Hi Michelle, great link for 'Black Tide' only thing is I'd want to take them home, feed them, and give them some advice about bad women and drugs lol.

I'm going camping for two weeks to the beautiful wilds of western Ireland, so I'm gonna print out the bass tab for The Lemon Song, (LZ) bring my bass and learn it all while I'm stuck inside my tent in the rain.

Loving the anniversary JS guitars.. I've had a black dog since 89/90... am sure I have a pic somewhere. Me thinks would be better to employ the same technique I used for that on a JS1000BP rather than have to find that kinda cash - was expecting it to be nearer JS1200CA price territory

Joe - one for your favourites. Some great playing but I ended up watching the cat. Satch obviously chills the cat out! Looks just like my cat, but she doesn't do guitar

Blue Moon - how's your sis finding Sydney? If she likes chillin' by the beach send her over to Manly

Do The Stu - cool Sony vid link! Currently on my 'mp3' player I've got all the satch albums, the first four Mr Big, latest two Paul Gillbert, Tribe of Judah, and some Queen greatest hits... it's part of my works PDA and only has a 2GB card, and as of yet I just can't make up my mind which player to get... thinking Sony for sound quality?

Satriella - I'm here... and there... so you don't need to use the S word

Wooleyman - T-Rides guitar player was Jeff Tyson, and he did have lessons from Joe (he's on the Satch Tapes)... pretty sure he's on Podcast 7... or 8

DCK - too funny....

Y'all - here's a version of Echo I dug out... the guitar looks a lot nicer in person (or in the high res version), honest

Have a good weekend everyone!

still stuffing up links.... doh

I just got 8th row for NYC!!! I think that's great for the big city. So far I also got upper balcony seats for HOB Dallas. I didn't know they went on pre-sale two days ago so the best center and box seats were already gone. I'm too fricken old to stand for 6 hours general admission club joe.

Ken...I didn't remember it being U.S. Grant either. But you saw I had a street named after me too right? ;-) My old address was Leslie Ln though, not Mark Thomas Ln... :-)

I am trying to get premium 300.00 meet and greet ticket package deal for Dallas HOB in November, but I am having a hard time getting them. Are these all sold out!? I hope not. I need to buy one now. I am flying all the way down from Alaska just to see Joe, and would love to have a ticket for the meet and greet.

hybes - "Strange how you can hear a song 100 times and think ya it's ok, and then all the sudden something clicks and you just can't stop listening to it."

Funny how you say that about two Super Colossal songs...I try and I try, but I just can't get into that album like I can Satch's other ones. I really love about half of it, but a lot of stuff there just doesn't grab me. I keep listening to the album every few weeks hoping something'll change, but it hasn't yet.

I haven't seen that Andy Timmons video in a while...it's a good one, thanks for reminding me of it. I think that was filmed by a T2Jer; I remember seeing it a few years ago, shortly after it happened. I even ended up hosting it on my school's web server so everyone here could see it...it's hard to believe there was a time before YouTube, yeah? ;-)

I should still have that original file somewhere on my computer. I'll see if I can find it, so people here can see it in better quality.

Johnny Rockstar - Hi...welcome to the site. Joe offers a Club Joe ticket package that includes a meet and greet and some other things. So you can buy that if you'd like, or you can plan on waiting by Joe's bus for an hour or two after the show...he's usually pretty good about meeting fans there.
Joe Satrini - Sounds good...I have a few Paul Gilbert albums...I'll probably put them on my player (along with Eric Johnson's discography) next time I shuffle things around.

I don't know what your MP3 player budget is, but if you're looking for capacity I highly recommend a SanDisk Sansa player. SanDisk is a flash memory company, so they can offer more storage space for less money. I bought my 16 GB Sansa View from last year for the same price the 8 GB iPod Nano was selling for.

They also have some smaller players available, the Fuze and the e200 series.

And I mentioned this before, but one of the coolest thing about SanDisk is their players are all drag-and-drop. Easy.

Gorm - I don't think the meet and greet tickets have gone on sale yet. Generally if the public on-sale happens before the Club Joe on-sale, they'll sell a reduced-price version of Club Joe later on that doesn't include the ticket (so you can use the one you've already purchased).

Stu the premo dallas went on sale this morning. I love Super Colossal! I'd get chills on probably every song at one time or another except croud chant, my least fav of the album. For that tour in 2006 Timmons and EJ came out and did a 3 song G3 for us in Dallas and played until almost 1am...man I wished they taped that one for the dvd!

Igneousiceman: Gr8 video. I was actually at that show. It was the first time I saw Joe Bonamassa perform. Been following him ever since (19 years now) & he keeps on getting better! I just saw him play 10 daze ago near his hometown & it was the best show yet! I actually gave him a copy of that video (including the song Danny Gatton did before he gave his guitar to JoeB to play) after the show. It sounded like he didn't have it already, although he did see it on uTube. I've seen him play probably over 40 times over the years. Joe Bonamassa should DEAFinitely be on the next G3!!!

Do the Stu - I think what's really clicked for me with those 2 songs is the rythm guitar. Everytime I listen to those songs I think, that's some of the best rythm I've heard from Joe yet. When Super Colosal first came out I thought it was pretty good. I got into most of it. But that cd really took off for me overall after the live 2006 dvd came out. When Joe took those songs and did them live, MAN!! I mean that did it for me. That was some great work.

I hope you find that file on your computer and post it. I would love to hear that with better quality.

Just sitting here jamming to some Robin Trower again. Haven't gotten into Robin for some time, but I've really been getting back into him lately. Livin out of Time is a great cd of his if any of you are not familiar with Robin Trower. Great guitar player. If you like SRV, then you'll really get into Livin out of Time by Trower.

Poop, I just figured out how this one works...

Oh well........ In the mainframe twixt having, yesterday, posted my i-Axe back to the the bad people who sent me a duff number ~ but they did promise to send a replacement real soon ~ I got nothing to do except pootle on the old Fender acoustic.... but I could say that some weeks back I wondered off to Hammersmith..... and my head went to Heaven!!!!!

If I never go to another concert in my life, it wouldn't matter! I sat in the local park the next day ( yeah! I've got a dog ) and let the whole experience wash over me.... and the last 'bestest' concert to that evening that I could remember was Jethro Tull at the Wembley Arena back in 1983 ( the Broadsword concert ).... 25 years!!! and a lot of noise has gone down in between hand, but you guys were the best thing this century.... and I reckon unless Mick Taylor gets back with the Stones nothing is going to sound better!

Loved the footwear Satch, from where I was boogying it was a sort of Hobbit meets Gollum dance.... I'm not kidding, I just went off somewhere into space but watched those big red shoes bopping around in that majestic dance.

If I'd have been able to figure out how this posting thing worked prior to the 20th May I would have requested 'Until We Say...' ... but what the heck? Thank you Joe, and Jeff, Stu, and Galen for what will be one of the most memorable evenings of my life.

Mick
