Tuesdayschild - Thanks for the compliment. First off i guess it's important to know if you're keeping the speakers stationary or if you want them to be on the go. If you're stationary I think a decent prised dock would be the Altec Lansing inMotion iM600. That's a really good sounding dock AND it has an am/fm atenna inside. Nice little feature. I think you can pick one up for somewhere between 99 and 120 USD. if you're looking to step up in price a little, then check out the Bose Companion 3. These little desktop speakers have a sub that tucks away. GREAT SOUND!!! But they are rather pricey. About 250 USD. Now if you're just looking for little speakers to plug in and take on the go...unfortunately you're really never going to get a good sound. Hope that helps. I believe if you're going to spend your hard earned money on getting the music, you should invest some money on the speakers or headphones that you listen to.

So has anyone heard anything about this supergroup that Joe is supposedly going to be a part of? The name is supposed to be Chickenfoot, and it's supposed to consist of:

Sammy Hagar - Vocals Joe - Guitar Michael Anthony - Bass Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Drums

Not sure what to make of all of these rumors...not really any legitimate sources to cite either. Anyone heard anything concrete on this?

Good morning Joe! I'd just like to say- while I listen to Professor Satchafunkilus for the thousandth time- that I've been listening to you ever since I fell in love with Rubina. Don't worry Joe... just the song from Not of This Earth way back in high school when a buddy said I should have a listen to some guitar player who speaks & generates more emotion with his guitar than almost anyone else with lyrics! Your music is always refreshing, inspiring, and original. I look forward to each cd wondering in what musical direction you'll be taking us. I've been on a huge high since I found out you're coming to Edmonton, and since it will be my first time seeing you in person on stage, the wait will be hell!! Best wishes on your Tour, hope to see you soon!!

chojuaniche - Hi. If go to the road page and read the reviews for the first few shows, you might find the current setlist.

He's playing about 3/4 of PSATMOR. Other than that, you can expect to hear Super Colossal, Crowd Chant, Summer Song and Always... I bet Satch Boogie is in there, and probably Ice Nine and Cool #9 as well. The rarely played "oldies but goodies" Satch is playing this tour are Crying and Time Machine.

Blue_Moon - That auction is pretty interesting...hehe. That seems like a lot of money he's getting for everything; I wonder if the winning bidder will actually pay.
cosmic_ape - Ah, thanks for posting that. Other than a few notes at the beginning, I don't hear any similarities. Some of the intervals in the melody are maybe the same, but that's it...I'd say it's a bit of a stretch. Interesting, though...
n_squared - There have been hints about Chickenfoot mentioned in magazines, but there's very little official information out there that comes straight from one of the members.

A Canadian Press interview with Sammy Hagar has been posted here several times, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. He says the band is set to go into the studio around Labor Day.

We haven't heard anything here from Satch, but the Chickenfoot plans would explain why Satch's solo US tour is starting in November instead of late August or early September.

js1200js1000 - I think I mentioned the $8,000 Black Dog price. I think that's what I saw on a tag on the guitar in a video someone posted here. That's probably the list price, though, I bet most of them are sold for closer to $6,000.

...Austin...

BigBunny - I got mine for G3 last year about a week before the show. I started to worry because it was in Pheonix AZ and we planned to do a road trip out there for spring break and were going to hit the road 4 days before the concert. You will probably get them soon.

Went to Styx and Boston concert last night. Styx was amazing, a ton of energy and a lot of jaming. James Young is 59 and moved around like in his late 20s the last time I saw them when I was a teen. They sounded really great too, I was actually getting chills during Miss America which suprised me. I'd see them again.

Boston has a lot of hits for sure but they kinda plodded through them. Tom Scholz had a knee brace on and was pretty stiff lol. And the whole band mix was muddy for a tone geek but his keyboard stuff was great. He's 61 and definately didn't seem young at heart either. Maybe I'm just partial to Chicago bands. ;-)

I think I will get the guitar. The amp is much easier to save up for, but a JS guitar would kill me.

I kno how to subscribe to xbox live...But when I signed up for xbox live Silver I got a trial of gold. I just don't kno how to play online with other people. how do you start a match? >.<
