Joe, Just bought Prof. Satch.( downloaded from Amazon.com) Just listening to it now - so far, so wonderful. Congratulations of being so awesome, and thank you. My question is this...Have you ever considered making liner notes available on-line for those of us who purchace and download your albums. Seems like that is going to be the trend for me anyway.

Thanks always, David Anthony

GREAT CD Joe!! I love it.

One thing that bugs me though.. whoever mastered it killed all the dynamic range dude!! WTF!?

Your music shouldn't be messed with like this. Too late for this CD but maybe next time you can look into this problem that is going on with pretty much EVERY CD getting released nowadays.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about .. everyone should check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gmex_4hreQ

Oh, by the way, here are two songs by CHUGGA CHUGGA, my band (I'm singer/guitarist).

These are demos, recorded in rehearsal for an album we are recording in May.

HANGIN' ON

I WANNA BE IN YOUR SEX

Comments welcome ! Especially about the lyrics, it is sometimes good to have english speaking people advice for that kind of stuff when you're french... Please tell me if there's any lack of meaning, grammar etc...

Edit : Joe !!! Check the solo of "I Wanna Be I Your Sex", it's done with a special pedal (3rd Hand Tone In Progress), which can control any pot of any pedal. Go get one if you don't have this, it's Fuuuuuuun !

Friendly, from France Beedoo

Don't know if you'll remember, but I was at the Rockville GC Session. What a night!!! Well anyway, I was the dude in the leather jacket, black Ibanez...took a 3-person picture, more specifically...it was embarrassing when I stuttered my screename, but it happens. Just saying, wonderful meeting you, and hope to see more gigs!!

chadley, stevee, joe satrini, Chee, & Big B., my daughter was just a bit freaked out, but the kids that were directly involved (threatened) had to be really scared. I hear the kid had anger issues and a short fuse, but threatening to come back and kill everyone is just - wow. Last I heard he was in jail and his bail was $50,000.

Hi Marty!!

Austin, I work in a huge ratail outlet for almost 13 years now. I was working pt evenings, but in October I went to ft days - and I'm STILL adjusting! lol! I used to stay up till 1 a.m., and now I wake up at 5 a.m. NOT my cup o' tea! They just reassigned us with all new jobs, and it's so much work! We do all phases of the merchandise from processing (getting it out of the box and ready for the store in the warehouse) to filling in the store, to running the register. My new job consists of being responsible for every pair of womans, misses, and petites capris, skimmers, bermudas, and shorts in the place - and guess what season it it. lol! Feckin thousands of pieces, hundreds of styles, and I'm somehow supposed to know it all. lmao!! It's hard mentally and physically (heavy lifting and climbing ladders all day), but most of all it's insane! Holidays and sales are a total vortex of suck and blow. I should have stayed in school! lol!

dakawan, thanks for the Philly review. I wanted to go so bad, but couldn't make it. Glad you had a good time :)

D_O_M, funny story!

al, thanks for the peanut head laugh! Have a beer for me.

Sandy, call the insurance company and see if it's legal that he takes you off. My sisters husband did the same thing to her, and he had to put her back on.

Sweet Jesus, it's the weekend and I have off!!

After meeting Joe the other night, I got inspired. I decided to try to create an mp3 from scratch of Musterion. I recorded all the parts in Pro Tools using my Korg Karma keyboard. Drums, bass, rythym and lead guitar. It's only partially complete, but I've posted the mp3 out on my myspace site.

I'm playing by ear and memory, so it's not going to sound perfect, but I think I did ok.

Come check it out if you want

michelle, sorry you couldn`t make it ,I t seems the manager at this GC was a bit more strict about things ,pics etc no filming or pics during performance ,not that i would be ,lol. I have to say the crowd was amped and around 3 in the afternoon the morale in the line was getting pretty sad as the cold started to set in so I backed my car into the corner closest spot so everyone could hear ,I have a really loud system in the car and had downloaded prof satch from itunes so i cranked it up to 35 and let the album rip and opened the doors and the rear hatch .Hell management and all the employees kept coming outside to hang out lol it at least helped pass the time and got people to get a sample and check out ghosts as well it would have been great to talk to you there fun day ....really it was

michelle - anger issues <_< man, i've got anger issues...so do alot of people but that don't mean you threaten others. hit a punching bag - yell at your mum - exercise till you are exhausted!! i'm glad your daughter and the other students are ok *hug* i don't think this guy should be let out on bail...he's the same guy that went in to jail...a few days in there ain't gonna change him...in fact a few years doesn't work.

D_O_M - Haha...that's not dumb; it's actually kinda funny...thanks for sharing. ;-)

What's your son's favorite Satch song?

testas - If I were in your situation I'd do everything possible to see the performance. Have you called the airline to see if they have any flights later that evening? If so, would they charge you anything to make a schedule change?

If you can't change the flight time, I'd try to figure out exactly how long it'd take you to get to the airport and then see how much of the Guitar Center gig you could watch.

Again, I don't know what traffic is like at/around the Seattle airport, but if you're at the airport by 7:30 p.m. that should be plenty of time if you're only flying to San Jose. So that means you could stay at Guitar Center until 6:45 or 7, which means you'd see the performance and part of the Q&A.

You're right about this setup being very cool. I went to one on Joe's Is There Love In Space? promo tour (click here for some pictures)...the vibe is awesome. Please make every effort to be there...

Pluvious - The "Loudness War" really stinks, I agree, but I still think PSATMOR sounds pretty good. I've heard other new albums that are much worse.
beedoo - Thanks for sharing your music. I like both songs. The band has a good sound; it's a nice cross between Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.

And there wasn't anything wrong with your lyrics...your English is just fine.

michelle - You make your job sound so exciting! ;-) Schedule changes can be such a pain. I've had four different schedules in the past six months or so. They've only been minor, a few hours difference on either end of the shift, but it stinks to finally get used to a new time and then have it all change.

I work evenings (usually 2 to 10:30 p.m.), so I usually stay up late as a result. How does it feel to know you wake up to start your today before I go to sleep at the end of my yesterday? ;-)

Hey all how's it going?

Just got my copy of PSATMOR (i know I must be the last one here eh?...lol) The CD has been on all morning and I have winamp stuck on loop!!! This CD is easily the best since Crystal Planet! All the others were awesome in between but this one just hit a high note! MAN!!!! Great CD Joe...looking forward to that video concert you talked about on Rockline can't wait...play Musterion for me!!!

Joe I tried to get through to ask you this question on Rockline but I was put on hold and never got to ask it, so if you have time do you think you could answer me this one question?

Whats your opinion on guitar bashing? and have you ever done it before?

Not like I'll be insulted if you have but, personally, I think of it as such a waste of a great tool of art...even if it's a guitar that was made by machines and 5000 of them are made every day...it hurt me to see Ynqwie smash up that one on the G3: Rockin' in a Free World DVD, I always fast forward past that part...lol

If you could answer just that one question, I would be so happy...thats one question I've always wanted to ask you. Thanks Joe, keep rockin!
