cool metallica link michelle, they were awesome when i saw them at the nec just after the black album, and i saw them at donnington, remember lars then saying to the crowd 'ive just got one thing to say.......' 15 minutes later metallica resummed their set. i think you can hear someone say 'just get on with it ' on that clip. white zombie stood out at that donnington, they were a bundle of pure raw energy.

...just coming back home from California... kind of a long day, long flight and two hour drive home from the airport... I had such a great time though...

Slansh, you are too much of a guitar player to be entering this thing anyway... Kids with no real experience like me are ok, lol... you didn't say if you had the chance to check it out, though

phil, nice pics bro! I hope I'll get more chances to meet JOE now that I'm moving to LA...

I'm off to bed, I checked my "guitar idol" page and I have the astounding amount of 10 votes!!! yay, only 3,990 more to catch up with Gustavo Guerra!!! lol...

Oh wow. I've got a serious case of Satchafunkilitis - I must have caught it on Thursday at Manchester apollo. I must have stood too close to Joe. Maybe it happened when I slipped my arm around him when we were having our picture done together? hmm, all I know is I have had this seriously strange smile on my face ever since and I keep on laughing! Its like an addiction but yet it feels soooo goood! - anyone have any similar symptoms?

Joe - wow, you guys were even better at Bournemouth. I wonder what tonights gonna be like, do you have another level after that?? Strewth....

Webmaster - hi jon, got back from the Bristol gig in the early hours and wrote a long review only for it not to post as "the gig hadn't happened yet". Now I know I didn't dream it : ) I guess it's as the system clocks are on LA time? Anyway, don't know if that's something you want to look at.

Maritime - thanks, it was fun, and the camera didn't crack for once LOL

Cheese - I did fall asleep to magic - lots of magical ringing in my ears. Good feeling!

Slansh - no problemo

Big bunny - yeah, that would be cool, would appreciate that. I guess I do look tall against Prof Satch lol

Alexandrecaetano - I will ask my parents to ask about the DVD/CD tonight. I'm want them to see Joe as a surprise, much as I'd love another personal chat with the man. I just hope my mother behaves : op

Chills - replied to your mail m8.

Michelle - it was absolutely no problem, glad I could do it. We had a great little chat, damn he's so COOL! I have to remember to go turkey in all photos now lol Nice find on the Metalli Swapd line up vid!!

Cosmic Ape - Joe does a lot of shows around LA right? Sounds like a sure bet you'll be able to catch him more often. I like the sound of that. Good luck with the move!

Have a great day everyone

I managed to sneak a pic or 2 from the show on Satruday (17th) and here it is! ...My friend sneaked a few more that are pretty damn cool! but we were sitting in the second row center and the stage was small so Joe was about 5 feet away, you could almost touch him, it was very cool. But the security were bitchy on fotos

Great show in Bristol, the meet and greet was very cool, Got a few Q and A with Joe and he talked for about 45 minutes or so, was very interesting, kinda usual questions but very cool indeedy then the 1 on 1 where got some stuff signed and a lil chat then a photo then of corse the complimentry hug :)

Then left the autographs and stuff back at the hotel before the doors opened for the venue then got a t shirt a beer and went in, PG was AMAZING he played some new stuff along witht he classics, it was very very cool eveyone was having a good time and it rocked worth the trip alone to go see him, his whole band was on form, it was cool to see it so close, and he threw out one of his picks before we went to use the drill, and the pick landed on me, i didnt notice for a sec tthen just looked down and it was there, ha, fun times... then we ended up talking to his bassist at the end oft he show... nice guy

After some more beer at the itnerlude, Joe came on, opened with I just wana rock, which was way cooler live than on the cd, I was never a big fan of it but live it was cool the band was on form, and great to see Stu back...

The set was cool with a lot of new stuff and some oldies too which was great, as far as i can remember it was -

I Just wanna rock, Overdrive, Ice 9, Diddle-a-do-dat, Ghosts, One big rush, Mysterion, Revelation, Satch Boogie, Out of the Sunrise, Time Machine, Cool no.9, Andalusia, Super Colossal, Flying in a Blue dream, Mystical Potato head groove thing, Bass Solo, Cryin, Always with me always with you, Crown chant, Surfing with the Alien, Summer song and a few more I cant remember, but that was most of them right there kinda similar to that order i think

Great show, Bass solo was cool, and there wasnt many extended outros! Friend got one of Joe's pick too... good times,

Then met up with some people after the show for some drinks it was very cool day overall amazing trip, the hotel was cool, there was an Imac in it and mini bar and bathrobes, freaking sweet, but yeah, im yapping away, There ya go anyways!

I'll be at the guitar signing in a gutiar shop in Dublin, then the Dublin show the following day, then Belfast on this Satruday, should be fun! ...I'll try n get some more fotos in the next few days

ya happy now M

Joe, This site is great. Awesome we get to chat to you. I've a small favour to ask of you and it's this... While I was living in China, I was inspired by an Irish bloke called Gary Toner to get back on the shredding wagon and get me a js1000. I did and I now officially rock. I'm going to see you tonight in Cardiff. I was hoping if when you get a free five minutes on here, you could just write a small message to Gary, to wish him all the best with his new kid. It's a bit soon for you to play Flying In A Blue Dream ( his funeral song of choice ) so if you could just say hi to him, his first-born Niamh and the lil' spud on the way. I'll forward it to him and he'll really be made up. You're awesome by the way. There are few people who play in colours. See you later. Rock on.

Good Morning Satchland.....How've ya ben'?

Clarky.....With BFD you have to install on a seperate drive cuz' it's a memory hog. I reccomend installing to a drive not used for storing audio. I have BFD Lite and had the same probs. It's all in the fxpansion site. Look under "On which hard drive should I install my BFD data?" from the support link. Hope this helps.

Cappy.....Good Luck to ya. and be careful. God Bless

Stevie T...... Happy Belated Birdie.

Joe......How's the tour going? The theater in Spain is beautiful. Can't wait for the tour in the states. Take Care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! ! !

Joe,

I was fortunate enough to attend a guitar clinic in Portland, Oregon several years ago. It was an unbelievable opportunity to see you then and to ask questions about future directions you might be heading musically. I was also very impressed by your willingness to stay until every fan had an autograph. Very nice.

At the time, one person asked whether you were thinking about doing an unplugged or acoustic album. I think you're response was that you were interested, but didn't know if your digits were up to the task. Anyway, I'm sure you would put out some incredible acoustic licks. Now, I'm listening to Andalusia and the intro is totally impressive and is now my favorite tune. PLEASE think about doing more acoustic jams in the future.

Wolf 2:Hook up yer ski doo t solar panels

On Acoustic....please god not another unplugged anti elec guit revival, surely once is enough?

I have come t the conclusion that TV is OWNED by bored housewives, talk, dance & talent shows etc based on how good a sheeple parrot you are

PS>and the current ill mental parental trend of showing off what your kid can do b4 it can walk!!!

Is it me, i mean...kids should just just enjoy being kids imo, whats with this you cant be a kid crap? you must study unborn, mama has her headphones on her belly passing you formulas so you can understand quantum physics at 3 years of age!

cmon, this shit makes me sick. kids are people 2!
