This is going to be pretty long. But I beg you, if you're reading this Joe, to read it.
Hey, my name's Brett. I'm only 15, but I was at one of your concerts while in the womb...I think that must've done something to me. I've always listened to your music. Even as a baby my Dad would always play it. He could play almost all of your songs. He'd always play Motorcycle Driver. It was great.
However my parents split when I was 5, and I went to live with my mother. I'd visit my Dad about once every few months for a weekend or so..Whenever I went there, he'd always play his Guitar, and I'd love to listen. You were his idol. He always wanted to be like you. He always wanted me to play Guitar too.
Now I always wanted to play like him, but whenever I picked up a Guitar, I didn't really feel it. Then, in December of 2007, my Father unexpectedly took his life at only 35. In his Will\Letter, he said (And I quote): "Brett, play all the music you can." I felt like it inspired to to play. Ever since that day I feel like I'm meant to play Guitar. Whenever I pick one up I feel like I'm in my own place, with my dad.
Now, Joe, I'm not all that great yet. I can't play any of your songs, but I plan on learning all of 'em. I've almost got the crowd chant. A nice one to begin with I think...
I just wanted to say thanks for inspiring my Dad and I. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be playing. I'm going to do everything I can do, and work harder than I have ever worked to succeed in this. This is what I want, and this is what I'm going to do.
So Joe, if you could just encourage me, in some way. Just a few words, please. It'll mean so much, and make me work even harder knowing I can do it. Thank you. Sincerely, Brett.

Tomorrow, i get as bass player a casting for the rock band of one of the more serious guitar players of my neck of wood. I mean, he goes until stage & cd. I mean, he's a pro & gets a circuit. Probably the best opportunity i'll ever be able to find here.
Fingers crossed. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the "welcome back" notes...it's nice to be here again.
Man, tonight was such a stressful one at work. I just had a relaxing weekend but I'm already in need of another...::sigh::
Let's see...I do have to say that I Just Wanna Rock is catchy. I haven't been listening to it too often, but it's been stuck in my head for most of the past two days. So that's cool.
But I also have to say that the small clips of other songs I've heard in the welcome video and the Vox Satchurator video blow IJWR away. So I'm feeling pretty good album the album. And about the pedal, well, MORE is awesome.
bluebuffalo - Cool...is I On U still Neal Schon's newest solo album? I love that one...Taken There is excellent.
Have you heard of Explosions In The Sky by any chance? I don't know how popular they'd be to Satch fans...they're instrumental; the band is three guitarists and a drummer. I listened to two of their CDs as I was driving near Santa Barbara. The ocean was to my left and the sun was coming over the hills to my right...beautiful.
...Austin...

@ Wizards Eye,
SuperStrings you're obviously from the U.K. What can you tell me about the Dulwich Picture Gallery? This guy says he want's me to be his U.S. representative. I know It's an email scam because I checked out the gallery and they don't sell anything. Is this a common thing in the U.K.?
Actually I'm "in" the UK but I'm not "from" the UK, and although I've been here a very long time, although I am "integrated" and although my son has a British accent, even though I know London better than Paris ("my" capital), I've never been even close to the Dulwich Gallery, I don't know what they're about or what they do or not do. Sorry!
Email scams are common in the UK but normally they're not initiated here, we receive them from Nigeria. I get them once in a while, like "sorry but could we temporarily place £10 000 000 on your account? Just for three days? We'll give you £3 000 000 for your trouble". Or "our records show that you are the last living relative of Nabango Olawotto, who died in a tragic plane accident. Since he did not leave a will, you are entitled to an inheritance of £25 000 000 (25 million). Please supply us with your bank account number, blah blah blah..."
I love them. Now you have to see this, and everyone else really must see it. I promise you will laugh til it hurts, til you cry. It's an internet game: scamming the scammers. There are lots of stories like that, but with this one you will almost piss yourselves laughing. It's called "the tale of the painted breast":

Fingers crossed, buddy. Wish you well.
Joe, very catchy indeed. IJWR keeps turning arround and arround my head. Can't wait to hear the whole thing. If it's so varied as you say, it'll be a great album. I love "Super Colossal", so it's a challenge to keep the standard.

Satriella - your post was "Talk to me?" You not heard of that song then? It's by this amazing guitar player....
Blue Moon - try this. Just be advised that you can't recover files to the disk you're searching. But as you're searching a memory card should be fine - set it to search the card and recover to C:\ - good luck recovery program
Joe - great track, thanks for the podcast and updates.
Webby - great work as always

Getting a replacement JS1200 next week. Since I ranted on here about the bad one, I thought I'd put this in the stream of consciousness.
People at the shop were super nice, agreed that there was a problem and even asked if I wanted to keep this one until the new one arrives. Which I didn't.
I'm still enthusiastic about the JS. I got used to its shape (it's just so natural), its shape fits me better than the RG's. With the smaller distance between the trem unit and the end of the body, the JS neck seems shorter even though the string lentgh is the same, and for a small guy like me it's good when playing in the first positions. I will always prefer the J.Custom neck and the old Wizard neck (pre-Wizard II), but for everything else the JS is superb for me. I even liked the way it sounded unplugged and the pickups are superb.
I just hope the next one will have all the same qualities, and no defect(s).
