PhilTheMetalhead - Ok....its your choice....but you have got it wrong....its a privilege to hear someones problems...believe me I have been an Agony aunt many times, and although the words are sad, its upbuilding to know that the person trusts you, and more often than not, just being there, or your replies, lifts that persons spirits....and that my friend is a very happy thing indeed.

I appreciate you probably already have peeps to be there for you....BUT the offer stands IF you are ever sitting at your computer and need to spill to someone there and then....feel free.

NJBeast - Oh my god....thats a hard one....aaaaaaaaaaagh....I do love the new one....but all your tunes are good Dave....I cant pick one....er......

ALL OF THEM....and thats my final choice! LOL

SteveeT - How are you doing now? Are you all settled?

Phyrdom - Same goes for you...hows life in the new flat? May be in the same situ myself soon...any tips?

MaxiMagnet - I really hope that Ebay guy hasn't run off with your money for Joes new album.....that sucks so bad...there must be something that can be done.....although until say April 6th ish....we cant say for sure can we....

AmirK - Please dont keep blaming yourself for anything....you are a hero...keep that in mind!

Hugs ya muchly all

Satriella xx

I've been spoiled the last few nights with Jon putting the webcasts up just shortly after midnight. I had to wait over two hours (ha!) this time, but the newest one is finally up...woohoo!

D_O_M - I imagine it'll be Matt Bissonette, since he played on the album.

michelle - I've been away for a while, so...who do you plan on voting for? And who's your favorite now, ahead of the nominations?

I'll likely vote third-party again, but if I absolutely had to go for a candidate from a major party it'd be McCain. I prefer Obama to Clinton but I wouldn't vote for either of them. And this has nothing to do with my reasoning, but their bickering back and forth is really starting to bug me...it seems crazy because I have this feeling that they'll end up as running mates. Anyway...

nivek9 - Hi...how'd you get into Satch? Which of his songs/albums are your favorites right now?
matt king - It's been a while since I've listened to any of your music...I'm digging through your new (to me) MySpace stuff...I like. I'll have more comments later.
marimariSRV - Good luck with your interview! :-)

hey austin, sorry to make ya wait tonight :} i'm waiting on a few final bits of tour info to be confirmed and then we'll have a new newsletter that will include a message from joe about the upcoming tour's lineup. stay tuned....

SustainedFeedback - i'll check, but we don't currently have plans to host any live bootleg content on the site. i do think it'd be a nice way to keep satch fans here on the site, but there are a number of issues that come into play that keeps it from being as easy as it might seem.

in general, i am just in the early stages on planning a migration to a completely new platform for satriani.com that will have a lot more community features integrated into it. nothing that will happen for a while, but it'll be really cool when it does, trust me :}

Hi Joe, Hi T2J-Community!

A little Question about your Trem Setting, Joe: Your Vibrato set up is floating to pitch the tone down and up, right?

On my Guitar I have a MM- Style Vintage Vibrato, and now I want to adjust it floating to get more options in my guitar play.

The question is, how high can you max. pitch the tone up using the whammy? Its important for me to know whats your opinion, because I want to get the right ratio between good ability to pitch up and low string action to the fretboard.

I think therefore I must adjust the Vibrato at the mounting studs with more Space to the body to be able to pitch up more, but how many? The Base of the Vibrato must be in Level to the Body, right?

OMG...my English is so bad, I think i must take a few English lessons again...after 16 Jears of graduate my School- English is blown away....;O)

Thanks for your request and many many greets from Paderborn, Germany,

Maik

Knight Rider and the Hoff were awesome.

They made a new Knight Rider show a few weeks ago - new car, new driver (son of Michael Knight) and Hoff made an appearance at the end.

Not sure if they will make it a series or not.

I'm 12 pages behind... still no time to catch up, but quickly...

Hi Tom Sr, how ya been!

Austin, I'm waffling between the democratic candidates. They're so much alike, but Hillary has more experience, and she'll have Bill as a back-up. Barack has a fresh outlook, and doesn't have the corporate yahoos in his back pocket funding his campaign. I took this short quiz, and got exactly the same percentage for Hillary as I got for Barack - 29.0 - The same! That was no help in my decision as to who I agree with more. lol!

Candidate Survey

I got 17.0 for Mike Gravel, 16.0 for McCain, and 5.0 for Ron Paul.

Let me know what you guys get.

edit - when you're done with the survey, you can click on the subjects where you have either a green check or a red x, and it will tell you the candidates opinion and how it differs or is the same as yours.

I can't even believe that the new album hasn't leaked yet. How is that even possible? Stuff leaks that's way more (and less) popular, also lotsa Sony stuff, why is this one any different? Just curious. Do they not send out promo copies anymore? Is radio play the criteria? It just floors me because EVERYTHING gets leaked, all the time. But not Joe, not this time.

I'm seeing Collective Soul in San Diego tonight...woohoo!

webmaster - Haha, it's all good... The webcast pieces look great, by the way...do you have more help, or a larger budget maybe? What's different this time around?

And I can't wait to see the new features, whenever they come...everything sounds pretty cool.

maritime - Sherlock websport? Hehehe...that sounds like it'd make an awesome band name.
megafaust - Your best bet would be to make it to the signing session, if one is scheduled. If not, try your luck politely waiting by his bus after the show.
emveegee - Contact the people who sold you the package...Etix or Fanfire or whoever it is (I'm not sure who Satch uses). They might be able to work out an upgrade for you.
Joe Satrini - Wow...I remember that interview. I think someone from that show stopped by T2J with a question or two and then it turned into a full interview.

YouTube is being mean to me at the moment, but I think this is the interview where Joe talks about filesharing and copy protection a bit, right? Man...so much has changed since 2002.

michelle - Your link didn't work...can you post it again as plain text? I can find other candidate surveys online but it'd make sense to go with the same one you used.

In a general sense I'm probably half conservative and half libertarian. I tend to lean libertarian when I vote because I feel it'd really shake things up and make people rethink everything if a third-party candidate were elected.

Phydeaux_3 - I'm glad to see that it hasn't yet leaked. I don't remember if SC ever did (I think it may have, but I stayed away), but I know the two previous albums were let out a few weeks early.

Also, in most cases (with music in general, not just Joe) I think the intial leak often comes from someone inside the record company and not a reviewer with a promo copy of the album. But speaking of promo copies...I work at a newspaper, so it probably wouldn't hurt to talk to the features department and see if they have a promo copy of the album. I doubt it, but hey...it doesn't hurt to ask and it'd be cool to have.

Anyway, in the past leaks have divided the fanbase here a bit so it'll be nice if that can be avoided this time around.

...Austin...
