here's some feedback from us at the Racer X board. We're monkeys barely able to type, but heh, feedback is still feedback. I didn't find a CD feedback section and didn't feel like polluting the "live shows review" section.
We're overally dispointed, even some of us long time Satch fans, but we still think there are good tracks in "Professor... rock".
Many think it's not a really good album... personally I think the album is alright.
cheers.

Acid Wire - I agree. I found Prof. Satchafunkilus... to be very disappointing. I've been pre-ordering the last few albums by Satch, but didn't with his latest release. I was in no rush to buy it. There are one or two decent tracks, but for the most part it sounded like a continuation of SC and does not keep my interest at all, unlike the majority of Satch's albums/songs.
I haven't been on the Racer X forum in a long time! Pablo's latest release - Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar - totally blew me away! It's a huge improvement over GOOMY, props to Pablo. I can't stop listening to SFBAFR and Marco Sfogli's solo album - There's Hope.

Good Morning Satchland......So What Up?
michelle......I'll second that......Here's the
link outlining the dates with some reviews. How's your pop? Hope all is well. God Bless and hugs of course....
Bnad Update.....Had a killer rehearsal last night. We have a booking agent that's interested in us just to get us in the clubs. So he's going to sell us at maybe 10 to 12 clubs and we take it from there. That's really half the battle and if you're good you'll be invited back. So fingers crossed.
Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !
Edit.....Bnad update???? When I fuguire out what that is I'll let you know....lol.....

I would like to thank Mick Brigden for the care he takes with the fans on the "greet and meet" and "aftershow" sessions
Mick searched me among the audience to make sure I would receive the email list so that everyone would get his photo with Joe, as photos were taken with my camera.
People arround Joe are so lovely as himself
Thank you Mick !

Mike : i misssed the s point.. ahahah. & after shave? if i follow the order it's some s..biathlon
Ken : your welcome. The Blues Mavericks are a good blues band. That's some manly blues school you do there. I can hear your Hendrix influence.
Mark : thx. You should love my satch's bullet cover.
Talking about cover, The Crush of Love by Martone is really good.
& i remember that you loved the song Pulsions. It's now a song more interesting, because there's the drums parts. When you'll get time.
SteveeT : So, still guitar starving? & what about the girl?

mikesb......Ohhh! ! ! Yes, order is definetly important.
JS1200...... HA HA ! ! ! ! Yeah I know what you mean. I've entered the event a lot of times over the years.....but only won twice...lol...... that's why I have two sons....lol......
Zen......Thanks again. It's funny you mention Hendrix. LIke Joe and billion other guitarist I struck up guitar upon hearing of Jimi's death. My brother had a lot of Hendrix and I knew who he was but I was in 8th grade when he died and din't have much of a music preference than. Well, the first song I heard was Rainy Day Dream Away from Electric Ladyland. I heard that opening wah wah and was hooked....lol.....Last night's practice we started working on Jimi's classics.....Purple Haze, Voodoo Child, and All Along The Watchtower(George Lynch's version from Furious George) Speaking of which you should check out this CD.....it's great. Things are looking up for us and can't be happier. Man, it's ben' a long rollercoaster ride to get to this point and with a little more luck we'll be on our way. Thanks again for your comments....much appreciated.

Guitarmiester:
"Silence... Roar" is indeed an improvement over Goomy in my opinion, and many others agree on it. However, I'm surprised to see Ken our webmaster on the RX board prefers Goomy, and he is an old Paul fan.
Honestly, when it comes to hearing instrumental music, I think Satch's earlier releases are still much better than what Paul is doing... perhaps Paul will improve! I am a fan of Paul because of his work with Racer X, and we're eagerly waiting for a new R X CD that's never coming... Paul is focussing on his solo career, Scott Travis is going to have to tour the world because of the new Judas Priest Nostradamous concept album that's coming this year... All the R X band members are scattered doing something else, but we keep faith.
Paul is I think very grateful to Satch for inviting him to participate in G3, his career has really taken off now that he's been doing instrumental music, and G3 has surely increased his number of fans.
Satch is still the man, and the reason why I picked up the electric guitar. I'm hope, and I'm sure he will do better with his next record, we're probably not the only ones to be disapointed, he must have read a few other reviews like ours, and he will not disapoint us. =) Anyway, I'm moving back to the RX board! Catch me there! C ya.

JS12001000 - I keep visiting that chrome site just for the 'chrome outfit' lmao. Being serious though, the chromed guitar looks spot on. Wonder if it peels? You thinking of getting one chromed?
Gotta Have Joe - don't worry, time will help, and cupid will seek you out again when the time is right. Chin up
Do The Stu - forgot to say I did come up with a set list, but it's a tough job. Don't know how Joe does it! Nice opening section on your list
mikesb - lmao, that's quite a triathlon. What kind of training do you do for that one?
Everyone - just in case you missed it first time round, if you have a personal message for Joe & the band that you want me to give to them in person then please email me and I will be delivery boy for you... if you want. (need 'em by May 15th)
Have a great weekend all
