Keniko : Hey, I'm not long postin on here, but I just want to pass on my sincerest condolences to you and your family. My heart goes out to you all. I know how you must feel, I lost my mother to cancer when I was 17 and all I can say is that time is a great healer, that and the great memories you have are what will help you through. I always found I Believe a great source of comfort to help me through the tough times. My thoughts are with you, be strong.

Mark

John- a B is the second highest grade....so yea it's good. What grade system do you use?

whoever posted the Eric Johnson "Cliffs of Dover" video...thanks, I am learning it, can't get it out of my head.....I was apparently humming it during my finals without realizing it....The teacher yelled at me for it..=D

Railton-There are a few sites with videos that will give you some tips from satch, but other wise I doubt you can get a personal lesson. He helps people hone their skills, you need the basics before he will teach anyone. like you need to be able to play scales and chords and know what a hammer-on is and a pull-off. Although I was chatting with someone a while ago, I think it was cheese101...but they won a Joe lesson in an auction. (LUCKY!!!)

I have Chemistry and History finals tomorro then on thursday I have french, and supposed to have digital imagery, but I am not even going....I haven't even finished my project. ALMOST DONE!!!!! then I am going to just play Halo3, Oblivion etc Maybe go to the pool, ride my bike....BE LAZY!!!! >.</>.</>.<

Railton: If you are looking for a good resource for learning, you should check out this site. It covers a lot and has good video lessons also! Well worth a look :)

Hey Joe! You are my idol and i'm asking you if you could help me with something. I recently learnt ""Satch Boogie" and I was wondering how did you get so good at legato and harmonics. Can you give me some references for me to source out. Oh, and also are you doing a Guitar Clinic in Brisbane, Australia? If you are can you please state when, where and what time? Thanks.

Everytime I switch out the washers for the whammy bar, it works for about 5 minutes then stops. Are there any other ways rather then the washers to keep the whammy bar in place. Like raping something around the end of the bar

Hello all, I am new to your forums. This looks like a wonderful community and I look forward to spending a lot of time here. Satch's music has been such a major influence in my life from High School to Adulthood and now I am passing it on to my two young daughers. Always with Me, Always with You was played at my wedding 14yrs ago. Oh well, enough sappy stuff.

Thanks Colonel Claypool

Hey Joe, once in a lifetime I asked you about inviting Steve Morse for the next G3 experience...what would you say??? Man, I saw one video that you are playing Lazy with Purple so I've minded how CRAZY would be you, Mr. Vai and Morse jamming...OMG!!!!!

I pray for my life until this happening !!

PS: When it happens, please, COME TO BRAZIL!!!!!

Igneousiceman - thanks , I think its cool too. I don't have Stanley's new album but I recently bought a song of his (Hair) that Joe plays on. He is incredible , the solo he played on that stand up bass was crazy cool ...wow

DoTheStu - let me tell you about RUSH , oh so cool . They were so on the first night , I was dead center , sounded fantastic with earplugs in. There was so many people I could hear them singing behind me to some of the songs. Favorite song of this tour for me was Ghost of A Chance.... Second night my seat was closer but on the left in front of the speakers , was loud with earplugs in but a great show none the less. Geddy's voice was weak as this was the 3rd night in a row for him , he had some trouble hitting some notes. I have some good pics I'll share when I get them uploaded.

Joe - How's it going , having any fun over yonder?
