I see your point, an even agree to it.
Beck has reached maturity, as Joe is reaching it. Both have had the time, which is not only luck, but steering his lives with a solid head over their shoulders.
Jimi was not able to take the oontrol of his live, and was driven by the showbizz industry that sucked four years on the bursting explosion of his talent.
Another genius with a ruined personal live was Robert Johnson. If you take into account his value as a person, you will not consider him a Master (I do not either) but we cannot deny his musical influence and mastering for all modern guitarists (only musically speaking)

Guitarman,
"All along the Watchtower" is one of my fav, although it's a Dylan tune. Hendrix cover is one of the rare covers that surpasses the original version. I do love "Red House", "Little Wing" among others

Ibanez : i'm very glad we finally met ourself on a solid point.

Pretty Cappy : i get one for you.. debate & knowledge is something we share. Vision, something you have to bear alone.

Castle : yeap.. even if Jimi hated his own voice.

I remember that the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart has been an attempt to go beyond Yardbirds, Cream, The Experience.. but it not really worked..

The Bomb has been Led Zeppelin... Plant & Bohnam have chosen Jimmy Page..

and MC-5, Deep Purple & Black Sabbath.

So Jeff Beck is gone onto instrumental way, innovating with each album. The electric guitar player.

In 78, all has been exploded.

& now, Beck is still here.

I love Joe & Jeff. But not at all for the same reasons.

To me, as for the Cube, the Maestro is Beck.

Fair enough.

The Jeff Beck Group. Saw them.

Too bad about Hendrix. It was the time. He did not respect his own gift. Sad.

Beck keeps getting better.

Joe Satrini - I have a question for Satch, if you wouldn't mind asking... Why did he choose to team up with Vox for a line of pedals? I could see him going to Vox for a wah pedal, but I would have never expected an entire line of pedals, just seems to deviate from his usual selection of pedals.

I have two auditions for two different bands coming up that I'm really excited about! It'll be nice to take a break from my solo project and start playing with a band and playing live again. Wish me luck everyone!

Savoie : We were just talking about an older generation of players. Stevie was a great blues player, very great. & a great singer too. He was full of fresh ideas about Blues. Crap, very crap helicopter story.

I agree whole heartedly about SRV. Having only recently started listening properly, he comes across as having that characteristic that many lack--'soul'. Great guy...=D

Hola Seņor Satriani :)

Feel,... love,... and live every single note we get from your precious gift. Thank you for sharing it.

Best regards from your audience at Morelia, Michoacan, MEXICO.

This is my first post to the forum.

As you know, we are now warming up engines awaiting for your next visit to our country. Have been ready for a while now to make the 200 mi trip from here to Mexico City to reach you.

I have a deep doubt I expect the webmaster, someone in your staff or near you could dissipate:

Your tour schedule includes two mexican show dates (August 12, 13 2008), nevertheless, Ticketmaster is advertising only one of them (August 12). Customer service informs that the show promoter has confirmed only the first and not the second date. So, will we be able to see you twice or only once here?

Thanks and blessings to you and your audience all around the crystal planet ;)

Ismael.
