cosmic_ape: no way i,d ever go back t PC & windows now... also if you use VST plug ins, when y get a mac you can now convert them from VST 2 RTAS with fxpansion
that way all the fxs your used t working with on windows cubase, cakewalk etc you can now use with programs like Logic pro or Pro Tools on mac.....happy days
Ken:Check out this link bro, really is important if your a PT LE user

D# alt double flat 7 scale is spelled like this, D#, E, F#, G, A, B, C. The cool thing about this scale is that you can play a maj triad (D#-G-A) or a min triad (D#-F#-A). Also a dim7 (D#-F#-A-C) the min aug b9 (E-D#-F#-B). Notice how I lead off this chord with the b9 (E), but it can appear anywhere in the chord you like. you can also throw in the C for a maj 6th effect. When you move to the Dmaj it changes all the parameters and you return to the natural min for a nice effect. Capping the lick off with E blues (E-G-A-A#-B-D) gives a sense of resolve to the whole thing. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Joe, John!
COOL! think i'm first post on this....Just checked out the new Musterion site opening and everything is lookin' good!
JOE!,' just listened to i just wanna rock' and I'm digg'n it! Sounds like a little "Whole lotta rosie" AC/DC vibe in there, some SatchFramptone AND Satch shred! YES!!!!!!. I'll be interested in hearing about the singers on the i just wanna rock chorus. If the rest of the album is this cool its gonna be one hell of a ride!
Cool idea with the podcast updates too!

Satriella - Thanks for thinking of me. I pop in once in a while. Been really busy. Just not as much time to hang on the computer. I am putting together an original band. Hopefully, things will progress soon.

Slans....... That's way cool. Thanks for pointing that out to me. $40 to covert any VST plug in to RTAS. Talk about the flood gates opening. Whew ! ! ! !
Back to picking...... I practice, practice, practice. When I go from one excercise to the other. It takes a couple reps before my digits respond comfortably and then smooth sailing. Is this normal? Why can't I just pick up my guitar and play without my digits getting use to what I'm playing? Will time take care of this?
Zen...... Thanks for the friend request.....my friend. Glad to have you aboard.
Hey the podcast plays fine but can't seem to get "I wanna Rock" to play. Does it take a while to load?
Happy 1300 ! ! ! ! I feel like I'm 51.....not bad Eh?
Edit....I got the song to play. It Rocks ! ! ! ! Your cavities are not safe. I repeat.....Your cavities are not safe.
Vox Talkbox from Joe?....mmmmmmm

Ken:It is great news, i was really pissed when i realized i,d have t pay a small fortune for top notch plug ins, bad craic imo of PT
on pickin, i,d say thats totally norm, i mean i need 1 hour hard constant exercise b4 i gig or lay down a track, i guess everyone is different tho, i will say when i was playing 12 hours a day real complex lines, i could pick up a guitar at anytime & play whatever i wanted, whatever speed note perfect without a care of doin myself an injury, but then again i could because back then i didnt have a life lol
Great lyrics Joe "Matt is your dentist, i just wanna rock" lmfao
nice one mama M lol

Michelle - so I point at a pair of beautiful 7-string Morgan Customs and call out to the guitar tech "can you please get Social Injustice and Being Obscenely Rich ready for the show?"
naaahh ! ! ! !.. lol..
Slan - yeah that's the one I have to.. the dual quad Pro... jeez... what a machine.. took a look inside too.. it's a real work of art... the transition from Cubase to Logic was a little bumpy at first but I'm getting there... the more I find out about it the more I realise that I have to learn... it's huge....
I can though see it's potential... it's awesome...
Wizard - dude... don't take this the wrong way... but an Eb scale is not going to contain D# as the tonic, that's poor grammar.. the tonic will be Eb.. so the 2nd cannot be E, it'll be Fb.. and so on.. unless of course you rename the scale D# something or other...
