Carlpenn-I used to have an S540 with a wizard neck and it was great. I would still have that guitar if it had'nt been stolen. Damn I miss that guitar.

Whammyfreak-Thanks for that link. The acoustic song got my attention.

Hey guys, I've just been having trouble with my JS1000. My whammy bar keeps fallin down! I changed out the white teflon washers like a week ago, and it seems like my guitar is eating them. I can get it to stay up sometimes for about 2 Satch songs, then it gets loose and it falls down again. Now it will just slip in and out, and i dont think thats suppose to happen. I'm hopin its not a problem with my guitar and just the washers, but if some1 could help me out that'd be great. TY, Another Faithful Satch Fan

Hello again every1! 2 messages in the same 4 hrs, thats new 4 me. Anyway, I was wondrin about the tour that Satch is doin, and how every 1 of his things start at 6pm. Is that right hen it starts or can u get there sooner? Cuz I live 4 hrs away from where hes comin, and I cant get my mom to take me if we're gonna be back at 3 in the mornng! So if someone knows, or if im lucky enough Satch could tell me, I wanted to know if you can just talk to him sooner than 6pm if hes just gonna be hangin around ur somethin? Joe - yee-haw, those samples show it's going to be another tour de force! Looking forward to the insight behind the songs. P.S Poor mike tho, sounds like he might have his work cut out for Musterion. Now all you need to do is play it live, back to back with Lifestyle... lol

Clarky - make sure you post tour dates woncha!

andy of Uk - if you hear anything back please let us know about a replay as like you say, typically there isn't one for that show

Cheese101 - it wasn't you (about struggling to listen to the BBC show) - it's just the way they set it up. For whatever reason they like you to listen through realplayer rather than be able to stream direct off the site or through a media player of your choice. My version of realplayer decided not to play ball, and by the time it had downloaded and installed I'd missed it... : (

Michelle - I did. It's big and round .... or did you mean look at the Blue Moon? The actual moon is really clear over here, doing a great job of lighting this room while I can't sleep due to the stupido wind that Al's already mentioned

Wench - when you click on post message (or edit your own) below the Message: box you will see a section of notes and the info on posting a link is there, hope that helps

Diguit123 - replacing the washers normally cures it. I think there's also an adjustment screw in the trem cavity. I'm no expert, plenty of guys here are, or you can try jemsite - there's a section specifically on JS's

ALL - just a random suggestion.... BBC TV has just bought the rights to air Formula One Motor racing again for 2009. I assume this means they'll need a new theme song (12 years ago when they last hosted it was Fleetwood Mac's "the chain").

So how's about we all post them and suggest using either an existing Satch track or for them to commission him to write something new?

Please drop them a hint here and select "Motorsport - on TV" in the comments section if you want to try and make it happen.

You may not be interested in the sport (I know how dull it can be!) - but having some Joe on the box at least once a fortnight, and most likely their website and radio coverage as well sounds good to me!

Have a great day all (and long weekend UK peeps)

Hi Joe I have never written anybody on line before, I have been afaithfull listener of your music since surfin came out on vinyl. I have allways been enamoured by the sound great guitarist, Jimi,Blackmore, Howe, Steave Morse,Beck,Holdsworth,Dimiola and the like, But I have never been stuck on any style of music or guitarist for any length of time untill you came along. Every album you make I love and I play more than any other music I own. The feeling that you invoke into your instrument is equally matched by your talent . Nobody does it better. I am from the bay area and now live in Modesto. I would love to see you recording in the studio or backstage sometime, could you help me out?

Hey, Joe! I'm coming to see ya in Chicago on April 5th. Coming all the way from Indianapolis, IN cuz you never come here :( Anyways, this time I said screw it. I'm making the drive and I'm gonna see ya for the first time. I can't wait till your pedal comes out. I would like to know what you think about Ibanez's new ZR trem. I just got a new S470DXQM blue. It's gorgeous but I think I will need to replace the pups. Can't wait to hear your new material. I really enjoy listening to your music. The melodies get stuck in my head and I go around singing guitar licks all day. People at work prolly think I'm a little bit crazy.....singing guitar lol. I'm looking forward to seeing Paul, too. He's awesome. Anyways, keep us rocking man.

clarrrkyy ~ your kind words are always hard to take in. hard to believe that a monster player/composer like yourself finds some good in the shenannigans i do with guitar hahah but ill take what i can get and thanks a ton man :) i got loads of new stuff. i'll share after i've annoyed you all with my senseless posts about the earth and the moon and why i don't eat cottage cheese.

chelle...i only have one pic from that show but damn is it an epic photo. i'd give anything to go back and relive that after show. Chris Brierre come around here anymore lately? I believe his handle was psycho monkey ~ i've kinda lost touch with a lot of the old crew. I miss the old time machine background lol I prolly mention that everytime i reminice (i don't know how to spell that word).

ok...that's like 100 words over my daily limit. anyone ever put icey hot on their tongue? yipes~

When my Father past away ,he left me his D-38(I think that's the #) Martin guitar co. built in the 1950's.He told me it was 500 serial #'s away from Elvis's Martin. It is an amazing guitar with tone that would blow you away.

I have heard that it could be worth about 10,000 or more.My father was really good friends with the CEO at Martin & Co in P.A. & that's what the CEO told him.........just a little rant....You know the old saying-"You get what you pay for"...

You won't be sorry if you pick-up a Martin. So save your quarters & nickels

Clarky:lol, Indeedy, the more the sillier, having fun makin this cd, its inevitable hicups are goin t occur along the path, specially pushin gear t do the insane, have t keep tellin myself, cmon slan its not fookin Nasa lol, good luck with Curse of the 9th Satan salad is excellent wicked job on the vocals btw fecken el, never been brave enough myself, dont like the sound of my voice one bit so the question begs t be asked....who convinced ya lol

Wizard:Thx for checkin it out bro, currently working on my 2nd cd, i,ll be gigin with this one tho.Its taken a lifetime t get my shit together but i,m ready t throw the meat t the sharks now i have my own take on music nearly nailed, the next few years should be interesting & yip i hear ya about cash lol, thats yet another reason i couldnt have done this earlier, i had t bust my ass for 5 years in construction t buy the gear i needed t record, wasnt that bad tho, well...i know how t build & renovate a house n have all the gear i need t rec, i think of it that way, i could complain about screwin up my hands for a while but whats the point, end of the day it paid off, laters

Cappy:lol nah quite the opposite, its a relief for the hands t slow down & concentrate on the classier aspects of tech like bendin strings & adding my own vibrato, its a balancing act really of knowing when & when not t play, i,ll try & explain, albeit in a slanshy way.If your technique is good you have total command over your instrument, technique is EVERYTHING, forget what the rest say, if its the reverse its sloppy.Technique has got a lot of bad press over the years, usually from silly old white farts that still cant play the blues & still hung up on Hendrix or 90,s grunge Nirvana heads so people run for cover when the word is mentioned

what technique is..is simply playing the correct way in order to achieve the best results...if ya get really good at it, no technique as technique is the result...anyhoos its all a lot of old toss at end o the day....if it sounds good it is good, i,m off for an afternoon beer, laters bro, slan chucks an ale t ya

Cheese:Happy birthday hon

jblaze:Couldnt agree more about Martins, but theres no way in a lifetime i,d pay more than 5 grand for any guitar, regardless of who owned it, how old or custom made, if i did the missus would change the door locks & some lol
