Zinc Master you are breaking tradition... I havent seen Joe since '04 would be nice to know somebody. Oh well.... You say the loop eh? I am not worthy, nah, not a loyal looper. I love the station though.

There are a range of prices from what I understand but if you figure, Chicago Theater, Ticketmaster, and The Loop, all have presale. If you factor in group prepaid, what will be left? Next to nothing good....

What do you all recommend I do? Buy the $35 or $55 ones? Plus I have to pay ticketmaster fees too? Give me a break...

Idk

I hate seating....

Well I made about $500 for my birthday! (the best part of having a very large family!) and $130 of it is going to the SATCHURATOR!!!!! But how does Howaiti have the satchurator if it doesn't come out for a few days? I need some more money for a new guitar because I broke yet ANOTHER string yesterday! and I am sick of buying a whole pack for one string, I don;t kno where to buy just a single string, so I pay $10 or more for one string and have like 10 of every other string, so I need a guitar like really really badly! I am going to try and play some songs that DON'T require the high e string. thats gonna be hard. and I read one post saying Dave Larue kidnapped ZZ WTF!?!?!?! WHEN!?!?! WHY!?!?! HOW!?!?! >.<

Joe,

You bloody legend. You completely blew the top off Thebarton last night! Joe, Jeff, Stu and Galen you ALL owned it! I was holding my breath for Searching again, but it never came! Please add it for Sydney and/or Brisbane. Have fun in Melbourne.

It was pretty damn cold wasn't it?

Galen, don't take it personally, I don't think Jeff was trying to kill you, but it looked damn funny from where I was, pity I didn't get a picture of that! Maybe he want's you off his pedestal of glory? lol!

Thanks again for being so accommodating with the signatures and your time Joe. It was good to catch up again. I asked about the snowboarding as I also started back in the Kidwell days, I can understand how you miss it, but I know you made the right decision, I blew my shoulder out last year and I don't think a layer of Aluminium foil would have helped protect me.

And to Mike the crazy dude, have you stopped talking yet? SHUT UP ALREADY. No, just kidding, you keep talking all you want.

Catch up with you guys in Sydney on the 14th.

Oh, we were talking out the front before the show, how about all the satch clubbers bring rubber chickens to Sydney on the 14th?

We'll have to synchronise it so they all rain down on the stage at the same time. How about after the first song?

Maybe it should be a condition of entry? No ticket, no chicken, no entry.

I don't think I can get a JS guitar anytime soon, So I need some other guitarists opinions on another good guitar for less I got $500 for my birthday, minus ~$150 for the satchurator So I have ~$350 left, and If I'm lucky I can get some more from my parents. I want an Ibanez so what are some good models? And it HAS to have a good whammybar and not get untuned when I use it, thats one reason I hate my current guitar, the whammy bar untunes it. PLZ REPLY!!! thanx >.<

any suggestions... always good good hair conditioner, if you don't have a cat - you should get one, add a pinch of garlic powder to your next egg samish, don't brush yer teeth then drink orange juice, if yer wearing flip flops make sure yer toe nails aren't jacked up, if yer girlfriend seems a bit off - she prolly is - run!

Guitarman - I played a couple of the RG Ibanez guitars...the necks were all pretty flat and thin. I liked them. I have small hands which is why a while back I inquired about the frets on the JS 1000 and 1200. The think neck and jumbo frets on the RG models really play pretty quick and easy. I think I actually played the model that you posted the link to. Pretty rockin. I don't think you would be disappointed. But I've only been playing for a couple of years, so I'm sure there are some people with a little more knowledge than I have on the subject.

gotta have Joe - Oh, OK...cool. I took a psychology class in high school and again in college. I loved both of 'em. In the high school class, we watched a lot of movies (Field Of Dreams, Rain Man, etc.) and wrote essays about the problems the main characters had...that was pretty fun. And then we did a lot of group projects in the college class. It wasn't anything too fancy, but it was better than just sitting there reading a book. ;-)

So you have what...one more year of high school left?

roo - Thanks for sharing a few thoughts about the show. I'm trying to think...Joe first went down to Australia on the ITLIS? tour, right? Did you get to hear Searching then, or no?
chojuaniche - Congrats on passing your exam! Thanks for the video, too...I like Sarah Silverman.
Tuesdayschild - I really like Blackfield, but I still haven't bought that DVD. I need to change that. ;-)

I got into them early last year and then saw them live in early March I think it was. That was definitely one of my favorite shows from last year...and it was a bit of a surprise to me that John Wesley (PT's second guitarist when they play live) was the opening act. I enjoyed his set quite a bit.

But back to Blackfield...they're really cool. It's pop, but it's "smart" pop, and I like that a lot. That's the only SW side project I've had the time or the money to get into...I think IEM will be next, but it requires more money than I have right now.

js1200js1000 - You'll get your Club Joe "backstage pass" either in the mail before the show or it'll be handed to you when you get there.

Yes, Mountain sings Mississippi Queen.

...Austin...

I think that was the best one yet!

Joe does a lot of things, but I believe he might be unaware of that one.

To damn funny!

My top 10 bands: Tough choices. There are so many to choose from. My top 5 are far and away my favorite. Zeppelin has a slim lead on Satch. I mostly keep them at the top of my list because I remember listening to Black Dog at a babysitters house when I was 4 years old. My babysitters son was a teenager at the time and he was always listening to it, and I was just fascinated by the song. So that probably gives them the edge. And maybe the fact that I had a bootleg tape of Zeppelin that had Stairway to Gilligan on it. I was very sad when that tape wore out and broke because back then it never occured to me to make backups of anything. Ahhh....live and learn. 1. Led Zeppelin 2. Joe Satriani 3. Van Halen 4. U2 5. The Police 6. Aerosmith 7. Whitesnake 8. Def Leppard 9. Pink Floyd 10. The Beatles Honorable mentions: Paul McCartney, The Eagles and Frank Sinatra

Do the Stu:

Actually, first time I saw him play live and met him in person was during the not-so-well known whirlwind 2 day "Joe Satriani" tour Jan 1996, he played Metro in Sydney, and then Allans daytime store appearance and Melbourne venue in 2 days, then flew straight to New Zealand the next day. PHEW!

He has also toured well before then (but I didn't know about him before 1994 or so). I know he toured a couple of times from discussions about him playing outdoors in Adelaide, and a recording I have from him at Lewllyn Hall in Canberra around FIABD tour time, not sure of the date (1989/90/91?)

http://roo.emu.id.au/Satch/llewellyn.html

I get to see him again at the Enmore during ITLIS tour with my brother and also met Matt, Jeff, and Galen for the first time there.

http://roo.emu.id.au/Satch/tour20050317pics.html

And now, after that awesome show last night in Adelaide, I'm looking forward to the 14th in Sydney and the 17th in Brisbane - If my ears stop ringing!

What .. is your purpose?

Oh, and he did both Bamboo and an absolutely AWESOME searching during ITLIS at Enmore!

I was fortunate enough to hear searching at that venue on that night. Before then I hadn't really thought of it as one of my favourites. But now the album version reminds me of that night.

I should think of a new word, but for now all I have is : "AWESOME"

Also, Joe playing guitar with his mouth was a funny treat last night... I thought "he won't be corny enough to do it again!"... BUT I WAS WRONG!
