cosmic_ape - I guess so. Doesn't look like the site has been updated since February. I'd rather submit an original, not a cover. I'll just wait for the next one.

Cosmic-ape:DotheStu: Thanks guys! I will be better in a couple of months. My doc gave me papers so I can go back in May, but only for lite work. No standing. I use a cane now, maybe perminent. I do get to work on some songs........No idea how I'm going to get the cool new stuff Steven is working on......but don't fret-no pun here- I'll find a way. JOE: Sorry I missed your rockline show....I'm sure you understand. After hurting your toe awhile back and having Pneumonia, what's alittle blood posioning !!!! Digital sales have been brisk enough for ATN and we have doubled the hits on our lullaby song just in the UK alone! See, somebody loves us out there.........

Joe's new album PROFESSOR SATCHAFUNKILUS AND THE MUSTERION OF ROCK debuted on Billboard's charts this week at #89 in The Billboard Top 200! Over on the digital side of the fence, Joe did even better according to "Billboard's Top Internet Albums" he's at #20.

Big congrats Joe....u deserve it and much more!!

And thank YOU for doing the Guitar Center clinics....you do those for free, you don't have to do them but there you were anyway....and so many people got to see you who'd never had a chance before....I kept hearing the same comments over and over.....they were just blown away by you and the chance to not only see you perform live, but listen to you share guitar wisdom, and then to get to meet you in person, icing on the cake!! One nice young man, his mom and a friend of his were in line right behind us for many hours in Clackamas....and I saw them afterwards too....his eyes were just HUGE when I asked him how he liked it...he was stunned, lol!!! He also got to buy the cab you played on that night, and you signed it for him....his JSX head is coming....that is one lucky young man who also has stars in his eyes because of you. Hugs Joe, you're the best!

Hey Joe, Great new CD. Thanks. Glad to see you back with Matt. You guys hit another one out of the park, as usual. But, you know, I was thinking about what your fans would like in addition to the standard CD format. Of course there's the DVD videos that do well. But I was thinking about a DVD that has all the background tracks for all us guitarist who live and strive to be like Joe. Wouldn't that be great to purchase a DVD companion to the CD with tracks before the mix and perhaps some tabs in various formats. Probably worth $50-$100 I would think. Just a thought. Have a great tour over there in Europe and beyond. jsfan204

Ms San Diego - You should be able to buy Australia tickets from the US without any problems. I don't know if you'll be able to order them online, but if you call the venue they should be able to help you out.

And I assume you'd be making the trip mainly to see your friend in Australia, right? Because Joe will be touring the US later this year...he'll likely play San Diego, as well as Anaheim and/or Los Angeles.

Keniko - Thanks for the link...sorry, I didn't realize it was posted here on the site. ;-) The mural looks good... About how big is it? 8 feet by 20 or so?
cheese101 - I think it'd be good for you to take the trip to Ireland. If you're worried about staying safe on your own, maybe just stick to a short trip, like 3 days, and just catch one Satch show instead of two?
PhilTheMetalhead / castle49 - Rockin' in the Free World is a song by Neil Young, from the 1989 album Freedom.
DO the DEW - Hi...welcome to the site. Your username is half of what inspired mine. ;-)

Any chance you would ever do a show here?!

Cube - I'll give it a shot.

T2J'ers - Along with sending in an original, maybe I'll work on my own cover of one of Satch's songs. Any recommendations? I'd rather not do one of the common Satch songs, I'd like to go for something that you don't hear all that much.

big bunny - thanks for the info on Freo. I really enjoyed spending time there and in Perth. Just chilling by the harbour at Freo was cool (apart from the hungry Pelican!) so would be great to come over for the gig, although it looks like the air fare is going to scupper that idea... not set in stone yet though

jblaze - sorry to hear about your dawg. Losing a member of the family is always tough.

Zincmaster - thanks for reminding me of that test. It's annoying all my workmates now, perfect : )

Do The Stu - aw cripes, how do I pick a set list out of all that mastery? I'll have a think and post one, but I think it might take me a while. As a great source of satch facts can you (or anyone else here) answer this one.... been watching the AWMAWY video a fair bit - who's the peeps in it?

Jeff on percussion, Stu?? - bass, ??? - rhythm guit?, pretty lady? I obv only paid attention to the Joe bits before instead of taking it all in so now I'm curious

Clarky - I thought you said you were a fan LOL well, I hope you do get some gigs going outside of London! Expect there'll be a few of us from here checking it out. Musical family all round then?

Cheese - thanks for sharing the story, sounds like a great time! You should deffo go to the gigs, Big Al can look out for you.. you'd do that wouldn't you Blue Moon?

webmaster - thanks jon. The latest one came through fine without me changing any settings. I'd already checked spam before posting so I guess my ISP goofed.... Thanks for the confirmation though and the great work you do for us Satchaholics

Satriella - has the nagging paid off yet tho? Hey? Well?

Wasp2020 - great find, thanks!

Joe Satriani - are you going to release "Framptone"? Funny guy as always!
