Hi gang, found an internet cafe not too far from my hotel in Dublin...omg what a trip getting here, I'm soooo tired AND....

THEY LOST MY FREAKIN LUGGAGE GAD DAMMIT!!!!

I'm so effed now if they don't find it....no nothin, including my camera.....at least I had the foresight to put my concert tix in my purse but omg is this a nasty feeling! I'ma cry any second....geez, the girl at the luggage counter, when I went up to her to report my luggage missing she was like... "Oh, don't worry about it, it happens TONS and we USUALLY find it within a day, or two......"

Where's my chelle when I need that McAsswhoopin..... sigh.....

Typing on this keyboard is a trip, I've had to go back and erase all kinds of mistakes cuz not all the keys are where I'm used to having them, LOL....

But anyways, I'm here, I made it, have had a wander around cuz even though I'm on at least 30 hours with no sleep it's too early here to go to bed yet. There were two babies on the long flight, one was soooooo cute and quiet, lol...the other screeched off and on all night long so no chance of getting any sleeps...

But it was kinda cool anyway, they actually had some good movies to choose from and geeez did they pamper us with drinks and dinner and snacks and breakfast and hot towels....the only problem is my ass is no longer on speaking terms with me, having to sit so long on all these planes!!

But lemme tell u, London Heathrow airport is freakin HUGE OMG!!! I almost dint make my Dublin connecting flight just from the run through Heathrow...and I mean I was running!! Wow!!

Anyways....I hope to actually be able to find the venue tomorrow, it's lookin iffy, lol.....they drive on the wrong side of the street here too ya know!!! :) So I have no idea if I'll actually make it to either concert, and with no aftershow won't be able to hook up with Joe this trip, but if I see Mckenna, I'ma axe him to deliver a lil prezzie to Joe for me 2mo at the Dublin show....pretty please Mc :)

See Mc, I'm actually in Dublin and yer world dint end...almazin idn't it.....

K....bought a toothbrush and toothpaste at least, back to the hotel to see if they've found my suitcase :(((((( If not, time fer some hysterical tears ffs!!!

Cheese,

That is terrible about losing your bag, hope they find it soon. Great that you put your tickets in your purse though, at least you will get to see Joe rock Dublin hard!

Your right about Heathrow being huge, it is totally insane! Like a city.

Joe, you are a complete genius and I have loved you and your music for 15 years. Was disappointed with the sound at the Glasgow Concert Hall. I don't know if it was the hall itself, or your own sound system. Keep on rocking!

Chee - I would be flipping out about the suitcase. Hope they find it soon. Should have shipped your stuff to Al and had him get it delivered to the hotel. He would have done that, and made a sandwich.

So tomorrow morning I have a little time to shop before standing in line 68461 hours before the show...maybe I'll find something very "Irish" to buy.

OH, I thought this was funny...as I'm walking around dealing with my lost luggage saga....I finally realized what I was smelling in the baggage claim area.....it was the lovely smell of beer, LMAO!!! Gotta love the Irish........except they're all crazy drivers, although my taxi driver did a very good job with me :) £30 later.....spensive I tells ya....

Hi Everyone

Well despite missing the guitar clinic in Seattle ( Ask Do the Stu who was so helpful) on the 11th April, May 15th at the Manchester Appollo (UK) certainly made up for my disappointment in Seattle.(American Airlines cancelled flights that caused me to miss the Seattle gig).

So much so that that it has taken me a week to comprehend what happened last thursday and I have only just been able to write this.

I got a platinum ticket and arrived at 4.30 excited at the prospect of meeting Joe again. We were collected by Jon Iverson who ran the last platinum experience two years before. ( Did an awesome Job again!)

We went to the bar area to wait for Joe. As ever when he arrived he was extremely talkative and answered all questions - it was great! We all queued up to have out items signed. Joe signed a picture of myself and Joe from the last platinum experience and we chatted about how bad the flights were in April and he asked me if I had my guitar fixed after the last time. It was great that he remembered.

Joe left after the signing items. Everyone waited patiently to get a guitar pick. I thanked John for his time and he invited us (my friend was there as well) to watch the encore of the gig from the side off the stage. WOW!!!

We watched the gig, in the early part of the gig I was talking to Stuart Hamm while he was gigging. I couldn't believe it! He was asking me if it sounded OK . I put the thumbs up and he threw a plectrum from the middle of the stage! It was a perfect shot! but it went straight through my hands.

SO STU.....If you are reading this, that was an immense aim! that has to be a world record!!!

The gig was immense - I never get board of watching Joe or the band and it must be my seventh viewing.

we then made our way to the side of the stage for crowd chant. I was physically shaking. A rack of Joe's guitar's to my right and Mike (Manning) prepping Joe's guitars! I was Flying in a blue dream!

Then Summer song came, It was amazing. We could only see the back of Joe's head. Although when he came to the back of the stage he spotted us and came up to us while he was playing Summer Song and Shouted " are you having a great time!" yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

the gig finished and we were escorted to the stage exit. we thanked John and everyone for a wonderful day

May 15th 2008 will be a day that I will take to my grave!

And I have to thank Joe and his crew for that wonderful perfect day

I feel so priviledged

Chris

Hi Joe,

great gig on Tuesday night in London ! I've seen you on every tour from Flying In A Blue Dream and that night was probably the best. Great choice of opening act. I've been waiting for about 20 years to see Paul Gilbert - work has always seemed to get in the way.

Anyway, a big "Hi" to Bandana Bruce and his mates from the Duke Of Cornwall before the gig.

Next gig ? I don't know. Maybe Fightstar in Islington next week. Or the London Guitar Show. That sounds like fun ;-)

Hi Joe! My name is Ernesto and I'm talking from Brasil. The first time I saw your show was in 1996, twelve years ago! At that time I brought the covers of the cd's (that you assigned) and I talk to you after the show. Now I am counting the days for the gig at Curitiba, in july 27, and I will bring the rest of the covers of your cd's to you assign. I already put my name to the attendance of the show in your site. If is possible, this time I will bring my sons to the show and I would like to talk to you after the show. We love your songs, we love your technique and most of all we love your sensibility!! Sorry about my English writing.... See you in Curitiba!!

Joe,

I've been a guitarists since I was about 11, alot of musician's have inspired me such as, Joe Perry, Richie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, but you are my favorite and more recently than ever since you have grown more into your own style.

Recently a good friend and a great musician friend of mine was killed in a auto accident (I was folowing behind him when it happened), they just finished a gig and they played so well to an appreciative crowd, well I dedicated one of your songs to him at the wake "Love Thing". It is such a beautiful song, so melodic and almost sends me to tears everytime I play it. Could you play it for my friend Sean Wilhoite and maybe even dedicate it to our "good friendship"? He was such a great musician you would have enjoyed jaming with him if you could have met him.

I love your recent CD. Keep playin' it to the bone!

Mona
