You have the energy of a 15 year old but have the knowledge of a person whos played for a million years. You truly are my idol for that.

I saw Dream Theater's Progressive Nation tour in Universal City last night. Does anyone else have tickets for this? DT, Opeth, Between The Buried And Me, and Three... EXCELLENT show. And I got to hear Blind Faith, my favorite DT song, so that's awesome.

alexandrecaetano - Thanks for telling us about the concert...it sounds like it was amazing. It's good to see Crushing Day is sticking around, at least for a bit. And then there's Time Machine? Crying? Ghosts? Awesome.

Blue_Moon - Yeah, that version of Little Wing is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing it.
LucySorets - Hi...don't be a stranger. ;-)
Guitarman77897 - I think Joe checks up on T2J fairly often...he just rarely posts.

To get pictures off your phone, there's probably a way you can send them to an email address and download them on your computer.

migupais - Thank you for sharing a bit about the Lisbon show, as well...it's always nice to read reviews here.
BigBunny - There might be a few more songs you haven't heard. The original version of The Power Cosmic? Talk To Me? Those are from early in Joe's career and aren't really available anywhere. I have MP3s of them somewhere on my computer...if you haven't heard them let me know and I'll send them your way.
cheese101 - Thanks for finding those YouTube videos. :-)
michelle - Hehehe... The executive director of the Port of Long Beach is named Richard Steinke. Our port reporter knows him pretty well, and every now and then he'll get less formal in his writing and call him Dick. I have to make that change in his stories every now and then...Dick Steinke isn't really something I want to see in the paper.

Cheese,
Thanks for telling me I won the aftershow passes, I really didn't know before you told me. Now I've checked my email and there it is, the confirmation email
I'm blushing and feeling a bit ashamed for being so lucky.
I just can't believe I will meet Joe after the show.

Joe
Although I've seen you before on stage, I've never had the chance to meet you personally, so next tuesday it's the day. I'm looking forward to it

Lucy, Roy, Alexander, see you pretty soon

Hey Joe (and fans).

I just love the story from "I just wanna rock", about a robot lost in a rock concert and after seeing the scene, it starts to rock on.

Well, a couple of days ago I could only tough about it as based on sci-fi ideas (Asimov's Robot's Dreams and the like), but today I found this very impressive news.

Asimo, Honda's humanid robot is going to be directing the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, as well as cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

Alright, is not rock, and is only trained to move as a director, but still.

So Joe, is it worth to ask Asimo to rock with you? :).

Cheers from Costa Rica. (fell free to drop by, BTW)

Hey Joe whats up? :)

I was just in my basement recording a song called "The feeling of rush", and it kept me thinking about how you make your songs. I saw your documentary Reel Satriani: it looked like you weren't satisfied about the makings of Luminous flesh giants, you weren't satisfied until it was right for you. I learned alot from that. Last, i want to say that you are a true inspiration, and if Jimi was alive he would have been proud of you.

Thank you Joe

Norway, Navid

I've got an Strato deluxe with humbuckers and a line6 amp, and i've been trying to get your sound, but i can't find it. Could you tell me what effects and so would you recommend me to put?; I have a boss ds-1 and a wah-wah, specially for the song Always with me, always with you, which is the one that i'm trying to play. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my parents. It means so much to me.

I woke up this morning with Yes We Can floating around in my head.

I Believe = Joe Satriani

Go Forward = Christopher Reeve

Yes We Can = Barack Obama

all = HOPE

They're just words, but sometimes words resonate so loudly and mean so much. They lift the spirit and restore hope.

Hmm, a bit heavy for Sunday morning, so here's MORE COWBELL!
