Hmmm...it feels weird to read a few hours' worth of posts on T2J and have nothing to respond to. ;-)

I guess I'lll throw a question out to everyone... I just got back from the gym, so I'm wondering what everyone's favorite workout albums are.

I listened to Aerosmith's Pump tonight; I'd say that's one of my top gym albums. For Joe albums, I think EOC and PSATMOR are great. I also listen to Rush's Power Windows and Hold Your Fire quite a bit.

I guess I'll stop at those five. What does everyone else listen to at the gym? It'll be nice to hear some suggestions...

Do the Stu - I don't go to the gym, but if I did I'd probably listen to something heavy like rammstein or dream theater or maybe some killswitch. Something which has that angry sound to it. I cycle a fair bit so can't really listen to music whilst exercising.

If you are bored and have no T2J posts to reply to then you should visit my website!

Welcome to the board.
May I ask you why you have a catalan name such as Joan Manuel, being from Colombia ? Are your parents fan of Joan Manuel Serrat, or any ot them have catalan roots ?
I'm also Joan, and it brings confusion about my genre here, as it's a girls name in english speaking countries

Hiya guys,

Just popped in my head to say my JS2kPLT should arrive in about a week. Sweet.

I also just stumbled upon what appears to be the worlds first available JSBDG! I am still confirming, but could have it next week.

I know, I know, they are not shipping from japan until end of month when Joe gets to sign the certs. Well, maybe I just got lucky?

I'll post a link to pics if I get it.

Hello everyone!!!

I have been trying to make a song that got a little bit of Jimi Hendrix over it, and also is a blues. And now its finished!!! The song is called "Jimi is Back"

Hear the song here: Mark Railton - Jimi is back

What do you think about my song??

I know it doenst have drums and vocals. Thats because i cant play drums or sing!

I would be very happy if someone could add drums, bass and vocals. That would be so cool!

I hope you like it and will enjoy my song

Please give a comment about it. I really want to know what you think about it!!

PS: How long time do you think i have been playing guitar?

I'm getting a new cat later, it's 8 weeks old, ginger tabby, long haired, and extremely cute. Dunno if it's a tom cat or not yet.

My kids were devastated when our last cat disappeared when we moved house in Feb. So this is a replacement for that cat.

Anyway, I'm thinking of calling it Capo. So whaddaya think?any other music related suggestions? I'm a long way from deciding so all suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

do the stu, since most of my workout is martial arts based, read into this fighting. i like to have some fast beats. usually choose something thrash and punk. rancid, fear, black flag, nofx , that type of stuff. damn yankees have some cuts that work. i also like techno for it. ferry corsen, tiesto, benni bennasi. need to have some semi angy to down right in a rage for it to work. on another note, i have pondered as i read what are the ages of most of you. i am joe's age. i have seen most of the great names that are tossed around on this forum. i have been fortunate enough to see hendrix, duane allman, clapton, mike pinera, VH satch vai etc. i find music lovers tend to be somewhat closed minded about things. some1 just said of buckethead and zappa... you either get it or you don't but i can appriciate some1's virtuosity weather i like their musical style or not.

I just found out about Chickenfoot with Hagar, Anthony and Smith.

So Joe is this a one time/CD thing or do you see this lasting for a few years?

Loved your last album especially Asik Vaysel and Andalusia.

castle49 - Cool...you must live near me, right? They were just in SoCal. Where'd you see 'em?

I saw the Steve Miller Band up in Mountain View last September...it may very well have been my favorite concert of the year. Among other cool things, Neal Schon came out to jam on a cover of Cream's Crossroads...

Tuesdayschild - Capo sounds like a fun name for the cat. I'll think about it for a bit and let you know if I come up with any other cool ones...
