In this vid of Crushing Day can someone tell me all the effects and the tone he is using, I can get somewhere near it, but it just doesn't sound the same.

John-so is your guitar a newer or older model than my RG5EX1?

And what does ZZ stand for?

100TH POST!!!!!

Jamie - Thanks for asking. The little one is doing fine. She's six and a half weeks old now and ten pounds already. She loves when we go places in the car. I had Satch playing the other day (not loud) and she was loving it!

Cheese - Not sure about the chat anymore. I can still sign in when I use internet explorer but no one is ever out there. I'll let you know when I get the chance to post some pictures for you all to see. The baby's keeping me busy these days. I can't remember the last time I had time to pick up my guitar.

Later everyone!!!

Whats up joe? Been a fan since the late 80's, your music has really inspired me and had a big influence on my style as a musician. Thanks for all the killer tunes you've gave us throughout the years, as usual i cant wait to hear whats next.

Matt: I think my guitar is a few years old, but I think the red finish was new next year...don't know about yours though. Wht do you want to know about Crushing Day? Surely you can't play that?! ;-) If you can, then I lay my pick down at your feet...=D

Woohoo...Section C, Row 7, Seats 12-14... :-)

It's cool to see some other ITLIS? fans here. Not only is it a great album, but the tour was very fun too... The pnemonia shows at the Fillmore were great, even though I'm sure it was all a bit hazy for Joe. The "G3" jam with Neal Schon and Doug Doppler at the end of the second one was awesome.
cheese101 - Yes, my dad and brother will be at this show. And I'm still working out details, but I think my brother will also be coming with me to the SF show. We'll see... So where are you sitting?
bol316 - You won't be mocked for your musical tastes here...our music tastes here are all relatively varied, which I think is kinda cool.

Do you go to concerts often? What are some of the favorite bands you've seen?

michelle - "If it's fun and if it moves ya, what the hell and why not."

An excellent philosophy! \m/

dream3 - I've said this a few times on here, but I bought Additional Creations on Ebay for something like $8 a few months after EOC was released. A year or two ago it used to show up there regularly for around $75, but now I hardly see it.

There were multiple copies for sale when I bought mine for cheap...had I known how rare it would become I would've bought more to share with other fans.

The radio remixes are OK...it's neat to hear the songs done slightly differently, I guess. Turkey Man is awesome, but the highlight for me is the techno version of Until We Say Goodbye. I like listening to EOC with this version instead of the one with live drums that's on the album.

Dr Strange - That's a good fantasy setlist. I love Flavor Crystal 7...
on non - We haven't heard anything, but I think "November-ish" is a safe guess for the DVD.
woodman300 - You've been here for a while, but I don't think I've ever talked to you before...so hello.

It'd be cool to meet up at the Wiltern show. Do you have pit tickets, or are you in seats somewhere?

Also, I see you live in Torrance...I work there; I'm a copy editor for the Daily Breeze (and the Press-Telegram, Long Beach's paper, but I work out of Torrance).

How old is your daughter? It's cool to hear that she's a Satch fan...

elpp - "I'll say both Austin and Tracie end up on the same row. If you both go into Ticketmaster at the same time you will definitely be sent to opposite sides"

We're on opposite sides of the venue...I blame you!

Well, once again, I have more posts to read but this is long so I'll be back later.

Listening to: Explosions In The Sky - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place (current song: Memorial)

...Austin...

Zachariah Zane.

Section E, row 3 right in the middle :) So it's all good, we can wave at each other there Austin, lol.

Stoopid ticketmaster though, they do appear to sell tix from the outside-IN, instead of the other way around. You'd think those of us that jump on buying them early should get the inner seats as a reward. FFS. But anyway, can't really complain with row 3.

Don't think I haven't fergotten about my free drink either......

As a Satriani fan, I got sad yesterday when I read here that he has 1 kid with Rubina and 4 other more off from tour affairs he had. I did not understand this, did he split up with Rubina, or did they broke up for a long time and got back together (because she is credited in new album, wouldn't make any sense if they had broken up), it has passed a very negative thing to me that it reveals his weakness spot in his life.

Hey!

I have been playing guitar since december. And now i heave learnt the song Stairway to heaven

The solo is one of the best soloes ever recorded by many of peoples meanings. Thats why i have learnt the solo

I have shortened the song a bit so it wont get boring to hear without singing Heres the videos

All without the solo:

Solo + ending

What do you think?

Oh fer gad's sakessssssssssss!!!

Funny mc, yer such a card...."we don't speak of him anymore", LOL.....

As for the size of Joe's family....It was a JOKE....chelly is very good at creative writing :))) Yer first hint should have been the wierd names she came up with, lol!

Joe has one kid, ZZ.....and appears very happy with his wife Rubina. I don't mean to speak for him, but many times he has expressed how lucky he feels to have her and their relationship....he writes her love songs still. I believe Joe treasures his family very much.

We should all be so lucky....and his devotion to his wife and son are part of the reason I hold Joe in such high regard.

PS, k Mc, just let me know. Fly into Reno, and outta San Fran, that's the ticket.

Howdy-song of the day-circles.

I always get the impression joe is a family guy-just happens to have a fire breathing rock n' rock dragon in that soul of his.

i hope ZZ knows what a cool pop hes got?

Its muggy in the midlands.

Ok Americans-where the best holiday spot in the States?

I would love to visit Monument Valley and the Grand canyon and lots of mountains, but new england looks nice-all them stephen king connections!

LOL... oh man, just now that I was trying to quite Erasure addiction, I couldn't come to bear a sex tour addicted. I am glad Joe is the good guy like I thought !!! I very much care about the way stars conduct their personal lives, I know that I haven't got anything to do with it, but reputation counts to me. DONT JOKE about that anymore ok I almost believed.

Yep, his Hagstrom guitar and that poor CP tour lost kid...it's reasons like that the man lost his hairs!

Shoe-fly & Natty-dread are the spitting image of Yngwie. Joe could never explain that one...

ZZ stands for Zebadiah Zabbydoo. Joe was drinking Zinfindel when he named him.

The best holiday spot in the US - Compton, California, or maybe Treton, New Jersey.

the end.
