my firend has a super hard on downstairs, he uses it for his bass :)
its jsut lieka pre amp and boosts the sound nicely...
I study sound engineering and music technology in STC here in Dublin its alrite, i wish the school i was in had that stuffs wen i was in it, wuda helped a lot i had a room with a piano and a couple of guitars! and music here in Ireland sucks cause there nothing to represent it, u jsut learn things and yer just pushed into anythingand everything, some people could be amazing and get no jobs or some could suck and get lucky its a unregulated kinda grey area theres different routes for it too, the one im doin is more practical but coveres everythign really theres some collages too for just a bachelors and masters n music and all that but goes nowhere near sound engineering
its a kinda crappy route to go down in if u wana get a nice job after u study, but if u love it enough u shud be ok i guess, this is my second music corse, first one was music management, thats all really,
I've a gig tomo in Pravda Dublin if anyone from ireland wants to go! first time im palying my music with a band live properly, no idea how tis gona go

nickguitarmeistro - I saw Joe play Why on the Strange Beautiful Music tour. Def one of my all-time favourite Satch songs too. It was a superb version but the venue in Birmingham on that tour was utter $%*&! It was a bingo hall or something. Visibility was dreadful and the stage was low which made it even worse. When Joe sat down for the acoustic part of the set (which, incidentally, was awesome and something I would love to see return to a Joe show) you couldn't see him unless you were at the front of the sweat pit! Confusingly, it was called the Birmingham Academy but it's not the same place as the Birmingham NIA Academy which is a great venue (saw Joe there too).
So, yeah, Why was great live. Joe had a couple of harmonies going but I couldn't see what he was using to make them. Definitely three notes playing for the main verses. The only other time I remember being totally blown away by the pure sound of a song was the intro to Rubina on the Extremist tour. Wish that would make its way back into the set-list again too.

cheese101 - Awesome...I'll have to check my schedule at work, but I'm liking the timing of this. As long as he gets to the west coast before Thanksgiving, things should be fine. :-)
Schmackledorf - Yeah, Joe will eventually make his way across the US...
...Austin...

Disaster, my Fiancee is manager of a local charity that has just became victim of a crazy takeover bid and has been locked out of her office, she might be out of a job. This could scupper the wedding plans. No wonder decent people turn to murder.

The Music is desperatly become a world of whores. Inside this crap climate, NIN are a fantastic bastion of genuine creativity.
I see Trent as the Peter Gabriel of his time.

hey mike, i get a bunch of compoop for you:
& before all, i repeat it once more, with no offense for Ibanez circle, or others circles, the alive king of Stratocaster :
Jeff Beck Earthcake
& then, kind of weird bluesrock composition absolutly out of there :
Zappa : San Ber(na)dino
& then, a piece of modern composition of which the pure genius kills me each time i hear it:
Zappa, The Uncle Meat Variations (do you notice which strange days ghost is on the right fog Frank?)
Good toilet man.

Other point, my first solo album should be finished around the end of the year : 11 songs. It will be very eclectic.

Hey...I was in my local Newbury Comics yesterday, and I saw a signed copy of the new CD...I'd heard about Satch before, but never actually heard his music...but I bought it, took it home, and right now it's been on random repeating shuffle in my cd player since about noon yesterday...Probably one of my 5 most favorite CDs already. As soon as I get my next paycheck, I'm buying every other album I can find...Sick music!

As found in Runners World, from the AP
Police arrest man running on trail in thong
Police arrested a man on Saturday night for running on a Lincoln (Nebraska) bike trail in his thong underwear.
They 26-year-old was charged with indecent exposure.
The article is awfully short, and so raises more questions than it answers. For example:
Was the perpetrator slim, or not so much? Surely that should be a factor when it comes time for sentencing.
Was the thong a basic, solid color, or some exotic animal print?
Was it a Victoria's Secret thong? And if so, was anybody injured and prompted to file a lawsuit?
When cops put this guy in the back of their cruiser, did they lay down a mat or towel or something? Because if not, well, gross.
At any point during his arrest, did the perp admonish officers for not turning the other cheek? If not, he missed a golden opportunity.
If anyone out there has any more info on this sketchy story, please send it our way. Meantime, please try to keep the wise cracks to a minimum.

Good Morning Satchland....How Is Everyone?
Thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers. Cindy and I really appreciate it.
YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!
Well, Monday was the final service for my dad in my home town. I still can't believe he's gone. I'm thinkin' he's gonna call me any moment. I'm relieved to know his suffering is over and he's in a better place. He had a great life of 82 years on this Earth and I'm very thankful on many levels for this. It's the end of an era if you could call it that as my mom and dad are both gone. It's a strange feeling.....it's like a part of you is missing. Thank God I have Cindy and our boys as with out them this would be a lot harder to handle. Plus, I'm finding comfort in knowing with out my P's we wouldn't have them. Also, I'm proud I paid tribute to my dad through my music and his song I wrote for him. Music is the common thread that goes through all of us and ties us together.
Thanks again for all your support. You're the best cyber family in the world.
T2J ROCKS !!!! There's no doubt about it !!!!
Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!
Hey Joe......Oct. 8th at the Chicago Theater......We're there.... Cool......
Oct. 14th is our 29th wedding anniversary.... We'll be celebrating for sure. Take Care......

Cube : suspension is very beauiful.
Cube/Mike : i think my fav beck's tune is all beck... lol...
But particularly, Declan is the more beautifull thing i've heard onto guitar. With Jennifer Batten onto synthe guitar. On the comp : Donal Lunny. Insane combination of talents.
