Do The Stu you'll be happy to know i've put New Day back in my setlist >=:o) i also replaced Super Colossal with Overdriver so that i have half of the new album in my set :)
it's wierd everyone seems to be liking 'Asik Veysel' and 'Andalusia' the best, and though i like the songs and i think they are great...Satch really lets rip on em. with 'Andalusia' i want the acoustic guitar to keep going...it's like NOOOO only 2 mins, don't stop there Joe! >=;) it's great how his guitar comes in and blows the acoustic out of the way but the acoustic is my fav. bit of the song...i already said that right?
anyway, my 3 favs. in no order are - 'Musterion' 'Revelation' and 'Out of the Sunrise'.

Nice vid chelle, love that whole movie of Joe, love that album.
Austin, I'm slowly working my way through Ghost Riders....it's very difficult as I'm still gutted completely raw....but it's very good and thanks again for the recommendation....and to my chelle for sending it to me for my birthday.
So here's a whole buncha stuff over at Musicians Friend.com about Joe...he's gonna be on the cover of their May catalogue and if you look down on the right, there's several videos to watch, including a photo shoot with Larry DiMarzio that's really cool....
here :)
What I especially love about this series of videos is....you get to hear Joe playing some stuff we haven't heard before, and even he says he likes having his guitar and amp at these photo shoots because new ideas are often born there :)
Oh, just found this short Namm video
Lovely Joe :) Bet yer getting ready to leave for Portugal eh? Please......travel very safe, all of you....and some time, when you have the chance, maybe you can tell us all about the All Alone video
I'll maybe see you in Ireland, for the Dublin and Belfast shows Joe, if my heart lets me get on the plane....I won't be staying at Blooms after all, but found another hotel. Have a wonderful run in Europe!!

Do the stu : she plays well. I didn't know.
Slan : found that yesterday. This should give to you some cool souvenirs.. Have to say that the two fingers of Jeff Berlin are scaring... & also the killer Vinnie Colaiuta, already seen in the past with a certain Zappa, & now with a certain Beck.
Cube : i'm mixing the "Variation from House Full of Bullets". The prob is my mail box is broken. Do you want to download it via myspace?

Zen>yeap that takes me back t college days, i used t own every tuition vid i felt of use, i owe a lot t Mr Berlin & Gambale & btw i,ve been using a rag round the 3rd fret for playin solos the last 25 years, over ADGBE & under the low E, pain in the arse when y need t play open strings, especially mid song & the cloth gets stuck around fret 2, must get me one of those Batten string dampers, they really do wonders for fast clean passages, especially if like me y prefer a string below the fret action
Its another case of taking an old idea from another & making cash out of it, however i feel it couldnt happen t a better musician, Batten is brilliant plus she evolved the idea great link & thx, expect t see me with one!

do the stu- yeah that girl can play but i don't think shes ready for the big leagues. at the risk of being repetitive, i think the best guitarists are ones with some jazz background. i have seen some really good guitarist mentioned here. have you seen this guy?

Hi Joe, thanks for the lessons on youtube. I really appreciate it. If you have time, please keep posting them. Your guitar tone on Crystal Planet is great, it really sings. Your playing on Crystal Planet seems like you were not just playing fast, but there is a lot of melody to it. Do you concentrate on that aspect more as you write, or is it happening naturally? One last thing if you don't mind, what would you suggest for new pickups to intall on a 2 humbucker Fender Showmaster guitar I'm currently re-vamping for my daughter? She loves the sound you got on Crystal Planet. Thanks, Kevin

Zen...chimps evolve real slow, TV & bad radio is the crime, however Batten learnt a lot under maestro Jeff & she evolved for sure from the experience....i wonder where music takes her now?... the damper idea will sure give her money & time t ponder where next
