pauloreis - that was a lovely post, thanks.

Michelle, I've only recently joined T2J, you've clearly been around for a long time, but can you tell me when you interviewed Joe and if it is available online? Are you a journo?

Do you play guitar?

Zinc Master - What'd you think of The Dark Knight?

Skippygirl - Hi...michelle was actually poking fun at me with her interview comment. I got to interview Joe back in 2005 as part of a webcast after winning a contest here at satriani.com. You can read about it here.

I have a copy of the interview on my computer...I've been meaning to transcribe it; maybe I'll finally get around to it now that someone has asked me about it.

I'm not sure how much of a role it played in my winning the contest, but I'm a journalist. I was still in college at the time of the interview with Joe, but I graduated with a journalism degree in 2006 and now I work as a copy editor for two local newspapers.

Anyway...you're still filling out your Satch CD collection via Ebay, right? Did you get any new albums recently?

cheese101 - Care to share the Guitar World article on Chickenfoot? Can you take a photo of the page and post it here or something?

I didn't think of this until now, but Billy Duffy (guitarist from The Cult) jammed on a few songs at the Sammy Hagar concert Sunday. I mentioned that earlier, but I didn't say that Sammy said something about working on a project with Billy later this year. I wonder if he's going to be involved with Chickenfoot as well...? Sammy is a bit of a workaholic though, so it could be something else. Joe, if you're reading this, do you have anything to add?

Tuesdayschild - I'm listening to Explosions In The Sky right now (see below). Did you know you can download an album of theirs in MP3 format from their site? Check it out:

I've never heard someone say 'oh carp' before, is it some sort of Aussie expletive?

Had a terrible dream that I took my guitar into school and it got broken! ***shudder*** not nice...Anyway, I'm off to have a taster session of track cycling tomorrow (the sort you will see on the Olympics-which I am going to miss as I am on holiday with not tv!!!!!). Should be fun =D

Do the Stu - I just read your post about you seeing Sammy open for hte Scorpions. I thought now that's something I wouldn't have thought. Sammy opening for them. But hey, I don't know the insides of the music business that well. I did read a review of that concert yesterday and according to this review, Sammy blew them off stage. I could see that. I just found your emails...they were in my spam for some reason. going to try to give them a listen today.

I have been off the site for a few days. I got my electric bill Saturday and I'm just now waking up! I love all the posts about U2. As some of you know when I ranked my top 10 a while back, they were in my top 5. I just picked up the Live from Paris. Very good. I haven't really enjoyed much of what they have done since 2000 though, musically speaking.

I really like what the Police and Best Buy have hooked up to do during their final show on Wednesday. They are going stream 3 songs live from the Best buy web site. Wouldn't you love to see Joe do that from the Guitar Center website during one of his shows?

Good Morning Satchland.......What Up?

js1200.......So you had to ask how the weather was....lol.....Last night we had a Major storm come through. Knocked out our power for 9hrs. We went for coffee this morn and the neighborhood looked like a war zone. Power lines down, trees on houses, trees everywhere in the parkways. Man it was bad and it came from nowhere. I'm not a weather man but I'm guessing the humidity in the Midwest kicked up this beauty. Our power was back on when I left for work(without the cd) I'll bring the cd tomorrow and email you so you can hear Tears In The Rain. Sorry.......Take Care.....

Chicago EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!!!!
