Blue_Moon: Great vid! Are you using a loop effect there? Or just very long delays? Nice work...=D

Do the Stu..I only have one of 12 stones three albums , 'Potters Field'. I like '3 leaf loser' - one of those bands though you have to be in the right kind of mood for. Interesting if you schooled with them!
Ordered my Paul Gilbert tickets today...Belfast! Weyhey....

Thx :) the fireworks one is fun, and full of tap dancin, and kinda tricky to do it all live but i got it done, but yeah its mainly delay ur hearing from a dd-20, over a weird kinda effect i discovered by chance, just thought it sounded funny, theres only 3 chords in the song ha thought that would make it more fun
tthe other ones a little gay, but the middle section but is fun alrite, i jus improved the end of that one too as u do of corse

REVAN 2000 - Get yourself on a computer based browser and have a listen!
loll - Interesting what you say about getting my stuff on itunes. I tried and failed a while back, but several people have recommended tunecore, so I'm gonna give it a shot. Thanks for listening!
Guitarman 77897 - Yeah I used to play satch's stuff with one of those Jam with books, I've kind've forgotten most of it tho since I started doing my own stuff! On the mystical potato head groove thingy, you wanna practice it on a clean tone, and then when you whack up the gain you'll nail it! Having said that I can't play it. Anyway, great you like my stuff, spread the word!
Igneousiceman - I reckon great musicianship in this game comes from 'feel', Hendrix had it, SRV, Satch still has that bluesy feel built deep into has music, despite it being a bit more complex!

alexandrecaetano - Thanks for posting your Satch pics...the Joe/Galen/Stu one is very cool.
lorenzo001 - News posts no longer disappear from the site. If you click the "View All" button and scroll through all of the pages it'll turn up. If it isn't there, it was never posted.
Blue_Moon - I like your song a lot...thanks for sharing the video.
Tuesdayschild - I checked out a few 12 Stones sound clips...they're definitely one of the better modern rock bands I've come across. I don't know if what I heard is enough to make me become a fan, but I am intrigued. Thanks for mentioning them...I'll keep 'em in mind.
Have you heard of the band Shinedown? If you like 12 Stones I bet you'll love these guys. Actually, I just went to Shinedown's website and it looks like 12 Stones is opening for them on tour.
Go here and listen to some clips. In order from softest to heaviest I recommend Shed Some Light, I Dare You, Save Me, Fake, and Atmosphere. Or go to http://www.shinedown.com/ and listen to Devour, their newest single.
andy of uk - Wow...where have you been hiding that video? I LOVE it...that's a perfect example of why Satch is my favorite guitarist. The harmonics from 1:02-1:08 are cool, and then I love how he is really pushing the trumpet player to do more when they're soloing with each other. But I think the coolest thing is the look on Grace Potter's face at around the 5:00 mark, during Joe's solo.
It's stuff like this that REALLY makes me excited about the Chickenfoot project. I hope that music ends up being different enough so we can hear new sides of Joe, just like the stuff that comes up in this song.
...Austin...

Andy of Uk - that was a very cool video. I've never heard of that singer....great tune.
Do the Stu - Shinedown! Good group. Heros is my fav by them. Maybe their most mainstream, but that song just really rocks.
The more I think about the "Chickenfoot" the more excited I get too. Especially after watching that video from Andy. You remember 2 supergroups that popped up in the 80s...Damn Yankess and Bad English? they both put out a couple of really good cds.
Last night I was listening to some SRV with my new Dennon headphones (highly recommend by the way). Voodoo child came on and MAN! Wish Stevie Ray didn't get taken so soon. Would have liked to see him and Joe get on stage for a couple of hours.

Good Morning Satchland.......How Is Everyone?
This is a short but very informitive interview with Joe and John Cuniberti on recording PSATWOR. Check this out.
Dad update.....Pops is resting in a nursing home near his home in Wisconsin. Mayo clinic couldn't do anymore for him till he's ready for more radiation treatments. He's recovering nicely and will return to Mayo in about six weeks. It's a waiting period now to see how his body reacts to these treatments. Cindy and I are going to see him this weekend. Time will tell the story. Fingers crossed......
Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Wow...Shinedown, never heard of them but well worth finding out about! I particularly like 'Burning Bright' (the little bit that's shown on utube) - acoustic version, but then I always liked the slower tempo tunes. Or the 'sloppy songs' I called them at the height of my Tesla days.
...showing my age....
