Well, if some want to hear our new singer,

You can check Once Again

Please, be indulgent with this recording realized quickly, & with her. She didn't know the song & the lyrics before the recording, & got the flu. We did two tests & recorded the third. I've done my best today to clean & re-mix this live take. It's our first recording.

We are all conviced by his voice. I just hope she's gonna to stay with us. You can tell me if you like that kind of woman singer.

& now, i go back to bed.

Good sunday.

Tuesdayschild - So did you already buy a new MP3 player, or are you still looking around for one to get?

I bought a SanDisk Sansa View in October and I love it. It's a 16 GB flash-based player and I got it for the price of an 8 GB iPod. So if you're still looking, I highly recommend this one.

If you already bought one, what music do you have on it so far?

dream3 - If you happen to talk to Stu at the clinic, ask him about Out Of The Sunrirse for us...tell him we all want it back.

Cool...that's a lot of music space Do the Stu!

I got a 4GB ipod nano 3G, on ebay. I only got about £5 off so not the biggest bargain of the century....and it was a whirl of the minute whim thing which isn't always so sensible. I just happened to log on 1 min before the end of that particular auction!!

But anyways I've got it now and I've been fillin it up. I've got Joe Satriani Flying in a Blue Dream, CP, the Anthology, Super Col, and PSATMOR, then Dream Theatre Octavarium (your recomendation...thanks...love track 3) and Systematic Chaos. Then I've got Led Zepplin II and Mothership, then 12 stones (pottersfield), then a little known local band called Twister who wrote a tune for my ex hubby who died last year called 'A song for a friend'

Then I've got individual tunes like some Whitesnake, Jeff Beck, MSG (captain Nemo one of my favourite all time instrumentals) Queensryche (from Operation MIndcrime) and don't laugh, a song called Alive and Kicking by Simple Minds, an old favourite. Still working on it.

What about you?

In my opinion these are the two best Satch-cover players- Gustavo Guerra (search GGuerra on youtube, he also won some contests) and Howaiti (don't know his real name, search Howaiti on youtube)

They both have Satch guitars and they sound just like the Joe They are amazing,

Howaiti-Crystal Planet cover (with a cute lil kitty) http://youtube.com/watch?v=j0kvKXbh528

Gustavo Guerra- Surfing With The Alien cover http://youtube.com/watch?v=fO9_JnUugi8

They both have lots and lots of Satch videos. They are all really good....Check them out! >.<

Tuesdayschild - Yeah, I have a lot of space...but of course I want more! ;-)

About 75% of my MP3 player stays the same all the time, and I rotate stuff in and out of the remaining space. I only put complete albums on there; not individual songs.

I have complete discographies of about a dozen bands...off the top of my head, they are Aerosmith, the Black Crowes, Collective Soul, Dishwalla, Dream Theater, Dredg, Explosions In The Sky, Garbage, Joe Satriani, Lacuna Coil, Led Zeppelin, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Stu Hamm, and Van Halen.

Other than that, I rotate stuff in. I have a few albums from Def Leppard, Green Day, the John Butler Trio, Riverside, Steve Vai, They Might Be Giants, U2 and Yes.

It's awesome...I love having enough space to keep bands' entire discographies on there at all times. I never have to think about what Aerosmith album I'll be in the mood for, for example, because I always have all of 'em.

I have more to say, but I gotta get to work. So I'll be back later.

What does everyone else have on their MP3 players at the moment?

...Austin...

just on the subject of Def Leppard, my sis went to see them last night along with Whitesnake. Apparently whitesnake were rough. She described Coverdale issueing the odd scream into the microphone but then pointing the microphone at the crowd for most of the time. She also said he looked a bit on the geriatric side for all the hip gyrating, which was a bit disturbing. Leppard were supposed to be very good though.

Although she said there was drinking being done on the floor infront of the stage, and fights breaking out. A far cry from the Satch concert where without exception everyone just gawped in admiration at the stage. There was a bar at that gig, no one seemed to be using it. I reckon everyone was a true music appreciator whereas Leppard attracted a different type of crowd.

Hi Michelle, credit crunch or no credit crunch, I'll be getting LTE next. Then I'll have to call it quits for a while I think. Need to heat the house too!!

Laters....Victoria

I have a 32 GiG Ipod touch which I really like a lot! Video was my reason for buying the touch instead of the 160 Gig Ipod classic. My only regret in buying an ipod is the DRM issue with music. Napster just release 6 million songs DRM Free. But other than that the Ipod touch is really a nice MP3 player.

I currently have about 1500 songs on my ipod and I am a big podcaster. I think I have about 175 podcasts. Most of them management podcasts. I have 2 daily video casts...MSNBC and NBC nightly news. I currently only have 4 bands entire anthology. Led Zeppelin...Van Halen...Satch...and the Police. Very close to finishing U2. I personaly lean the direction of Stu...I like to have full albums. I sometimes listen to random play, but I really like to search for an album and play it.

I also have a 1 Gig ipod shuffle. I only use that one for running and working out. I run 3 mornings during the week and do some light weights 2 days. Weekends off!!! But the shuffle is cool for that stuff. It's really small and easy to store.

I'm a bit of an audio geek though. I have a portable amp for my mp3 player. I also use high end headphones. But believe me, if you're really into your music...get an amp from Headphone.com It will be one of the best purchases you'll ever make. Really brings out some good sound.

Anyway, I could talk forever on this stuff. No need to drag on...I'm starting to feel like Wolf! LOL Just kidding. I hope you really enjoy whatever mp3 player you get. I think Sandisk and Sony (just came out with a new one) really make some quality mp3s. Especially Sandisk. they probably have the closest if not better quality to any of the ipods.

BTW, anyone getting to Dallas to catch the show in November?

Ok I restrung my guitar last night because like 3 or 4 of the strings wouldn't stay tuned, and when the new strings did the same I realized it was the guitar not the strings. So the beggining of July I can get either a new guitar or amp, I don't kno which to choose. A shitty guitar thru a good amp sounds shitty, a good guitar thru a shitty amp sounds shitty. I need both but can only get one, the other I can get for christmas, help me decide which one I should get first plz! thanx

Guitarman - I say get the guitar for sure. A good guitar will sound not so great through a bad amp, but it will sound 10 times worse if it's played on a good amp but always out of tune! Just my 2 cents.
