Oh yeah, watching the Montreux Jazz appearance Joe made (the one on the dvd that came with the 20th anniversary surfing) I noticed he calls it 'Always with you always with me'!!!! So who got it wrong?? Him on the night? Sony? hmm...

Hi Joe, just became a member of your site. I have listened to your music for years and love it.

I have a great thought for you to consider.

My daughter bought guitar hero for her kids. Well I got hooked on it. I've played electric guitar for about 40 years, but i love guitar hero. I see groups like aerosmith, and now metallica are putting out thier own cd's for guitar hero. I'm hoping you will check into and consider putting out your own cd for guitar hero. Not only would it be a great source of additional income for you, but it would give a lot of your fans a fantastic sense of entertainment to be able to play along with your music.

Hope you will consider doing this...it would be fantastic.

Thanks...bill

Hey Joe..., I just can't stop listening your songs. They're all amazing and meaningful. I have listened them even more than thousand times in my life but I still feel like I'm hearing them for the first time.Especially ''I believe'' is the one for me.And your voice is the most beautiful voice of all times for me...Your new style is perfectly fine but how about remembering the old times? Please make alikes with some oldies like the albums ''Flying In A Blue Dream'' and ''The Extremist''... Just know that some of your true fans really miss the old Joe sometimes (Hair as well:-)) Take care of yourself... Send our best to Mrs.Satriani and ZZ. I also send my brother's(satrionic1-last birthday@Conrad-Hug) hi to you. Please answer back i'm waiting all day in front of my pc :-)

WE ARE YOUR TRUE SOULMATES

The weather is supposed to be cold and wet all week in Adelaide but I know it is going to be one hot concert at Thebarton Theatre. It has turned into Monday now so it is not long until Thursday when you get Adelaide rocking. Wishing you all safe warm happy rocking travels.

Does anyone here watch sportscenter very often? I could swear I just heard House Full of Bullets during the Red Sox Yankees highlights. Thought that was pretty cool. If it wasn't that song, it was awefully close.

Hey Joe I'm a 49 year old rockin drummer. Never miss a show. I'm here in Phoenix AZ. I just saw Frank Marino about 4 months ago. That's the first time sense about 1978 at Cobo Hall in Detroit and the Toledo Sports arena in the same year. "Smokin". You may want to give him a thought for your next G3 or maybe G2 concert tour. That would be amazing!!!! I must say your 5/5/07 show at the Celebrity Theater was One of the best shows I had ever witnessed. Third row seats baby. Come back soon and oh yeah bring Frank with ya. Bilredfish...plans are already in place for guitar Hero 4....

To quote Joe Satriani answer: “It’s funny you ask: Both game systems have just licensed “Satch Boogie” and “Surfing With the Alien” for upcoming versions.” No specifics were given as to what song will be in what game. .........

If you were in London 15th June & Joe signed for you, I may have a pic of you with Joe here...........I took 10 photos. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/satchboogie14/JoeSatrianiSigningForFansAtLondonInternationalMusicShow15thJune2008 www.picasa.com ...satchboogie14........

Bilredfish-I love guitar hero also and I would love to have Joe's music on it, he would get recognized with more age groups who are missing out on his music. Especially if he put out songs like Surfing With The Alien, or other big songs.

Stu Hamms latest edition to his road trip vids on his Utube of his bass clinic in Australia is really nice. The sound quality isn't great, but still you can tell there's a lovely tone of that bass.

I emailed him and got a reply! I'm sure I'm not the only one to have ever got a reply from the great Stu Hamm but I'm completely star struck and feel like a very special girl.

REVAN 2008 - Thanks for the Marty Friedman info, even if it is a bit limited... I'm looking at CD Universe and it seems like he has several CDs, but Music For Speeding is the only one I ever hear people recommend. I guess the others are in a different style...?

I like the clips I just listened to...his tone is pretty Satchy, but the playing is very different.

Igneousiceman - Yeah I noticed that Always... mistake as well. I think it's safe to assume that Joe goofed that one time; the song has been rereleased on various compilations and reissues so many times since then as AWMAWY.
hybes - Ah...that question comes up every now and then. I think back when CP was released, ESPN did use House Full Of Bullets during some highlights (I'm not positive, as this was before my time as a Satch fan) until Joe politely complained. So they stopped, and then they had a session musician record a bunch of bumper music to use in the background during highlights. One of them is an HFOB soundalike, and that's what you heard. I remember hearing it every now and then on Baseball Tonight a few years ago; I don't think I've heard it on Sportscenter but I no longer watch ESPN regularly.

I forget the session guitarist's name, but he used to be in an 80s metal band. I know his name has been mentioned here before...I'll do some digging.

anibur - Hi...it's nice to see you around here again. :-)
michelle - "AAHHHHH! Fireworks :-)"

Fireworks, eh? It's cool that you finally got to see them, rain-free. And on a slightly related yet completely different topic, here's a story I came across at work today:

Scientists: Watermelon yields Viagra-like effects

Watermelon, Fourth of July, Viagra and fireworks all in the same sentence...haha.

wildB - I bet Joe'll be adding a San Francisco-area show soon. He's from the Bay Area; he'll definitely play there.

...Austin...
