Hi there Joe(and Stu) I posted once before posing a question to you to test your memory and as yet have not seen a reply though I know you have been on the road. So I am here to re-pose the question. We have a history. It was a very long time ago and the 2 hints I can give you is that somebody on this site already has the name you would remember me by and joked about when you autographed blue dream for me. The other clue is a dead giveaway. HUN Sound. Hope you had a great tour and that you can find the time to search your head to remember me. I eagerly await your reply.

Al.....I was a freaked when I saw the lion rushing at them. I figured they would be a meal....lol..... It was pretty cool the lion remembered them. I bet no one is happier then those two.

mikesb......Hey, How are you? Thanks for the vid. Steve was a monster guitarist. Man, could he play. There's a guy that posted a comment on Steve. He stated he was in Crawdaddy with him and has old basement tapes of Steve playin. Man, that would great to hear those. There's a CD of his availible on iTunes. It's the cassette tape Slans sent me. Nice .......

I joined this Band I had to keep playing. I couldn't go through trying a 7th line up in 5 yrs. Enough is enough so I moved on. I think it's a great opportunity. I can just concentrate on playing and this feels real good. Let me know what you think. Thanks....

BTW....The guitarist I replaced is on the songs.

Have A Great Evening Everyone !!!!!!

Well I just got tickets to see Joe in November at the House of Blues in Dallas! I first discovered him just a couple of years ago(along with Steve Vai), and this is my first chance to see him live!

My question is, how hard would it be to get an autograph at the show? I would love to get my guitar signed! I wanted to get the meet and greet package, but alas I don't have that kind of money. I don't even know how I'd go about lugging the guitar to the show, but I'll find a way.

So it's been out for a few days...who here has seen The Dark Knight? Any thoughts?

I saw it Friday morning with two co-workers, and I'm going again on my own tomorrow morning (today/Tuesday, for most people reading this).

nickguitarmeistro - Interesting comments. I think the drums on Musterion are live, but they do sound very processed. As far as the simple fills go, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the demo version of this song was nearly complete. I bet some of the final guitar tracks are from the demo, too. The bass and drums sound simple, like they were maybe originally done by Joe...and Jeff and Matt just kept things simple on the final CD.

The specific fill you mention (1:20 or so) does sound a bit empty, but it doesn't sound un-Jeff. Listen to something like The Souls Of Distortion...I think the drum tracks are fairly similar/simple in both songs. And TSOD is definitely Jeff.

Keniko - "The guitarist I replaced is on the songs."

In other words, "It's not my fault if you don't like it!" ;-)

Do you have any plans to record anything with them soon? Even if it's just a live YouTube video or two?

Plissken99 - If you feel like waiting around after the show, you'll have a decent chance of catching Joe for a quick autograph. And that'll work out great because you can keep your guitar in the car during the gig. You'll probably have to wait an hour or an hour and a half after things finish, but Joe usually will spend a few minutes signing stuff for fans who wait by his bus...

...Austin...

A friendly "salut" to all the Joe's fans and guitarists. I need a little help : I use a Boss GX 700, it's a 19' rack, wich is the same thing that ~10 little Boss pedals in one "box". I would know if somebody knows what "patch" (what "regulatings") to use to have the same sound as Joe according to differentes songs = for this song, this "patch". If a brother guitarist use a GX 700 and know that, or know a webpage where I could find this, thanks to help me. It is rather frustrating to try to get closer to good sound without finding the reglage check really definitely. (the songs I work are "Always with me.." / "If I could fly"/"Ten words"/"Love thing"/"Crying"/"Satch boogie"/"the crush of love" (I have an independant Wha pedal for this one, I don't use the gx700 wha) Thanks for your help ! And -of course- a big "thank you" to Joe, for his music, and also for his behaviour : it's a mega rock-star, but he remains approachable, full of humour and kindness, he makes share his knowledge for the others. A great guitarist, and also a great man. Excuse my poor English, I hope that you understood my message ! Very friendly speedjc

G-Zus you guys babble a lot in a few days...that's my day sorted now =D

DoTheStu: Poor Ulrich, he probably would have been a big winner...where it not for Amrstrong. Interesting when you put it like that with regards to doping and Armstrong.

Joe Satrini: I'm using XP (hopefully with SP 3 soon) and Firefox 3.0. Don't you find it a bit worrying what our Australian relatives get up to?!

Matt: Well, I was in a lovely area called the Lake District doing lots of Mountain Biking, but I'm back now (obviously) =D

BigBunny: I personally don't think Armstrong was a druggy, but Ricco....well well well. I remembet the commentators saying "where's he found all this speed" when he attacked on one of the climbs. Now we know. Sad that people feel driven to cheat. Good luck with your cycling anyway!

Revan: My favourite car has to be the Jaguar Xk 120, bit of a crap pic but reaaaaly nice lines when you see it in the flesh.

Where Were You by Jeff Beck is very good...

Phhheeeww, that's the end. Sorry for the disjointed post that will probably make no sense to some...your own fault for posting so much!!! =D What have I started with this 'listening to' thing??!!

Good Morning Satchland......How Are You Today?

DoTheStu......Well I wasn't meaning it that way. I was asking Mike for his opinion and wanted to be honest by letting him know that wasn't me playing. Steve (don't know last name and never met him) is the guitarist on those songs and I think he's a good guitar player. As for the songs....I like them very much and I'll bring more of a Rock,Blues/Rock influence into the band that they've welcomed. BTW.....What's your opinion of the band?

Plissken99...... I don't know the lay out of the theater but if it's possibe to wait for Joe after the show he'll most likely sign your guitar. I've seen Joe do this a thousand times after shows here in Chicago. Good Luck !!!!

On Non.....How are you doing? I've had some ups and downs these last few months but I've come out of it ok and doing really well. Thanks for asking. Much appreciated.

Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!!
