PhilTheMetalhead - Well, my crazy work schedule probably makes it easy for me to talk to T2Jers who live in Europe. I just now got home from work, and your day is just starting. So maybe I'll make a habit of checking the chat room more often at this time of night (for me).

cheese101 - So, you have the book? What are your thoughts so far?
Crystal Jammer - Based on the samples and the podcasts I'd say the album has a SBM vibe. In addition to that, it sounds like there are hints of older and newer Satch in roughly equal amounts. I bet you'll be pleased with the album.

Joe : Diddle-y-a-Doo-Dat..

Talking about attack onto guitar rock under the sign of blue, there's for me 5 essential ones:

Beck, evh, srv, malmsteen & you.

After, a perfume of frippitonic can be welcome.

This also means that hendrix was here before srv, & alvin lee before malmsteen.

It's very subjective, of course.

Peace to you.

J’aime blues. C’est la racine de la musique que j’adore
I've always though there's a deep and mysterius connection between blues and flamenco, and it's not only the big amount of hair in both vids

Hi to Joe and the joey's (satch fans).
What great news to see Joe coming back to the Land Down Under.
Now I have more to spend the money I don't have on, but I'm just not prepared to miss it.
Wow, This has been great, Just seen / meet Paul Gilbert at an instore function. 2.5 hours of Paul and Backing tracks with the bonus of hand written exercises from Paul given to everyone present.
A Couple of weeks ago I took the family to the Ozzy Osbourne Concert in Sydney where Zakk Wylde was playing his new ZV Gibson this beast is a cross between a SG and a Flying V (I want One).
And now Joe's back.
Life is Good!!!

Ibanezguitar : ahahahair.. the deep connection of blues & flamenco.. i also feel it man, i also feel it. It's the same source, the pain & the misery of simple people.

But if Flamenco gets a whole expression of all human emotions under the same name, Flamenco, when blues changes his emotion, he changes his name, & is called rock, funk, jazz, punk, metal, reggae..

edit : impossible for me to talk about Blues without thinking about Howlin' wolf

Heads-up everyone! Marty Friedman has a new one out! Future Addict... check it out if you're a fan. I'm giving it a first listen right now, so far so good (so what? LOL). Nice'n'heavy! There's even a couple of Megadeth "covers" plus a buncha other "re-releases" of his older stuff.

Enjoy!
