I'm sure this is no surprise to anyone, but John Lennon's killer was denied parole again:

John Lennon's killer denied parole for 5th time

I think the decision is more to keep him safe from everyone instead of the other way around, but that's more than OK with me.

Blue_Moon - Are you actually seeing Satch in SF, or are you still being funny? ;-) What time does this flight of yours land?

do the stu. yep i am glad that murdering loser was again denied freedom. when i went to NYC, i had to go to the dakota and see it. there is still a bullet hole in the front wall. it was a more emotional visit than i really expected. good gawd it is hot in florida. too bad i can't spend the day lounging by the pool or at the beach sipping a frosty tropical drink.

Al, I say get Rubina to pick you up. I mean, she's already there in SF and everything, so why not? It's 2,830 plus miles from my house to San Francisco. I don't think I can afford the gas.

The new CD is very nice...Out of the Sunrise! What a great thing. Shewww if you all only knew, amazing how we can relate to songs in such different ways according to our own perspectives at the time of the listening experience. I Truly get moved by your music Joe, awesome!

Rubina, I Believe & The Forgotten, they have been a saving grace many times over the years. The power of music that stirs the soul and sweetens the moment in times when life is harsh, sometimes the music is a projection of the spirit that takes us through another storm onto a new day.

Thanks man, for putting real emotion into the music that brings something positive to us out here.....

Peace and hippy beads, and yes...oh dear...Ibanez geeeters! Late! Rodney James

Hey Joe!! Your show in Caracas last sunday was great!!! I'm still shocked and amazed of the energy you transmit live!!!

I had the fortune to assist to the Club Joe Meet and Greet and meet you, once again, thank you for the opportunity to talk to you p2p. I was wondering if you liked the "Stick of Rain" I gave you (the thing with lil' rocks inside that sounds when you turn it upside down) :) .

Keep on Rockin'!!

Joe Satch, thanks for a great Satchurator pedal...looking forward to seeing it in action in toronto in October! Here's a short demo, just noodling with a JS 1200 into a Peavey Classic 30 with a hint of reverb...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtD9450_u0o

Audio's kinda crappy and there are some flubs so I'll try to get some better quality demos with the Mac up on Youtube.

Cheers!

Blue_Moon - In all seriousness, I could give you a ride from the airport to the gig if you'd need me to. But you'd probably have to take an overnight flight so you arrive in S.F. in the early morning since I plan on being at the venue by 2 p.m. or so (a GA show plus traffic would make a later flight stressful, especially if there were a delay somewhere). And if you had to, I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to take public transportation from the airport to the venue. That actually might be faster than driving, depending on traffic.

While you're looking, check out flights into Sacramento International Airport as well. If you had a flight that landed before noon on the day of the show I could pick you up as I'm driving in to San Francisco. I don't know, maybe you'd find a cheaper ticket to Sacramento, and you'd also be landing at an airport with a Satch-related airport code (SMF).

Feel free to email me if you have more specific questions, so we don't clutter up T2J too much...

tikimon - I've been to New York three times in the past few years and I've gone by the Dakota each time, but I never got too close...I didn't know there's still a bullet hole there.

I was at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2002 and they had a special John Lennon exhibit. They had a display case containing the glasses he was wearing the night he was killed, and his dried blood was still on them. That's one of the most emotional things I've ever seen.

Ghostpowder - It's cool to hear you like the new album. Out Of The Sunrise is my favorite song from it as well.

I DO NOT CARE . . . That's why i'm ignoring you and staring at the T.V. when you're trying to talk to me cuz I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FEELINGS

It's all your fault . . .

slanshroom - my bad. I guess I never saw that post. That kid is pretty amazing. I just saw that he has been ordered to stop playing in bars. Now what's our country coming too? Not letting 9 year olds play in bars!! LOL. Only kidding of course.

Anyone catch the American mens relay race last night. SHATTERED another world record. The Chinese built the pool deeper than normal to cut down on the wake from the swimmers. I wonder if that question will get raised after this is over. There have been a lot of broken records.

So is tonight Joe's last show before the US leg starts? And maybe a little Chickenfoot recording! I can't wait for that project to take off.

I think you should just go Blue Moon, you're only young once. Sod the money, there are more important things in life.

You'd only be wondering afterwards what you missed out on!

What happened to Maria puts things into perspective! Consolations Clarky. Thinking of you and her family....

dear joe, my name is drew and I'm thirteen years old and one of your biggest fans. when you came to natick ma., april 1st my dad took the day off of work to take me and my mom to see you in person as they are also fans. we had a great time. my parents for my birthday july 29th got tickets for your upcoming concert at the orpheum theatre in boston,ma., oct 14 they were supposed to be in the middle orchester nine rows from the stage and ended up being in the left orchestra and the three seats are not even together this is not what we ordered and we paid $400.00 we tried to straighten this out with the company that sold the tickets to us and they baically said to us to bad than my dad called his credit card company to ask if they would take the 400.00 off his credit card and mail back the tickets to the company who sold them so we could then purchase suitable tickets to the event and they said to bad too. so joe what was supposed to be a great night to remember and the greatest birthday present ever has turned into a nightmare . joe can you help us our phone #6036681167 e-mail kitten31520@peoplepc.com

Clarky, Maire was a lovely person, I didn't really know her very much but did chat with her a few times and saw her website with her beautiful artwork. I'm really sorry at her loss....I guess now she's with the angels who are likely as beautiful as she always painted them to be.

My condolences to you, and her friends and family.
