Midnightexplorer.......Great Job and nice work. For playing only a little over a year you're well on your way. Midnight is not an easy song to play. Keep it up and good luck.

Have A Great Evening Everyone ! ! ! !

Pluvious, everyone You may have already seen this but Joe talks about the Loudness War in this Guitar Center Session clip at around 5:25, so yeah, he's aware of the Dynamic Range issue, but it almost sounds like its out of his control....

Yea the V3 is fantastic, but it's just a little touchy. I've played both amps fairly extensively and I liked the more user-friendly knob layout of the JSX, and its tendency towards a good tone. The V3 requires a good deal of tweaking to get in your specific sound. Very worth it, but that's if you get there. Just too many unnecessary knobs IMO. Both have clean channels to die for though. The satchurator IS really cool. And what was the pedal Joe had for that "broken" sound? I LOVE that sound.

Wolf2. From what I could gather from what you said, I don't think we need to know.

Anyway, you can find the places by going to road.

Hi Joe. I just got my presale ticket to see you again and I am looking forward to it very much. I had to go through a total nightmare to get the ticket because venuetix forgot to send me my newsletter otherwise I would have had the presale ticket yesterday at 12 noon. A lot of emails and phone calls and stress has now got me the ticket. Im hanging out to see you rock Adelaide again. You have become one of my favourites and I think you are brilliant. It is amazing what you can do with your guitar. I have seen you play a few times now over the years. From Mara.

Hey... nobody told me there was a BEARD contest! I'm getting in the top three at least for sure! Been growing that puppy non-stop since Halloween. I do that every year, I hate shaving so I only do it for half the year, I grow my own scarf for the Winter. But then I can't stand sweating in the beard so come Spring and off it goes!

Hey Joe, you were on fire at the Guitar Center in San Fran!!!!!

I think you ended it perfectly with Satch Boogie!!! In case you remember, after you played Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat, I yelled, "Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat!!!" And you played a little riff from it. You were just like, "I knew someone would call me out on that. Haha. You rock!!!

Joe, you were sooooooooooooo incredibly awesome at Guitar Center in Hollywood last night!!!! It was very exciting to meet you again. I was "The Jello Guy" hahaha. I'm sure you remember the story behind that. Thanks for the very insightful clinic and the awesome songs that you played. Your new album is truly a masterpiece(what album of yours isn't?). It's really neat to meet someone who I admire a lot, especially when they are super nice like you are. You are an unbelievable musician and a great person; I'm glad that you are so patient and kind to your fans. Anyway, have fun on the European tour and I'm looking forward to seeing you again during the summer when you come to L.A.!!!!!!!

Back to electro-accoustic this morning.. & i have to conclude that all these struggles onto electric guitar & electric bass pay. My electro sounds electro.

I get a band as bass player.. cool.

good day.

M'gonna to mix a new song directly inspired from last Joe album : Bare Bones at the Edge of Town.

webmaster - Yes, I saw myself on the bonus DVD...thanks for including that; it was a nice surprise. :-) How did the rest of the performance footage from the SWTA shows turn out? Is Joe happy with it, and do you have any idea if more of it will be released sometime in the future? It'd be awesome to have video of Crushing Day, Hill Of The Skull, or Echo since those songs aren't played all that often... Is Joe happy with the rest of the footage?

And I didn't plan for this to happen, but I ended up wearing that same Satch t-shirt from that Roxy interview clip to the Hollywood GC performance and a few fans waiting in line recognized me from the DVD. I felt like MegaBoyd with his "Surf With Satch" SkyLiner toy from the LISF DVD for a minute... ;-)

And lastly, thanks for adding the new songs to the setlist tool...

Zinc Master - Buckethead isn't an "alter ego" of Paul Gilbert or any other famous guitar player. His real name is Brian Carroll, but I think the only thing that links that name to the guitar is a short writeup and photo that appeared in a guitar magazine at the start of his career.
fsantimauro - On the podcast for that track, Joe mentions that he's aware of the misspelling.
michelle - That place looks pretty cool...I love those old theater-style venues with the high ceilings. I don't know what it is about them, but the sound is always excellent. They don't make 'em like they used to...
lazermario - Ah, cool. I loved video games when I was younger, so of course I was a Super Mario Bros. fan. But for whatever reason I didn't see the movie until well after I had become a Satch fan. Sometimes I wonder what my reaction to that song would have been had I heard it a few years earlier, before I knew who Joe Satriani was.
Joe Satrini - I'll update my setlist here on the site sometime later today. I'll post another message when I do that.

But really quickly, from the new album I'm hoping for Musterion, Revelation, Out Of The Sunrise, Asik Veysel and Andalusia.

When I met Joe at the Guitar Center in Hollywood, I told him that I thought Out Of The Sunrise could be his next Cool #9 in a live situation...meaning it'd be great to stretch that out into a 10- or 15-minute jam that's a bit different every night. He told me he was thinking about it...so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Anyway, what about you? What are you hoping for in the set list?

Joeman9 - Awesome...thanks for sharing your videos. :-)
savoie2008 - That's a pretty solid playlist...a lot of those songs go together quite well.
BigBunny - The Club Joe package "upgrades" will likely be just like all the packages in the past, with all the perks, except they'll be about $25-$50 cheaper because they won't include a ticket (because you've all already bought them since they've been on sale for a while). There's nothing to be paranoid about...it should be an easy process.
Sobelanli - Thanks for stopping by the site. Do you know if there are any CDs available for purchase that contain any of Asik Veysel's music?
RockMeJoe - Richard, it was cool meeting you at Guitar Center. Keep in touch...it'd be nice to meet up again at the next Satch gig in the LA area...
ratiug67 - Joe visits the chat room on an occasional basis. I caught him in there a few times back in the SBM and ITLIS? days.
Well, I still have two pages or so to get through but it's late and I'm tired. I'll get to them later...

Good night, everyone...good morning, michelle. ;-)

...Austin...
