04. If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!

05. That's one terrific spread!

06. I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.

07. Are you ready for seconds yet?

08. It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?

09. Just wait your turn, you'll get some!

10. Don't play with your meat.

11. Just spread the legs open and stuff it in.

12. Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?

13. I didn't expect everyone to come at once!

14. You still have a little bit on your chin.

15. How long will it take after you stick it in?

16. You'll know it's ready when it pops up.

17. Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!

18. That's the biggest one I've ever seen!

Blue_Moon....... When booking the package you are allocated seat numbers row.A,B,C,D,E in the front stalls if there is no pit seating...... The last one I did, We where given our tickets on the day of the show, when we got there early...... we still had to come out and thenn go back in to get our tickets scaned but we where allocated the seating when booking...... Hope this helps.......

Trust me.... if you are thinking about it.... DONT Just do it..... It is worth Every Penny.....

Take Care, Dave

Im already getting the premium tickets for bristol Uk for the week before, i was able to pick seats for that and everything is aok, if u check the venue website on the road page for dublin you'll see the venue, theres balconys on the 2nd floor on the sides and backand standing downstairs in front of the stage, so for steve vai evos we were allowed in the venue early to stand wherever we wanted to before the show, and everyone was let in

but i kinda want seats for this one! but i was wondering how it works for this thing, both steve evo shows i was at was the same.... so i was wondering how Joe does it if there is no Pit or seats infront of the stagge, just to the side and back ont eh second floor, thats all!

anyone knows :) ?

joe, i think you are amazing. i've loved your work since surfing. now even my 15 year old loves your creativity. it was really neat, a couple of yeasr ago he made the comment to me about how so much emotion was expressed through music without words. i thought is was really awesome that he could recognize that at such a young age.

look the reason i'm here right now is because you've got to see this video on youtube. i'm sure you've heard about it by now, it's a month old. but just in case you, or some readers haven't seen it, it's at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nwFKkV9r6A. it is absolutely hilarious. i laughed by butt off. it's titled "joe satriani shreds".

the funniest ever. watch it.

Michelle, I vote fer he fell asleep whilst writing his Christmas cards to you and me ;))) But definitely asleep, those hats ain't worn just fer how fetching they are....they make a good eye shield, LOL!!!

Mckenna...for the unseated venues, standing room only....you get to go in early to have yer time with Joe and tour the stage, etc, then they make you go back outside to stand in line before the doors officially open. But all premium ticket holders get to gather at the front of the line, so you'll be the first into the venue when the doors open...depending on how far back in line of the premium people you are will determine where you get to stand at the stage. But you'll get in BEFORE the people (like me) who have stood in line fer TWELVE hours just to be up front. And yes, just so you know, all us regular ticket holders will talk trash about all you premium peeps, LOL!!!! Have fun ya Satch ho! :)

Mc, it looks like the only premium tix available are the floor ones....soooooooooo yer gonna hafta put up with standing for the show, OR buy two sets of tickets....a Club Joe for the meet and greet, and buy balcony tix to sit in.....maybe you could sell yer floor tix to someone? Just a thought, ya feck...I can't believe you can't stand 3 hours to be at the STAGE with Joe...OMG I'm usually on my feet fer about 12 hours total, when all is said and done, to see Joe and I'd do it every night!

FFS Mc!!! I'm more than twice yer age!! Take some damn vitamins or something, lol!

Mcfeely, wanna go to Ireland with me to see Joe? ;)
