Hey Ken...doing great! How about yourself? Yeah grew up there then moved here in 86 when I was 24 basically because I couldn't afford the rent! Even back then rent was pretty high and my salary very low cause I was working for IDOT after school. There was an oil and real estate bust down here when I moved so rent was cheap and I got a big raise working for a consultant rather than the goverment. But even then I was lucky I got the job because they were laying off engineers big time because of the bust...but I was trained on the latest new-fangled thing...computers...so I got the job. Then it's been boom times here ever since then. My parents and brothers and sisters are all cheese heads now just north of the state line. Hey I remember the last project I worked on at IDOT was I-355 right by your neighborhood, but it wasn't going to be a tollway then..I don't miss the winters I still remember the last one before I moved when da Bears won but I still get nostalgic about Chicagoland, I haven't been up there since the August before 9-11. It's been too long.

Well I hope Chickenfoot does really well, Joe deserves to play stadiums and I guess mainstream rock is the only way to get there...

But I hope he'll still tour with his band every other year and puts out more solo disks cause I'd really miss that. Instrumentals are my fav. I don't know about y'all but I enjoy Joe's work this decade more so than the previous. He keeps getting better! I'd love to hear Redshift Riders or The Meaning Of Love or Souls of Distortion or really anything from Engines of Creation to the present again. I wish more weight was put all these great songs from this decade!

campbell - Cool...Rush re-released their three early live videos on DVD a few years ago in a package called Rush Replay X3. It's a very cool set...it'll be more expensive than what you paid for the one video, haha, but it's a great set.

fiboacci1618 - Yeah, Joe has so many great songs that either don't get played on the album tour or are dropped after the first leg. I'd love to hear Flavor Crystal 7, Champagne?, The Traveler (played briefly), You Saved My Life, If I Could Fly (also played briefly), The Souls Of Distortion, Tumble. And I miss songs like Starry Night and Ten Words...
Big Bunny - I love Searching, but I don't think I want to ever hear it again unless Matt is in the band.

The version of Searching I heard in Ventura in 2005 is on my short list of top Satch moments... I think it was No. 1 until the SWTA show last year, actually.

The Traveler and If I Could Fly are my favorite songs from those two albums...I'm bummed that most of the US got to hear them on the ITLIS? tour, but that they were dropped before Joe did the California shows.

...Austin...

Matt: is that the JS100 you're going for? Also, you want to get 'Grid' for Xbox, good game on PC...=D

Anyone play any good old games like Far Cry or Unreal 2004? I still think it would be kinda cool to get a 'SatchMatch' on a game sometime. I can only get Halo2 for PC....=(
