bluemoon, i have a shaved head due to going bold, in the winter walking to work at 8am and i forget my hat, it can be a bit nippy, aye. and in the summer i have to remember a hat cuz i get sunstroked easily. but i had to do this when i had hair, when i had long hair my old man called me the yeti. charming. but i prefer shaved head, its just so easy to maintain as i have to do nothing. if i where sunglasses i can do a pretty good joe impression, lol.

its great joe shaved his head, total respect, instead of trying to hide hair loss like so many stars do he admitted it, sorted it, and looks better for it.

joe has made a small step, but a giant leap for baldies eveywhere. respect

and when i look at ronnie wood or ygwie's hair i think joe looks far cooler, a sort of ' cyber zen guitar monk'

Joe Satrini... Have you thought about the Marshall Vintage Modern? Or even the JVM? There's always the new Cornfor Roadhouse combos out, but they are about £600-£700 or something. vid of the product release

Guitarman77897 5Watts is fine for you! If you could hear my epiphone valve junior....I'm sure the Stchurator would go fine with it..... just looked at the valve king royal8. It's class A which means it will naturally go into overdrive as you push the volume up...that probably wouldn't be a prob though. What about the JSX Mini Colossal?? OK, it's about 4 times the privce of the royall8, but it sounds great: vid

Oh yes, I am slowly accumulating some money. I intend to purchase for myself a new guitar. One that is better than my current Ibanez SA36fm....any ideas?? Budget possibly up to near £700, or even above if I part ex my current....cheers =D

I'm sure this will have been discussed here before but I just came across this info on the Byrne Robotics website:

Q: Is the cover of Joe Satriani's "Surfing With The Alien" album drawn by JB?

A: Yes, the "Surfing With The Alien" album cover featuring the Silver Surfer was drawn by John Byrne. However, the drawing was not an original piece, and JB did not give permission or receive payment for its use. The art is lifted from panel 1 of page 6 of SILVER SURFER #1 published in 1982.

That seems a bit off to me and not like Joe to leave unsorted. Anyone know what the present situation is?

Hi gang, found an internet cafe not too far from my hotel in Dublin...omg what a trip getting here, I'm soooo tired AND....

THEY LOST MY FREAKIN LUGGAGE GAD DAMMIT!!!!

I'm so effed now if they don't find it....no nothin, including my camera.....at least I had the foresight to put my concert tix in my purse but omg is this a nasty feeling! I'ma cry any second....geez, the girl at the luggage counter, when I went up to her to report my luggage missing she was like... "Oh, don't worry about it, it happens TONS and we USUALLY find it within a day, or two......"

Where's my chelle when I need that McAsswhoopin..... sigh.....

Typing on this keyboard is a trip, I've had to go back and erase all kinds of mistakes cuz not all the keys are where I'm used to having them, LOL....

But anyways, I'm here, I made it, have had a wander around cuz even though I'm on at least 30 hours with no sleep it's too early here to go to bed yet. There were two babies on the long flight, one was soooooo cute and quiet, lol...the other screeched off and on all night long so no chance of getting any sleeps...

But it was kinda cool anyway, they actually had some good movies to choose from and geeez did they pamper us with drinks and dinner and snacks and breakfast and hot towels....the only problem is my ass is no longer on speaking terms with me, having to sit so long on all these planes!!

But lemme tell u, London Heathrow airport is freakin HUGE OMG!!! I almost dint make my Dublin connecting flight just from the run through Heathrow...and I mean I was running!! Wow!!

Anyways....I hope to actually be able to find the venue tomorrow, it's lookin iffy, lol.....they drive on the wrong side of the street here too ya know!!! :) So I have no idea if I'll actually make it to either concert, and with no aftershow won't be able to hook up with Joe this trip, but if I see Mckenna, I'ma axe him to deliver a lil prezzie to Joe for me 2mo at the Dublin show....pretty please Mc :)

See Mc, I'm actually in Dublin and yer world dint end...almazin idn't it.....

K....bought a toothbrush and toothpaste at least, back to the hotel to see if they've found my suitcase :(((((( If not, time fer some hysterical tears ffs!!!

Cheese,

That is terrible about losing your bag, hope they find it soon. Great that you put your tickets in your purse though, at least you will get to see Joe rock Dublin hard!

Your right about Heathrow being huge, it is totally insane! Like a city.

Joe, you are a complete genius and I have loved you and your music for 15 years. Was disappointed with the sound at the Glasgow Concert Hall. I don't know if it was the hall itself, or your own sound system. Keep on rocking!

Chee - I would be flipping out about the suitcase. Hope they find it soon. Should have shipped your stuff to Al and had him get it delivered to the hotel. He would have done that, and made a sandwich.

Guitar Jim, LOL....go ahead, play with yer keyboard....oooOooo I just found that other symbol ibanezjoan posted €€€€€€€€€€€€ there it is!!! I had to figger out how to make it go because it's on the "4" key and just a shift doesn't do it....I had to come to Ireland to do it...now...what does it mean? LOL.....

ibanezjoan, funny, yahuh, luggage in Barca, LOL....but I can now report that it has been delivered.....I had cried myself to sleep in my room cuz it still wasn't there when I went back....but then reception woke me up with a phone call to say it had just been delivered, woo hoo......I feel better now :) Oh, and really nice pics of Joe, thanks for sharing, I'll hafta look at them all closer after I get home next week.

U 2 Mckenna, nice Joseph pics....hope they let us take more in Vicar St, and Belfast....

castle49, yep, flipping out, had a meltdown, but it's okay now. Not a nice feeling though, lemme tell you!

So tomorrow morning I have a little time to shop before standing in line 68461 hours before the show...maybe I'll find something very "Irish" to buy.

OH, I thought this was funny...as I'm walking around dealing with my lost luggage saga....I finally realized what I was smelling in the baggage claim area.....it was the lovely smell of beer, LMAO!!! Gotta love the Irish........except they're all crazy drivers, although my taxi driver did a very good job with me :) £30 later.....spensive I tells ya....
