it's weird seeing 'Midnight' played on an explorer >=:o) i'm so use to seeing PapaHet playing 'Sad But True' on one...
when you went to the high part of the guitar neck the volume went a bit EEEE *loud* is that the amp?
i left a comment for ya >=:o)

Hi everyone.
Satriella, sorry to have read about the rough time you have been having,I have two daughers from a previous relationship and when my ex clicked that the best way to hurt me was to make it as hard to see them as poss thats what she did, resulting in the older one resenting me and allowing me little or no contact to the younger one.
In the end you can only stay true to yourself and hold your own head ,high as hard as it may seem there is light at the end of this very long and dark tunnel, hang in there, you truely have alot of love and support from the good folk on this site, take care.

How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb?
One to change it and ten more to say they can do it faster and better!

Keniko - Do you have any pictures of your SWTA mural? I remember you talking about it a while ago but I don't think I've ever seen what it looks like. Well, I know what it'll look like...but you know what I mean. ;-)

Bigbunny, Thank you, hmm, it was recorded on a mic on a lap top, so the quality was a little messed up. It either didn't pick up soft sounds, or distorted some of the notes T-T.
I'm going to have to remake it some time soon.

MikeSB - hey bro.. I only found out about the alloutguitar thing yesterday... I must remind myself to thank Rory..
Questions..... lol..
will allout be at LGS this year??
and are you coming over for it?
Slan - me in a pink kilt??
how... the fuck did you know I had one... ???
Joe Satrini - dude... I've not got PSATMOR yet.. simply not had time.. and if I did get it right now.. I'd not have the time to give it the listen it warrants.. that said.. in a few weeks I'm going to take a drive down to see my uncle Stephen.. it's 100 miles each way... so... I shall have a copy for the trip...
so for the trip I think I'll be listening to PSATMOR, and maybe my uncle's CD's too - especially the CPE Flute concertos he did [bit of a mean flautist is me unc..]
no gigs outside London yet.. just the one booked so far... as it's our first so we'll see how that goes before we adopt a 'gloves off' mentality and go play everywhere...

Keniko The knobs on both amps are very responsive. Both a blessing and a curse, because sometimes that magic tone is at around 4.97 here, and 6.2 there. As for effects, I'm very sparse on them. I have some, but for none other than entertainment purposes. I don't write with them, nor do emphasize the use of effects. They hinder my creativity. Sometimes they can add a special touch etc of course, but for the most part, it's hard to adapt a pedal to your sound instead of letting it make you adapt. You know?

Hey Joe. My name's BT and I'm a musician in Minnesota. I'm not active in the industry yet, so I don't have any connections. I've been a fan of yours for several years, but I'm not writing as a fan. I am interested in having a professional/business discussion with you. If you have a moment, could you please let me know who I need to contact within management (if not you yourself)? Thank you very much!

Joe - just wanted to send a VERY BIG thanks for the incredible GC session in Chicago. What superstar does that? I was blown away at how nice, inviting and thoughtful you were. I only wish it lasted a bit longer ! I never in my life thought I actually get the opportunity to meet you, shake your hand and get a photo with you ! It was truly a wonderful experience and I just wanted to extend my thanks & gratitude for the time you took out of you schedule to do something like that. Thanks also for allowing us to take photo's - it's great to look back and remember the experience. Also, love you new album ! You never fail to amaze me. I can't imagine the process it takes to get an album out..all the studio time, schedule setting with the band, etc...Thank you, thank you, thank you. Before I sound like a crazed fan, I again just wanted to thank you and congratulate you on your new album..and career. Looking forward to the next show !

Blue Buffalo, yep, that was me and Chris at the front of the line....u shuda stopped and said hey!
Just got back from GC with Joe in Clackamas....holee gawd it was so wonderful to connect up with Joe again in person....he was fantastic as always, played incredibly, talked and taught and shared so much...then had about 400 people in line for autographs afterwards so no time for photos...but I did take some during the event and got some (I hope) great video, so once I get home will post stuff up.
Mahavishnu Brian, and wife....nice to meet you, sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with the wife but she's lovely!! And even better that she's a big Joe-fan :)
Chris got to ask the last audience question, so he asked Joe about the song Ghosts, what was his inspiration for that...Joe said he was the first to ask him about it, so that was cool...he talked about thinking about meeting up with a ghost and what it might make a person feel like....that he's never actually seen a ghost or met an alien but he writes about them all the time, LOL....and that actually, with the special pedal he used, he loved that little phrase in the song so ended up choosing it for iTunes as the bonus track. Geez, there was more he said but I can't write it all...one guy made the comment that Joe is the new "classical music" of our time, which I think touched Joe.
Oh, and Chris won one of the prizes in the drawings, a new Joe-strap that he didn't have yet, cool!!
Got a chance to chat with Mick, say hey and be careful out there to Mike who was very smiley....and got our Joe-hugs, which I can say....I needed in THEEEEE worst way...thanks Joe.
If I could, we'd head north to Seattle to do it all again tomorrow...but I really can't afford it....we got to GC at 10:30 this morning and $600 later were finally standing in line before 1:30 to see Joe at 6.....Chris spent all his monies ffs...such a dangerous place to hang out, lol!! I can't imagine taking him to yet another GC, Seattle.....my purse coudln't take it!! Wonder if I could leave him here and go by myself.....
There's something so uplifting about just being in the same room with Joe...he exudes happiness somehow....and I plugged into it and took as much as I could. It amazed me that I could actually have feelings of happiness tonight...it's been a long time, and still tough times ahead, but a dose o' Joe helps bunches.
Thanks Joe....can't wait to see you out there again some day....and Chris is so excited about his opportunity with you coming up...just whenever you have the free time, no hurry :)
